Tenari Academy is filled to brim with parents and students moving around ...it's the Awakening exam for students so it's more like a graduation ceremony.

Meanwhile on the roof of the school...a lad sat there... he shouldn't be more than 16 years of age.

"I wonder what bloodline I'm gonna awaken....I just want to know who my parents are", the lad said with a grim face as he looked up at the sun .

" GAJEEL!!"., someone called him from behind.

He turned to see his best friend Hyou coming to him brimming with all smiles ." You must be really excited," Gajeel said with a chuckle.

"Ha...who wouldn't be....this is where I know whether I'm gonna trash those who bullied us last year ",Hyou said as he had a thought of standing over one of the bad boys with his leg of his chest .

Hyou looked at Gajeel, "I know you are looking for your parents ....but you have to be strong enough for you to be able to look up to them when you find them....you don't wanna be looking like a sissy when you are before them", Hyou said

"I know right....I'm just scared that maybe my bloodline might actually be a weak one" Gajeel said but Hyou slapped him on the head. "What sort of absurd thought is that ", Hyou said with a frown on his face .

"The Awakening is about to begin....Everyone should please gather at the Academy hall", A powerful voice resounded through the academy. Gajeel sighed as Hyou patted him on the shoulder to comfort him .

Many students are seated at one side while the parents/guardians at another side ....they faced a large podium which had a big sphere in the middle.... surrounding it were the school teachers,the principal and few other dignitaries.

"According to your sitting positions ...you all will come forward and start your awakening", the principal said with a coarse voice....he wore a red tuxedo and his hair was red,he had a pair of spectacles on.

The first to mount the podium was a boy, he was slender with a dark green hair and pale green eyes made him look cool.

"Hiro Hideaki ", the boy's name was announced as he walked towards the sphere with a non hesitant stride.

"All you have to do is put your mind into the sphere", the principal said as Hiro sighed as he placed his right palm on the sphere, it immediately lit up with a glow before changing colours from red to blue then to yellow before it stopped changing colours as soon as it reached Orange.

"The Orange category Bloodline", one of the dignitaries said, it was a woman. "He awakened the Fire Dragon bloodline", the sphere beamed as the words were inscribed on it.

"Congratulations Hiro on awakening a top tier bloodline", the people around the sphere appraised him. The students and parents applauded him as he went back to his seat.

So the awakening went on.... a few students awakened top tier bloodlines of either the Red , Orange or Yellow category, Majority awakened middle tier bloodlines of Blue , Green and White category, there wasn't anyone who had awakened a low tier bloodline yet.

"Gajeel Greenwheel",his name was announced. With a pint of hesitation he stood up and walked towards the platform... As he walked there were already bickering amongst the students.

"I wonder what type of bloodline he will awaken.... No need to bother he will just awaken a low tier just watch and see". they bickered.

Gajeel reached the sphere and placed his palm on it.

Gajeel placed his palm on the sphere which emitted a low beam of light. The colors changed rapidly before stopping at grey. When Gajeel saw it , he felt sad.

"Our first low tier Bloodline awakening",the principal said , one of the dignitaries looked at Gajeel and saw that there was a black smoke inside the sphere but after Gajeel removed his hand it dispersed like it wasn't there.

"Congratulations on Awakening the Snow Tiger Bloodline", the principal said as Gajeel bowed and walked back to his seat. Most of the students mocked him in low tones so as not to be noticed by the principal.

"It's alright dude , at least you awakened a bloodline", Hyou cheered him up but Gajeel just stared as if he had no life in him.

"Hyou Mishima", Hyou's name was announced, he sighed as he took one last look at Gajeel and walked towards the platform.

"Birds of the same feathers flock together..... I wonder what low tier bloodline he's gonna awaken", A boy said, he was muscular, he wore a beanie...his friends laughed and some of the girls chuckled .

" Awaken a stronger bloodline, Hyou ", Gajeel prayed as Hyou placed his hands on the sphere which emitted a thunderous sound and the hall immediately fell silent.

The sphere quickly took up a color ..

it became blood red....the people around stared wide eyed.

"This...this ...the Hell bloodline!!!" ,the principal exclaimed as he stood up from his seat. Hyou turned to look at Gajeel's direction and they both smiled at each other.

The awakening later ended. Hiro and Gajeel disappeared knowing that people will flock around him if he stayed any longer. Hiro went home while Gajeel still wondered around. But he felt he was being followed as he could feel the person's aura locking on him.

"If I want to die, people don't have to know",Gajeel said as he walked towards the Starfire Forest , the closest Forest to the city .

Star Fire Forest

Gajeel stopped as he turned around and a man was standing not too far away from him.

"who are you and what do you want??", Gajeel asked.

The man removed the cloak he was wearing, Gajeel noticed it was one of the dignitaries. "You were at our Awakening", Gajeel said.

"Yes , and I'm here basically because I noticed something about your awakening" the man said flatly.

" Is anything the matter?! ",Gajeel asked.

" Since you're so impatient let me go straight to the point ", the man said.

"You awakened two bloodlines", the man said

"How possible,I experienced it myself ,I awakened only one",Gajeel said.

"Would you be willing to confirm whether what I said is right?!", The man asked.

"What would I need to confirm it?!", Gajeel asked.

"I wonder what this old geezer is scheming under those wrinkles of his", Gajeel thought as the man smiled which stunned him.

" Did he read my thoughts?!", Gajeel asked in his thoughts as sweat ran through his back.

*Don't be too alert I'm a friend,you can call me Gi-Mick", the man said

"What sort of name is that ?!",Gajeel asked in his thoughts.

Gajeel just stood standing in front of the man who claims he awakened a second bloodline, which he finds really ridiculous.

"Okay, Sir.... how do I confirm it?! ", Gajeel asks.

"Hehe", the man just chuckled as he brought out two white stones, they were palm sized.

"Just control your mana and direct it into these mana stones",Gi-Mick said as Gajeel looked at him warily before sighing.

Taking the stones from the man, he directs his mana inside, the stone on his right hand shone a faint green which was the one he awakened during the ceremony. The stone on his left didn't emit anything.

"I told you, I didn't..... ", Gajeel cut short immediately as the stone on his left hand emitted a really bright red and black, it was blinding. It was a two bloodlines mixed in one.

Gi-Mick stared wide eyes, he knew Gajeel had awakened a second bloodline, but he didn't know it was this type.

"I can't believe it", He said as he looked closely at the stone, the pressure it was giving was powerful.

"What's going on, how could I awaken two bloodlines?? ", Gajeel asks as he drops the stones, the lights on it immediately went off.

"Calm down kid, what you have is almost the dream of any other kid, but yours is a different case, awakening the Zeusic bloodline is a feat that has not been accomplished in a thousand years... but you have achieved it", Gi-Mick said as he stared attentively at Gajeel.

"What's this Zeusic bloodline you're talking about??", Gajeel asks.

"Zeusic bloodlines comes in different forms but it's mainly the fusion of two powerful bloodlines into one", Gi-Mick explained.

"So the second bloodline I awakened is a Zeusic bloodline.... the two bloodlines involved are what and what? ", Gajeel asks.

"You should know yourself, you felt the aura didn't you", Gi-Mick said.

"Let's leave that aside, I just wanted to ask if you did be under my tutelage?", Gi Mick said as he stared bright eyed at Gajeel.

"Like... becoming my teacher and I your student? ", Gajeel said.

"Yeah , if that's the way you put it", Gi Mick says.

Gajeel immediately kowtowed, "Can teacher accept as your student?? ", He said. He didn't need to think because out of all the teachers in the academy, Sir Gi Mick was able to notice that he had two bloodlines.

"You didn't think about it?! ", Gi Mick asks surprised about Gajeel quickly accepting him as his teacher.

"I don't need to think about it, Sir... being able to know about my bloodlines is a clarity of your awesomeness", Gajeel bootlicked.

"Hahaha , you flatter me kid, you may rise", Gi Mick said as Gajeel stood up.

"Thank you teacher for accepting me",'Gajeel says.

"Anyway , we'll start our lessons immediately after school at my courtyard, don't be late plus keep your second bloodline a secret, it can keep you to serious danger", Gi Mick said.

"Yes , this student shall adhere to teacher's words", Gajeel said as Gi Mick nodded and flew away.
