Batman and His Overly Attached Wife

The beginning

Looking over the city of Gotham he senses a shadow approaching and as he turns around loaded with his rifle, he sees what is his favorite view of the night. That's his wife standing toe to toe with him.

Batman is stressed out as tonight was a dark time to be out in the city especially with a targeted person like him. He still doesn't think too much of it and he sees the bat signal in the sky. He opens his glider and as he lands on the subway waiting area

He sees a mob of roadmen knifing an innocent citizen

As they look back they see nothing as the shadow is never seen by anyone

He appears behind the group leader and cracks his neck, and as they see their leader fall to the ground with a twisted neck facing them, they feel nothing but fear and shivers going down their spine. But vengeance wasn't served and batman keeps his weapons to fight hand to hand and breaks their bones for the night.

He goes back to the batcave and sees his wife spying on him using the bat logo on his chest plate. Batman is proud of his wife as she is learning the detective work as well.

Batman starts moving towards her while removing his mask and there he does a mistake.

Catwoman sees a scar on his face that was from the roadmen and gets concerned. She is pissed but keeps her cool and says while caressing his face,"when will all of this come to an end, when will you be able to rest" while tears flowing on her face. But Bruce cannot stop as he had found his peace in protecting the city.

They both go the room and change and freshen up. After a long day of looking after the city of Gotham he finally can rest in his wife's arms. He softly glides his hand across her face telling her not to follow him everywhere because of how it could risk in him losing her. Bruce who only cares for his wife is really concerned for his wife's tactics and ways of following him even though he tells her not to. He sees her smiling and that's when his heart knows that he has won in his life. Bruce had always been a lonely and aggressive person who finally found his home. He moves closer to her and she on seeing this instantly joins her lips with his. Both of them fall asleep.

This night ends with horror in some people's eyes and questions raised about batman's sanity. How he brutally murders his enemies and how he still manages a family of his wife and butler, Alfred.

A new beginning in the lives of the people of Gotham.

more questions raised in their minds; "will batman protect them or his sanity?" , "will he be enough alone?"

But nobody knows the dedication he has set upon his goal.

scars and screws

where did he come from?

The most important question is why did he appear. Batman, the protector of Gotham city never had a great story to tell.

He was born in a rich family. His parents were killed Infront of him because of his mistakes

how?

He went to the theatres with his parents and during the movie, Bruce got scared of a few men that were looking at him. So he told his father that he wants to leave, and his father as every father would, agrees. They leave from the back door and reach a dark alley where they encounter a man with a pistol that was trying to loot them. Bruce's father gave him his wallet and his mother gave him the necklace she was wearing but the robber didn't spare their lives. He ruthlessly murdered Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne Infront of Bruce Wayne.

Bruce, scarred from this. Set out on a journey to find himself. He learnt martial arts and as he was an intelligent person he was excellent in his trial as a Russian spy. Bruce came back to Gotham city and saw how Gotham's name was stained with crime and murder. Bruce wanted this to come to an end. He asked his most trusted companion who was his father's respected advisor and best friend, Alfred, to make a bulletproof suit for him which could bear any type of conditions. Bruce had his father's assets and to him everything was affordable.

Bruce got his suit and Alfred showed him the cave under his father's mansion. Bruce encountered some bats and was funnily traumatized by the encounter with bats. This is where Batman was born.

Bruce made some mistakes at first and people easily overpowered him even in the simplest conditions. But he learned from his mistakes and caught up. Bruce was an insane and ruthless person who only knew how to kill and torture. He was full of grief and anger and his way to be sane was to kill the evil and protect the innocent. His first time encountering a worthy opponent was in a dark alley with a woman who was in danger, he had her on gun point and vengeance had reached there. He gave the gunner a distraction and as the killer looked the other way, Bruce had already beheaded him. The woman who he saved was actually his later to be wife who he didn't even know had fallen in love with him during this encounter

Bruce found satisfaction in his ways and he had found peace in the safety of Gotham. The city had a protector and finally someone who had the capability to control the crime rate. But did the people trust Bruce?

The simple answer is no. People were afraid of his wrath. Noone trusted him because of his hidden identity. People had made theories that Batman was infact an outcomer on this planet and we're scared that his tactics were to just take control over the minds of the people.

Bruce, who even after seeing all this backlash, continued his journey. He had already landed an arrow in the enemy's hearts. Enemies had their body's shivering in fear of Batman. None dared to step up. But as Bruce thought that the crime rate had decreased, a psycopath who didn't want any money or any expensive shit. No he was all about blood and relentlessness. Batman had to face a new obstacle.

Will he be able to do that? Will he be able to protect his people?

Questions arising...........

Shattered masks

Today's chapter is a really special one in Bruce's life, a new beginning and an irrevocable episode in Batman's life that shaped him as the man he is today.

The Bat-Signal lit up Gotham's sky, cutting through the thick clouds. Bruce Wayne, weary and bruised, stood on the balcony of Wayne Manor, staring at it. He hadn't slept in three days. The city didn’t rest, so neither could he.

The villain was new—The Sculptor. A masked psychopath obsessed with beauty, symmetry, and perfection. His victims were found displayed as grotesque “art pieces,” their faces mutilated and their bodies twisted into unnatural poses. He left no fingerprints, no DNA—just cryptic messages carved into the walls, mocking Batman’s failures.

Bruce was losing. Every clue led to another dead end—or another dead body.

---

Act 1: The Sculptor’s Game

Batman’s search led him to the ruins of an abandoned opera house. The Sculptor’s voice echoed from speakers hidden in the shadows.

"You hide behind a mask, Batman. But I see you. Flawed. Broken. And I’m here to fix you."

Batman pushed forward, disarming traps and decoding riddles. But the Sculptor was always a step ahead, luring him deeper into obsession and doubt. The villain seemed to know Bruce’s limits—his fears. And he exploited them.

---

Act 2: The Unexpected Ally

After another sleepless night, Bruce returned to the Batcave only to find Selina Kyle—Catwoman—waiting for him.

“I hear you’re chasing shadows,” she purred. “Thought you could use someone who knows how to slip through them.”

Batman hesitated but accepted her help. Selina’s skills as a thief and her knowledge of Gotham’s underworld led them to a private gallery run by the Sculptor’s followers.

They uncovered disturbing videos—the Sculptor had been studying Batman for months. Every move, every failure cataloged.

Selina stayed close, pushing Bruce to keep going even when the exhaustion started eating away at him. But their partnership wasn’t without tension. She challenged him—emotionally and morally—forcing him to confront how much of himself he’d sacrificed to the mask.

---

Act 3: Breaking the Bat

The Sculptor finally revealed his endgame. He kidnapped Commissioner Gordon and left Batman with an ultimatum—unmask himself before Gotham or let Gordon die.

Batman stormed the Sculptor’s lair, but it was a trap. Explosions tore through the building, leaving Batman pinned under rubble. Catwoman fought to free him, but the Sculptor appeared, taunting them both.

“I’ve already won,” the Sculptor said, holding a detonator. “You can’t save everyone. And you can’t save yourself.”

In a desperate move, Selina tackled the Sculptor, buying Batman just enough time to escape the wreckage and disarm the bomb. But the Sculptor vanished into the flames, leaving only his mask behind.

---

Act 4: No Rest for the Broken

Despite saving Gordon and stopping the bomb, the victory felt hollow. The Sculptor’s final words haunted Bruce.

Days later, Batman found another cryptic message painted across the Gotham skyline: "Perfection cannot be destroyed. Only delayed."

Selina urged him to step back, to rest. But Bruce couldn’t. The Sculptor was still out there, still watching, still planning. And Gotham needed its protector.

As Batman disappeared into the night, Selina watched from the shadows, whispering, “Be careful, Bruce. Even steel breaks.”

---

Epilogue:

Deep in Gotham’s sewers, the Sculptor carved another mask—this one resembling Batman’s own.

"I’ll fix you, Bruce Wayne. One piece at a time."

What does that mean?. Does this mean he will return again?. Noone knows but batman has kept his eyes open after a disastrous encounter like this.
