The story begins on a rainy evening. Jasmine, 19, is sitting on the edge of her dorm bed, staring at a half-packed suitcase
Her phone vibrates on the desk, displaying a series of missed calls from “Mom.” She hesitates, then flips it over, silencing the buzzing.
Camille bursts through the door, drenched from the rain, carrying a box of takeout. She plops down dramatically on Jasmine’s bed and teases her about the suitcase.

You running away, Jas? Or are you finally taking that leap you keep talking about?
Jasmine
well.. I mean.. how could I possibly
Tears form in her eyes as the frustration and guilt of leaving everything behind grows stronger

Camille points to the suitcase fully loaded and packed sitting on her bed across from jasmines

Jasmine glances at a flyer pinned to her corkboard: Study Abroad Program – Tokyo, Japan. The idea has been simmering in her mind for weeks, but fear has held her back.

As the rain intensifies, Camille convinces Jasmine to come to a nearby café

Jas…sometimes, you just have to run, even if you don’t know where you’ll land. The trick is to keep going until you find somewhere that feels like home.

The two girls laugh and sit back into their seats

It’s not overthinking. It’s… preparation.

It’s just… What if I hate it? What if I don’t belong there either? It’s a big step, Camille.
Camille leans back, sipping her coffee thoughtfully.

You know what’s scarier than taking a big step? Staying stuck where you don’t want to be. Trust me, you’ll regret not trying more than you’ll regret going
Jasmine
You sound like you’ve done this before.
Camille
Maybe I have. Or maybe I just know what it’s like to want to run and not have the guts to do it.
Jasmine looks up, her expression softening.

You’re really coming with me?!
Camille
You think I’m letting you go to the land of sushi, cherry blossoms, and Harajuku boys without me? Please. Besides, I’ve got my own reasons for a change of scenery.
Jasmine

Jasmine chuckles, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement.

Jasmine and Camille laugh and struggle to close overstuffed suitcases in their dorm room. Jasmine carefully folds her favorite book into her luggage, while Camille shoves random outfits into her bag without a second thought.
They say goodbye to friends and professors. Jasmine hesitates when calling her mom, ultimately leaving a voicemail explaining her decision.
At the airport, the two stand in line with their tickets in hand, nervous but excited. Camille snaps selfies while Jasmine checks and re-checks their travel documents.
.Flight to Tokyo: A shot of their plane lifting off into the clouds, followed by Camille peeking over at Jasmine mid-flight, grinning mischievously.
The plane lands in Japan. Jasmine and Camille step into the bustling Narita International Airport, wide-eyed as they take in the unfamiliar sights and sounds.
Camille immediately gets distracted by vending machines, while Jasmine looks out at the city lights in the distance.
Camille
So, what’s first? Sushi or adventure?
Jasmine notices people walking by staring at them
Camille her expression shift from excitement to concern

The two had been staying in a hotel not to far from the college campus
The next morning they participate in a local orientation to get acquainted with the campus, city, and support services.
They attended their first classes on their first day to get acquainted with college professor’s
After a long day of college and getting settled into dorms they’re finally able to relax in their new dorms
