Juni Larson : Main protagonist of the story. She loves roses and have a plant at her home. Her hobbies are painting and poetry. She is very pessimistic and easily gets stressed out.

Calvin Larson : Juni's elder brother who is a famous painter. He is very stubborn and optimistic, unlike his sister Juni.

Nina and Nathan Bruno : Twin brother and sister in the neighborhood, the only friends of Juni.

Miss Lin : Juni's art teacher at school. She is very fond of her and tries every method to motivate her and help her in her paintings.

Mr. Vale : Juni's class teacher. He is old and usually sleep during the class.

Jimmy Eller : Calvin's friend who likes Juni since childhood, but never brought his true feelings.

Ginny Ferraro : Juni's classmate who is jealous of her due to higher grades. She tries everything to embarass Juni in the school.

James Hamilton : Juni's favourite idol, whom she adores a lot.

It was a bright sunday morning, the sun rays covering my whole balcony. On sundays I wake up early so I can enjoy the whole day. My brother Calvin was at home lying on the brown leather couch at the centre of our drawing room. Since he is an artist, he is usually busy in creating different sculptures for clients. But, today he was free. I went to the balcony which was just at the end of our drawing room. I love roses a lot, so I planted some in my balcony. I was holding a pitcher in my hands for watering the plant, my beautiful blooming red roses. On watering, the tiny droplets on its petals reflecting the bright sunrays seemed to be shining as diamonds on it. If you see, you might want to pluck all those beautiful roses embroidered with diamonds. After watering the flowers, I too lied on the couch where Calvin was. I was resting, while he began "You do like roses."I was like "Yeah." Then, he informed me that his friend Jimmy was coming from US. I enquired whether it was Jimmy Eller with whom they used to play in their childhood. The moment he said yes, I went jumping on the couch like a festival was coming and I was about to get many gifts. He, then went changing his clothes into a casual summer tshirt and pants to pick him. I too started cleaning the house for him. I was almost done when the bell rang, I thought it might be Jimmy and Clavin. I went to the door, there was a short man with his tummy coming out asking for Ms. Mia. I told him that she lived next door and he went away. I was upset and was about to continue cleaning, again the door bell rang. There was tall, handsome blonde with short hair and good features. I was so mesmerized that I couldn't ask him his name. Suddenly, my brother came and introduced that he was Jimmy. I couldn't believe as he was very short and used to have long hair. The Jimmy I knew was a big man know. How could I pat his head like then, how could I stretch his cheeks like then. I was very nervous but he was very calm. In a soft gentle voice he whispered in my ear "Won't you allow me to come in?" I blushed. My face became red. For a moment, everything became still. Like a shock, silence surrounding the whole scene.......
