Nî hâo everyone , I'm Song Yao, the female lead of this story.I'm 17 years old. I'm the apple of my family's eye except for my grumpy mother . I've been pampered ever since the day I was born. That's the reason why I'm too proud and arrogant but that doesn't mean I'm a princess waiting for her Prince Charming or knight in shining armor. I only have one aim in life and that is to become an empress without an emperor by my side or should I say a female emperor .I'm talented in both martial arts and literature.

This is my master Yi Shinhong. He's really brave, tough and disciplined person. But most importantly he's very bossy and arrogant . And I can do nothing but to listen and follow his instructions obediently. He's been my mentor as well my nanny since I was born though he's five years older than me.The person who I've become today is because of him(atleast half of it).To be honest, he is such a bully.

This is Li Shang, the male lead of this story. Unlike any other story he is not my love interest or my crush but my best friend. He is just three years older than me. He is my male version but he is very gentle ,kind

and caring when it comes to me.He is the crown prince of the Li dynasty. And when he knew I decided to stay single, he decided that he would also stay single. Honestly speaking, he is such a sweetheart.

"Don't move, you should rest. You must be tired. By the way, where is my little princess?" "Here, your highness,"said a maid giving the newborn baby to the emperor.

"How lovely you are, my little angel!"said the emperor."Your highness, there is bad news,"said the imperial physician,"The empress will not be able to give birth again."The room which was filled with the murmurs of happiness suddenly froze into silence. When hearing this, the concubines smirked.

Author's note : Àomàn means arrogant in Chinese.
