it was a Friday night and I just graduated highschool. it was great I had my degree and felt pride but that got ruined when I arrived home. my older sister had a celebration party while I had nothing.

I'm not complaining since this isn't the first time. they do this alot. it would be nice if they could show me just as much attention as her.

that night I had decided to go out. I was going to my favorite place. Wendy's burgers. it had the best burgers and milkshakes. I wore my black sweatpants and long white tshirt with my black and white shoes. I tiptoed down stairs since the party was still going on and my parents made me a curfew.

as soon as I reached the door I ran out before anyone could notice. at Wendy's burgers I got my usual meal.

it felt strange coming here alone since I used to come here with my boyfriend. well still current boyfriend. he's just ... it's complicated. I got home and when I opened the door my sister had sat herself on my boyfriend Alex. she was top of him flirting away with him. I sucked my head in disgust. in our own home too. Alex noticed me and smiled. he grabbed my sister's butt then squeezed making sure I noticed. I didn't say anything or care. I was only patient with him because of our engagement I would have never wanted him otherwise nor gave him my heart. I walked up the stairs and closed my door gently since my parents were asleep. it hurt to see them like that but I got used to it. in fact, I'm used to being mistreated and abused. I plopped on my bed and fell asleep. the next morning I woke up on a hurry since I needed to cook breakfast. I rushed down and made pancakes and fruit salads with 2 coffees. as my parents got down stairs and started their coffee and breakfast I heard giggling from upstairs. my sister walked down sister but not alone. she was holding hands with Alex. he was shirtless and she hand only a short on. I slammed the food hard on the table. my mother was furious and slapped my cheek. "don't u care that she slept with my boyfriend." she groaned in annoyance. I didn't care she cared for the table then my feelings. I looked at my dad but he said nothing at all.

I stormed off to the front yard. are these people really my family. I cried a little thinking that just how far they could go. I was humiliated and shamed all at once. I decided to take a stroll around the town. it was getting late but I didn't want to go home. I can't stand the any longer. in anger I ran to the woods not looking back. I ran and ran not looking or taking notice that my surroundings were changing.

I stumbled into a hole braking my hand and rolling crashing into trees and rocks until I slammed into a boulder. I blacked out right there.

I woke up to the smell of chicken. it smelled nice. I tried to get up but yelped in pain. everything hurt. a woman walked in holding a bowl of soup. "poor thing, look at you? how did you end up like this?" I looked down in shame. she smiled at me "you don't have to say it now. take your time." she gave the chicken soup in spoon fulls since my arm was broken and the other was badly wounded.

as I ate I could hear someone else getting closer. it was heavier then hers so I guess it was her husband. he walked in and stared at me intensely. I swallowed since his presence was intimating. "what's your name?" I answered him "Sasha" he kept staring at me with doubt. "what pack and what were doing so far in the forest?" I clutched the blanket "I ran away." he sighed at my response. his wife looked at me with pity. "well lucky we found you or else you would have been dead. stay as long as u need. " I nodded my head she was right.

2 months went by and wounds were healed. I got to know my nurse and her husband. it was Emily and Ray. I would help Emily as I could and tried to converse with Ray. I felt comfortable here and felt happier than I dad at home. what I don't understand is why they live so far from there pack. maybe I'll find out someday.

while I was watering the plants Emily walked out. she looked nervous and upset. "you could go back if you like." she sound upset as she said it but then she quickly cheered up. "or you could live with us!" I was shocked I never once thought of leaving. I like it here and I feel much more relaxed here then home. "I never once thought of leaving." I stated to her. she beamed happy from my choice. Ray had walked from behind me to her side. she smiled. this calls for pie.

as they walked in the house I stated fishing the plants. honey she says. "do u think our son would like her? I think I want to adopt her as my duaghter." she smiled sweetly as she looked at the girl who worked hard outside smiling and humming to plants. her husband stayed quiet as he thought of her proposal.
