The unexpected visit
It is my first chat story
Ellen
[Yawns] Another day in this small apartment..
Ellen
[Looks around] I should clean this place up. [Laughs softly]
Ellen
[Surprised] Who’s knocking so early?
Ellen
[Opens the door] Huh? Diana?!
diana
[Smiling] Surprise, Ellen!
Ellen
Diana! Oh my gosh, it’s really you! [Hugs her]
diana
[Laughs] Yep, it’s me! Did you miss me?
Ellen
Of course I missed you! What are you doing here? I thought you were living your dream life in Paris.
diana
[Smirks] Paris is okay, but I missed home. And I missed you! Can I come in?
Ellen
Oh, right! Come in, come in. Sorry, my place is a little messy.
diana
[Looks around] It’s nice and... small.
Ellen
[Laughs] You mean tiny.
diana
So, Ellen, what’s new? Are you still working for that terrible boss?
Ellen
Ugh, yes. He’s worse than ever. I swear he hates me.

[Laughs] You always say that.
Ellen
Well, it’s true! He’s awful.
diana
[Teasing] Not as bad as you, though. Remember how you cried over a burnt pancake?
Ellen
[Grins] Hey, that pancake was special!
diana
[Throws a cushion at her] You’re so silly!
Ellen
I missed that. It’s been so long since we just sat and talked.
diana
So, how's about your mom?
Ellen
Sh.. She.. She is fine [frightening]
The first episode is over
leaving the house

Caron
Caron: [Steps into his grand mansion, loosening his tie] Finally home... another day of meetings and headaches.
He walks into the living room and notices a photo frame on the shelf.
Caron
[Picks up the photo] Mom... Dad... [His eyes soften as he stares at the picture of the three of them smiling together.]
For a moment, his tough exterior cracks, and a tear slips down his cheek.
Caron
[Wipes his tear and sighs] Enough of this.
lucy
[Standing nearby, watching him] (He’s sad… this is my chance.)
Lucy approaches him hesitantly.
lucy
[Softly] Mr. Caron, are you okay?
Caron
[Without looking at her] I’m fine. What is it?
lucy
[Nervously] I just… I wanted to say…
Caron glances at her, his sharp eyes reading her intentions instantly.
Caron
[Interrupting] Don’t.
Caron
[Without another word, Caron walks out of the house, leaving Lucy standing there]
Mr. Ethen
[Yelling] Ellen! Where’s my coffee?! You’re so useless!
Ellen
[Hurriedly brings the coffee] I’m sorry, sir. Here it is.
Mr. Ethen
[Takes the coffee and glares at her] Too late. Get out of my sight!
Mrs. Bella
[Walks in, frowning] Ethan, stop it!
Mr. Ethen
[Ignoring her] Useless servant.
Ellen
[Tears streaming] I... I’m sorry...
Mrs. Bella
[Pulls Ellen aside] That’s enough! Ellen, you can’t stay here anymore.
Mrs. Bella
soon he will kill you [frightening]
Ellen
[Sobbing] But… I need this job...
Mrs. Bella
[Crying] No job is worth this. Please, Ellen, leave before he does something worse.
Ellen
[With a heavy heart, Ellen nods and gathers her things. She walks out of the house, tears in her eyes]
Ellen
[To herself] What do I do now? I have nowhere to go...
Suddenly she hitted a man
The harsh encounter
Ellen
[Suddenly, she bumps into someone and stumbles back.]
Ellen
[Panicking] I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to
Caron
[Coldly] Do you even look where you’re going?!
Ellen
[Trembling] I-I wasn’t paying attention...
Caron
[Glaring] People like you... so careless and pathetic. Always causing trouble for others...
Ellen
[her face turns red with shame, and tears well up in her eyes]
Caron
[notices her tear-streaked face and pauses for a moment].
Caron
[Thinking] (Why does she look so... broken?
Without another word, Caron turns and walks away, leaving Ellen standing there, confused and hurt.
Ellen returns to her small apartment. Diana, her best friend, is waiting for her.
diana
Diana: Ellen! You’re back. Are you okay?
Ellen
[Sitting down, wiping her tears] I don’t know, Diana... everything is falling apart.
Ellen
[Sighs] Mr. Ethan slapped me today... and his wife begged me to leave before he did worse.
diana
[Angrily] That man is horrible! I’ve been telling you to quit for months.
Ellen
[Nods] I did… but now I don’t have a job.
diana
[Pausing] Wait, there’s something else, isn’t there?
Ellen
[Hesitates] On the way here, I bumped into this man… he yelled at me so harshly. He called me pathetic.
diana
Diana: [Frowns] how dare he scold my friend..😡
Ellen
[Crying softly] I feel so lost, Diana...
diana
[Thinking] I might know a solution.
diana
I heard about a rich man looking for a servant. He pays well, and it could be a good start for you.
Ellen
[Worried] Another rich man? What if he’s like Mr. Ethan?
diana
[Firmly] He won’t be. I’ll make sure of it. Just give it a chance, Ellen.
Ellen
[Hesitating] ...Okay, I’ll try.
The next day, Ellen arrives at a grand house, nervous but hopeful.
She rings the doorbell. A butler opens the door and greets her.
Butler
You must be the new servant. Come in.
Ellen
[Whispering] This is nothing like my old job…
She doesn’t realize that this house belongs to Caron.
