Episode 1 the trap is set
The room is dark, with a single bulb hanging overhead. Daniel is tied to a chair, his face bruised. Ethan stands across from him, arms crossed, a cold smile on his lips.
Ethan
(mocking tone)
Well look who we have here. The great Daniel, finally in my hands. What does it feel like, huh? To be on the other side of the table for once?
Daniel doesn’t answer right away. His eyes scan the room, looking for any way out. But he knows it’s futile. Ethan’s men have done their job he’s trapped. He shifts slightly in the chair, testing the ropes. The tension in the air is thick, but Daniel doesn’t let it show.
Daniel
(gritting his teeth)
You think tying me up will make a difference, Ethan? You know I’ll escape. I always do.
Daniel
You’re not going to get away with this, Ethan. You think tying me up makes you the winner? You’re pathetic.
Ethan
Me pathetic hahaha you should watch your mouth because your life is in my hand sweetheart
Ethan
(smirking)You don’t even realize it, do you? You’ve been playing this game for years, Daniel. And now… well, now I’m the one with the upper hand.
Ethan steps forward, his footsteps echoing in the silence. His voice drops to a more dangerous tone, a hint of something darker in his words.
Ethan
(with a cold smile)
You always thought you were one step ahead of me, didn’t you? But this time... this time I’ve got you exactly where I want you.
Daniel narrows his eyes, his heart racing slightly, but his expression remains impassive. He’s not going to give Ethan the satisfaction of seeing him worried.
Daniel
(calmly)
And what exactly do you want from me, Ethan? You know this war doesn’t end with one stupid kidnapping. What’s your play here?
Ethan steps closer, his gaze never leaving Daniel.

Daniel

Ethan

Daniel feels a jolt in his chest. The words hit him harder than he expected. He blinks, confused, unsure whether to believe what he’s hearing. Ethan’s expression hardens as he steps even closer, now mere inches away from Daniel.
Ethan
Ethan: (leaning in close, his voice a dangerous whisper)
How did I fall into your trap, Daniel? You’ve been a thorn in my side for so long. But now I realize... maybe I was the one trapped all along.
His mind races, trying to process what Ethan has just confessed. The hatred, the rivalrythey were never just about business, were they?
Daniel
This is crazy... You can’t be serious you're joking right?
Ethan leans in further, his lips barely brushing against Daniel’s ear as he speaks, his voice a mixture of longing and bitterness.
Ethan
(quietly)Oh, I’m serious, Daniel. I don’t know how it happened... but I’ve been caught in your web, and now... now I can’t get out.
Am I dreaming?
The air between them crackles with tension. Daniel’s heart beats faster, and his chest tightens.
Daniel
.....is this a dream
Daniel
No it can't be... this is not a dream it's a nightmare
Daniel
Yeah.... because you look like a ghost from every nightmare
The idea of Ethan—his enemy, the man he’s fought against for so long—feeling this way about him seems impossible, yet it feels so real. Daniel’s mind spins as he tries to process it all.
Daniel
(breathing heavily, voice shaky)
I never... I never wanted this. I never wanted you.
Ethan’s gaze sharpens, and he tilts Daniel’s chin up, forcing him to meet his eyes.

Ethan
(gritting his teeth, voice low and dangerous)I never asked for this either, but here we are. You think I want to feel this way? You think I wanted to fall into your trap?
Daniel swallows hard, his pulse racing as he tries to make sense of everything. Ethan’s words hang in the air, mixing with the palpable heat between them. There’s a moment of silence breath, a heartbeat, a shared understanding.
