(Mateo is in his bed, waking up from a very cold night after being told that he will have to fight another kingdom across his own. Everything was good until his dad said that. He didn't sleep all night, Causing him to be very grumpy.)

*Mateo grumbled while getting up in his sleepwear, before going to his bathroom to take a shower. Furthermore, he turns on the shower turning it to warm and then gets his clothes ready for the battle. He then takes off his own before then going into the shower letting the warm water pour all over him getting him wet. He got his shampoo and scrubbed it in and then washing it off before putting in conditioner and washing it off. He always loved smelling good. Once he got out, Mateo then dried off and put on deodorant and some very good smelling cologne and then slipping on his battle wear.*

*After all that he then trampled down the stairs to meet his dad in his own battle wear;*

*Mateos father says his voice in a deep tone.*

*Mateo grumbled back not liking the fact at only being twenty and having to go to war already. He was always getting put to go to war since he was ten by his dad. Mateo always wondered how he isn't dead yet after spending most of his life in war.*

*Mateos dad went angry and charged at him but Mateo dodged and ran out to the field where both kingdoms stood in front of eachother ready for war.*

*They knew if they heard the click the war has begun.* *one…* *two…* *three…* *!CLICK!* *the click was heard as both kingdoms charged at each other, Mateo charging at some random person before rolling down on the muddy grass as a horse ran over him.* *he gasped for air getting up*

*Mateo then looked around and found his dad fighting some random warriors. But something caught Mateos eyes in all the swords swinging at each other and the stomping of horses feet And men trampling over each other. It was a boy near his age holding a sword scared as he'll as he locked eyes with Mateo…*

*Before Mateo knew the boy charged at him falling ontop of him while moaning as he held the sword at Mateos throat,*

*the boy whispered..*

*Mateo gasped as tHe sword slightly cut his throat as he whined looking at the boy… Who seemed… Quite… Pretty. Well he can't focus on that now. he is in war and needs to focus.*

*he asks as then the boy who softly put the sword aside whispered;*

*the boy says in a ragged tone before picking up his sword again and getting off of Mateo secretly helping Mateo up*

*Mateo asked while commotion happened around him as the boy then stabbed his arm causing Mateo to yell in pain. The boy made sure it went deep, Seeming as if he didn't want to even speak of his name or just that the fact that he got a hold of his enemy to talk to him in the middle of the war. The boy was very smart, get a hold of your enemy; and strike them when they are most not focused.*

*Mateo then charges at the boy while the boy still has the sword in hand. Mateo Gets his sword from his side and stabs the boy right in the thigh causing the boy to let out a scream of pain that nobody could ever do—unless they were on a field like them getting stabbed in war.*

*the boy yells trying to get Mateo off of him* *one…* *two…* *three…* *!CLICK!* *one kingdom surrendered… What kingdom was it?.. They both stood there in confusion even though they're bleeding out like they both never had before.* *The boys Kingdom lost…*

*well it really wasn't his kingdom he was just fighting for it. Mateo looked around shocked looking at the pikes of bodied and horses and swords embedded in the dead men's bodies* *The boy stomped in frustration*

*He shouts before grumbling;*

*The boy stumbled away clutching his thigh that Mateo stabbed as Mateos mind then remembers the stab wound on his arm and grunts in pain before clenching it*

*Mateos warrior; then helped Mateo back to the kingdom as everyone who survived the war walked back with them too obviously not in good condition all of them going back to the kingdom and then to the nurses* *Mateo laid down on the nurses bed*

*the nurse then tended to Mateos wounds, wrapping them up and putting cleaning ointment And bandages on it making sure it wouldn't bleed out too much*

*THE NEXT DAY.* *Mateo winced and whined in pain not being able to turn around as much as well-being hurt from the war… But all night his dreams were full of the boy. The boy that stabbed him. The boy that almost killed him. The boy that caught him off guard and stabbed him when he wasn't focused at all. The boy that was a hundred times smarter than Mateo. The… Boy.*

*He then saw his father in the bed next to him obviously hurt.*
