POV OF ALEXA

My dad parked the car near the gate. I got out from the car and took a view at the great historic building of the HARTFIELD UNIVERSITY.

I wore my round glasses with two blonde braids resting on my shoulders. I wore a brown tshirt tugged in my black jeans. Dad took out my red luggage from the backseat of the car. I hung my small backpack on my right shoulder and I had my novel which I was reading in the car in my right hand. I took the luggage from dad.

"Best of luck sweetheart." Dad exclaimed. It had cost him a fortune to pay for the fees.

I held his hands, "Thank you for everything, I'll surely make you proud."

"I trust you sweetheart." He had tears in his eyes. I gave him a quick hug and left.

I entered the gate, I finished my check at the gate and went in. I looked back, dad was still there waving at me, I waved back.

I was not able to find the room. I was searching, when suddenly a guy came running and dashed me out. We both fell with a thud. My luggage hit the ground hard.

"Can't you watch where your going?" I asked checking whether my luggage had broke.

"You should have watched your way." The guy said getting up. He sounded rude. He wore a sky blue tshirt and light brown trousers with a white Nike shoes. He had a stubborn expression on his face and I totally hated it. He seemed to be of my age. I thought ignoring him was the best I could

do. He gave me a hand when I realized I was still on the ground. I ignored his hand and got up on my own. He smirked and took his hand back moulding his hairs. I took my luggage and walked past him. "Are you new here?" He asked as I walked away. "Yea" I replied looking back. He nodded biting his lower lip. "Could you tell me were are the rooms?" I asked expecting him to help. "Yea, go straight and the 2nd left." He replied and went running again. I was about to thank but he had left already.

I took the locations, I took the 2nd left, there was a long route, it took me 30 minutes when suddenly I saw a dog it was wild, it came running towards me. I got panicked I ran back with my luggage, the dog took a high jump and was about to land on me, someone threw a stone at it to which it fell down to the ground. A tall guy with a white cap, a light green loose tshirt and white torn jeans stepped in. He was fair as the lily. I was catching my breath when he came to me, "Are you okay?" He asked politely. "Yea" I said with a sweet smile. "What are you doing here? Are you new?" He asked scanning the surroundings and landing his eyes on me.

"Yea, I'm new and a passer by told me that the rooms were here."

"He has fooled you, no one comes this way and it's always haunted by wild dogs."

I felt like kicking the *** of the stranger. Damm why did I even ask him. "Thank you, if not for you I think I would have been bitten already. " I said to the stranger.

"Let's get out of here first." He said taking my luggage.

"Its fine I can carry" I said holding my luggage.

He took my right hand which was on the luggage and kissed it, " How can I let a beautiful lady carry such a big luggage?" Soooo sweet, I felt my cheecks turning pink. He was like Prince Charming. He was totally opposite to the stranger. "Can I know your beautiful name?" I snapped out from my thoughts.

"Umm.. Alexa, Alexa Powell." I replied.

"Ohh.. Myself James Carlet. Nice meeting you Alexa."

"Nice meeting you too." I replied.

We walked few steps silently. "What were you reading?" He asked looking at the book in my hand. "Its the TWILIGHT." I replied looking at the book.

"I've read it, its pretty good ." I nodded in agreement.

"Which room are you staying?"he asked when we reached out.

"Room 105." I said looking at the paper which had the details, I had kept it in my book.

"I too am in the same room! It seems we are roommates. " Yeaaah, his my roommate that means I got a chance. I smiled to myself.

"Uh.." I saw him confusingly staring at me. "Nothing " I said with a smile.

He took me to the room, I stepped in the room was further divided into six small rooms.

"We are actually six roommates, I think they haven't arrived yet, you can select your room." He said looking at the rooms. "Ok" I replied. Three rooms were at the first floor and three at the ground. Below the rooms were 2 facing each other and the other facing forward near the kitchen. Above also 2 rooms were facing each other and 1 room faced forward and there was another door I don't know what that was I didn't want the above ones. I choose a room that was facing the other room. It was the corner one. "Ok, you can settle in there." James said leading me inside the room. The room was big with a single bed and a bathroom and toilet. There was a bookshelf near the bed and a wardrobe, there was a tv facing the bed. "Which room are you in?" I asked curiously. "The one above yours." He said with a smile. His emerald green eyes shone at his smile. "Ok" I replied a little dissapointed. He was about to leave, "Evening 7 there is a party upstairs in the balcony, just 6 of us, hope you join."

"Sure." I said confirming.

He left the whole afternoon I spent unpacking my things. At six my room was perfectly decorated. I had brought some photos that I hanged on the walls in front of the bed above the tv. They we actually family photos. I got freshed, I opened the braids and tied my blonde long hairs into a ponytail that reached my waist just above my butt. I wore a pink skirt. It reached till my knees it had a golden strip across my waist it had net sleeves. I wore small golden earrings. I heard a knock at my door. I quickly applied some lip balm and took a glance at the mirror. I looked simple and casual. I opened the door and found James. He was still wearing the cap and was in the same dress. "Hey" I greeted. It wasn't 7 there were 10 more minutes left. "Hii, here meet Jack" he said facing a guy with a white shirt that had icecream cones printed on it. He gave me a handshake. "And this is Kathylin" he said facing a girl who wore a blue skirt with white flowers printed on it. She gave me a hug, she was beautiful. "And this is Becca." A girl who was about 5'9 and wore a high heel which made her as tall as James. She wore a red skirt with diamond designs at the neck, she gave me a bright smile and hugged me.

"And guys this is Alexa." James turned to me. "Nice meeting you. " everyone greeted. "Nice too meet you all too." I said with a smile.

""Aren't we supposed to be six? I think we are only five." Becca noted. "Yea, Chris is in the balcony already. " James spoke.

"Then let's head up." Jack said moving upstairs.

"Let's go" Kathylin said holding my hands. I was at the last. We reached up there was 2 three seat sofa placed face to face with a table in between the guy faced backwards and was watching the sight. "Chris we are here." He turned, my mouth fell, "YOU!?" we both spoke at the same time.

POV OF ALEXA

"You are my new roommate?" I asked in shock.

"Huh." He said with a smirk.

"You two know each other?" James looked at him then me. "He is the one who led me to the wild dog." I spoke in a comparatively loud voice.

"Seriously?" He looked at him, uhh Chris or what so ever. "How dare you do that." I said taking a step towards him, "You are just a rude guy who goes on enjoying pranks."

"You were too naive, I never asked you to trust me." He said taking a step towards me.

"You were the one who came running to me." I said taking a step towards him.

"You could have move aside, wasn't it your trick to approach me?" He said taking a step towards me.

"Who do you think you are? I would better try getting close to a ghost than thinking of getting close to you." I said rolling my eyes.

"Really! You act well but not up to my mark. You just are like the other girls trying to approach me." He said taking a step towards me.

"You wish, but you are not my type." I said with a fake smile.

"Ohhhhh" the other's cheered at my line. "Really?" He raised his brows and took a step towards me. He was already very close like only 15 cms away now.

"I'd better die single than dating you." I said looking at his sky blue eyes directly and sharply.

He took another step, I could already feel his breath and smell his scent. I still looked in his eyes and so did he.

"Are you picking up a fight?" I said raising one eyebrow.

"Uhh, guys it okay just forget it, let's party." James said putting a hand between us. We still eyed each other. "Uhh, you ruined the mood." Becca said frowning at James. Soon everyone settled. I sat next to James. Chris sat on his other side. "How about some drinks?" Jack said getting up. "Sure" Kathylin who sat in front of me answered. "Obviously " Becca joined. "I prefer whiskey." Chris said still in his stubborn voice. "And you?" Jack said eyeing me. "Uhh, sure." I spoke softly. "Let me help you." James said getting up. They headed downstairs.

Becca and Kathylin took selfies. I watched the surroundings when suddenly I felt Chris staring at me. I turned to him and found that he was really starting. He gave me a smile. What's with this guy? I ignored him a looked away. He shifted near me and put his hand on the coach behind me. I looked at his hand and turned to him. "What?" I asked annoyed.

"You got my attention." He said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes. It sounded like some sort of Male leads from the comics. The Male leads I hate due to there attitude and behavior towards the female lead. I just ignored him more. He was busy in his mobile. James and Jack returned with 1 box of whiskey and 1 box of beer.

I tried to get up from my seat but Chris pulled me back by my shoulder. "What's your problem man?" I said in a low voice. "Just sit here." He ordered. I elbowed him in the stomach "Ouch!" He cried in a low voice, I got up and sat between Becca and Kathylin. Chris sat in front of me. James was about to distribute the drinks when Becca stopped him. "Let's play a game, then have the drinks."she suggested. "Yea!" Jack and Kathylin said in unison. "What game?" I asked seeing Becca. "Umm.. Truth and Dare." She replied. "Okay" everyone agreed. Chris made a no but James compromised him. We went on counting numbers. It stopped on Jack. "Truth or dare?" Kathylin asked. "Truth, I guess" he replied. "Okay, whom did you give your first kiss?" Kathylin asked. He was silent for a moment, everyone's eyes was on him. "Uhh. Harden. He was my first boyfriend." He said blushing. "Ohhh." We three said in unison teasing him. He was a gay! That's fine as it doesn't matter.

We counted again. It ended on James. "Uhh, truth." He replied. "Who's you recent crush?" Jack asked. Suddenly I lit up. "Uhh, not really but I got attracted towards her." He replied.

"Who?" It slipped out from my mouth. Everyone turned there eyes to me. "Umm, just curious." I explained and everyone looked at James for the answer. Kathylin patted my back, I turned to her, she gave me a wink. I blushed, I don't know why. I turned to James to hear the answer. "Uhh, do I really have to answer?" Yeaaaa fucking yeaa I screamed inside me. "You can choose dare anyway." Jack offered. "What would be that?" James asked. "Give someone your signature cap!?" Jack replied. "That would be better. " he said taking off his cap. His hairs were messy. He still looked handsome. His brown hair suited him. He got up from the seat and gave his hat to Chris. It felt like he was honoring Chris with is cap. "Yea, buddy" Chris got up and gave him a hug."They are buddies since the last decade." Kathylin gossiped. "Ohh" I said looking at them.

It was settled, we started counting again it stopped on me. "Dare!" I replied. "Ohh" Kathylin and Becca cheered. "Do you dance?" James asked. "Yea." I answered. Actually I've learnt dance for 7 years. I was a top hip hop star in my dance class. "Okay, where Becca's heels and do your signature dance step." James spoke. I was shocked her heels were too big and my signature step included a spin. "I'll try." I stood up Becca gave me her heels. I wore them, I was naturally a flats lover as I was 5'8 already. I headed forward and started dancing. It was fine everyone cheered. I took slight and soft moves. At the last there was a spin that completed my dance. I took a spin when suddenly I slipped I was about to fall, I closed my eyes and was ready to fall when suddenly I was caught. I didn't fall. James caught me as he was sitting nearby, everyone got up from there seats even Chris. "Are you okay?" Becca and Kathylin came rushing to me. "Yea" I was still in James's arms. He held me in a bridal style and made me sit on the couch. "Did you sprain your ankle?" He said taking off the heels. "No, I have a habit of falling. Nothing serious." I replied. He nodded and raised. He sat besides me. Chris sat on my other side, whereas Becca and Kathylin sat besides Jack in between. We started counting again. "You dance pretty well." Chris commented softly. Was it a compliment? "Ohh, thank you." The counting stopped. It ended on Becca. "Dare" she replied. "Drink 2 bottles of whiskey." I said giggling. "That's my girl." Kathylin said giving me a high five. Becca got up and got two bottles and started drinking, she drank the bottles like in 2 minutes. "Wooow" we cheered as she finished her 2nd bottle.

We counted again and it ended on Chris. "Dare." He said eyeing Becca. "Kiss someone among us." She said with a smirk. We saw her way shocked. No one expected this. "Okay he agreed." We turned our shocking eyes to him. He came near me, more near.. what was he doing!? I went back and hit my head to the couch. "What are you thinking about?" He said with a smirk and got up and kissed Kathylin on her right cheek. I let a relived sigh. Everyone clapped and cheered. We didn't count this time as only Kathylin was left. "Truth."she replied. "Who was the guy who kissed you for the first time." Chris asked. "Guy?" She asked with a surprised look. What's with that look? "I think it's you who just kissed me for the first time." She answered. Everyone saw her with surprise. "Seriously?" Jack asked, "Yes, cause I've only kissed girls!" She answered. I got a shock a gay was okay but will I be able to maintain up now? I was in threat. What am I thinking about? She is my friend. I should support her. I gave her a smile.

The game was over. We started drinking and chatting. Jack played the music to which we danced. Chris came behind me, we danced together. At some point I didn't care. I think its because of the alcohol. We danced all night.

POV OF ALEXA

"Get your leg off me!" Becca shrugged.

"2 more minutes." Jack replied.

"The sun rays!? I hate it." Kathylin murmured.

"Just look at them!" Kathylin hopped.

"Uhh." I opened my eyes. The sun rays fell directly to my eyes. I put my hands in between to block the rays. I felt a hand on my waist hugging me, it wasn't my hand I turned to see James, I had his hand below my head, he wasn't hugging me. I turned left and found Chris, he was the one hugging me. I had leaned to him. I got up and found James's leg on mine.

I looked up all the three smiled at me. I blushed, it was so embarrassing. I patted James and Chris on their cheeks. James slightly opened his eyes. "Hi..uhh..morning.." he looked at me his legs still on mine. "When are you planning to take your legs of her?" Kathylin asked teasing. "Uhh.." he quickly took his leg back and sat near me. I turned to Chris. "Hey, wake up!" I said pushing his hands off me. "Just 5 minutes." He said hugging tightly. "Hey, Chris who do you think your hugging?" James shot his forehead with a smile. "Uhh, Jammy!" He shrugged. He opened his eyes wide when he saw me. He took back his hand, and got up and sat next to me. I tried to get up but failed. Kathylin gave me a hand, I smiled at her.

We headed downstairs she took the room next to the kitchen. I went to my room. I took a shower and got out, my head pained a little due to the alcohol last night. I wore a red skirt with a golden flats. I tied my hair to a ponytail. I applied a thin liner and nude lipstick. I took my backpack and opened my door I bumped into the front door person. "Uhh sorry. " I looked up at the man. "Why it has to be you?" I frowned at Chris and walked away locking my door behind. "Hey, wait up. Which class are you attending? Let me help you." He came behind me. "No thanks." I turned and gave him a fake smile. I was about to exit when I heard Kathylin's voice, "Hey there you two, have some coffee and breakfast."

"Sure." I turned to the kitchen and sat on the dining table, it was made for 6 people. It was round. Chris sat next to me. I don't know why he is being so sticky, I just hated it. "This for you and this for you." Kathylin placed a plate with caramel waffle. "Yumm" I said taking a bite. "You are just a pro!" I continued. "Thank you, Thank you." She replied with a smile. "Uhh it's good" Chris said taking a bite. "I'll bring coffee " she left with a smile. It was really tasty. "Is yours more tasty?" He raised a eyebrow and took a bite from my waffle. "Hey that's mine" I snapped and took a bite from his waffle. "What are you guys eating?" James came down. "Umm... Kathylin's waffle." I replied. "Ohh!" He opened his mouth. I didn't understand the he looked down to my plate. I took a spoonful of waffle and fed him. Chris looked at both of us in shock. "Umm.. its really tasty! Can I also get one" he asked Kathylin who returned with coffees. "Yea, sure." She replied. And returned to the kitchen. James and I took the coffee. I took a sip it was sweet and good. I kept my mug on the table and had the last bite of waffle. Chris picked my mug a took a sip of my coffee from the side I had just drank. "What are you doing? It's my coffee!" I looked at him surprised. "Ohh I thought it was mine." He said with a smirk and gave back the mug. "I don't want it anymore." I said getting up.

Kathylin returned from the kitchen and gave James his waffle.

I took my bag and got up, I walked in the hallway lost, suddenly someone patted I turned to find James, "Which class?" He asked. "Freshman 1(B)." I replied. "I take you there." He offered. "I can go myself, you go to your class." I replied he tried to help but I refused. He smiled at me and wished goodbye and left.
