"High school students are really stupid" said Ruth an average looking girl with black curly hair, fair complexion and dark brown eyes to Bella a popular figure among students not only in her own school also every other in town

Ruth was a simple girl with a high interest in studies and sports ,you name it she plays it 'she gets it from her dad'. But nothing captivated her as much as food did , she lives for it she says . She was physically fit but not much skinny. She led a very simple life while keenly focused on getting into MIT and hated having distracted from her dreams due to which she never dated and was ****** as hell on a contrary Belle her childhood neighbour and best friend changed her dates like changing clothes. She never needed to approach anyone she attracted that much attention everyone swooned over her she was tall with perfect face, red hairs and blue eyes. Inspite dating every now and then she was never a slut and never abandoned her best friend for boys. They were walking down the hallway to the lockers for getting ready for the last period taking the essential things for the class they moved towards the science room both having almost same time table except Ruth had gym as an additional while Belle had music class. Mr Brendon enters the class slightly after Ruth and Belle, he soon after the bell rings started to teach about the titration method and Ruth being herself started taking notes as seriously as ever. Mr Brendon looks around realising everyone was either sleeping or looking here and there for avoiding answering to such simple question "very well then Miss Harrison you go on please" Ruth opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by someone slamming the door loudly...really loudly. Annoyed Ruth moved her attention there and saw a boy ..observing him while frowning deeply she noticed he had brown hairs, light brown eyes,tall ,straight structure

'He plays sports' thought Ruth seeing his athletic body, everyone else shifted their attention toward the new boy who was holding a small chit of paper probably his time table " That was quite an entry Mister-" " Adrian Brown. And sorry it happened by mistake. Sorry to disturb your session" Adrian said apologetically to Mr Brendon who resumed to his session after asking Adrian to take his seat next to the window at last corner of the room. " He is Hot Af" whispered now awake Belle to Ruth who just frowned deeper than before. " pinkish" yelled Ruth " the answer Mr Brendon" " as expected of you Harrison" said Mr Brendon smiling while revealing his wrinkles around his eyes Ruth smiled back on his comment. Soon after the bell ranged Ruth packed her bag while Bell ogled on the new Adrian boy who was rushing out of the class " Earth to Belle ...and i know for a fact soon enough he would be head over heels for you, just need to tell him your name" " Nahh.. i don't want him.. guys like them are only meant for staring .... Beside i have a teeny weeny crush on someone" Belle confesses while making an exited sound also smiling goofily Ruth eyes widened " You have a crush on someone!!!!!! Wait who is he or maybe a she wait it is a he right ? And what about your current boyfriend is he aware or is he the one you have a crush on .. Omg YOU ARE IN A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP and for **** sake i don't even remember his name" " Man you said everything in a single breathe how do you do that.... well anyway Yes he is a he and he is not my boyfriend and even my boyfriend is not my boyfriend anymore....I dumped him yesterday and I told you about that in the morning" "Haha... you did" answered Ruth awkwardly while streching 'did' " yah... seriously Ruth anyway, to the topic his name is Will Carter, he is sophomore in NBT university doing major animation course i met him in the party last Saturday which you ditched otherwise you would have seen him" Belle the continued with her swooning over Will till the time they made it to the exit ." How does anyone even get to know they like someone .. i mean i like you but how is it different from you liking Will" Ruth asked confused , her practical approach towards everything made her dense to an extent where she believed that love is nothing but chemicals in brains making one stupid and that she can control these emotion unlike anyone. Their way to their home was just them chit chatting about stuff like music and people's life. They reached home around 3 o'clock in afternoon and bid their goodbyes. As soon as Ruth reached the door she was greeted by white healthy Labrador " Sumo ... my love  i missed you" Ruth started petting and then playing with sumo while he licked the life out of her hand. Sumo was gifted to her when she was eight years old. Her mother bought him for her on her birthday and since then she took him as no less than a family member. " He is a lucky one to get all your attention while i am also standing here since forever" Ruth looked up to see her most favourite human in the world " Come on dad.. you came downstairs just now after listening to his bark otherwise you won't even notice if someone breaks into our home" Ruth said smilingly while dropping her weight on the sofa. Ruth's dad David Harrison became her everything after her mom died due to cancer after her eleventh birthday. Since then her father took incharge of everything in their life he supported her in difficult times and cheered her up in her winning moments. He worked as an government police officer and was proud of  his post and duty he served. "Lady no one breaks in a house of a policeman ... don't you know that" Ruth smiled while seeing her father dressed in an uniform she asks " Are you going to perform your duties policeman?" " Yes The nation calls for my service lady and the foods in the oven , give sumo his share , practice your piano and don't dare to sleep in the middle of your studies , Now i will be going i am late as it is.Buh-bye" " ok dad and bye dad". David leaves leaving Ruth all alone in her house. Ruth was was busy eating her food suddenly her peace was interrupted by loud noise of truck honk and it getting parked in the neighbouring house , Ruth curiously moves towards the window in the kitchen to see a family moving in the house right next go hers. " Shit we will have to socialise with stranger and i was planning on buying that house in the future"says she now listening to sumo barking at someone ringing the bell ' **** they are here really early what should i do' thought Ruth on her way to open the door as soon as she opens the door she sees .....

"Hey Ruth" Belle said welcoming in herself

"we just met like an hour ago and now I don't even have things to tell you so you might shoo yourself back to your house Belle" which was on right next to hers " Yeah sure but i just thought of ordering pizza for dinner and thought you might as well join us.. well what can i say since you don't want to..guess i will go back "says Belle not even moving an inch from her position " on second thoughts you are welcomed in your majesty" seeing how easily she makes herself at home she smilies. Turning  on the TV they both lay on the sofa comfortably  watching silently. Quite after some time Ruth speak up " we got new neighbours and i have noticed they got a really cute daughter. She is around eight or so and congratulations you got someone to meet your mental age" " And you got someone have hots for haha she is just a kid you know try dating someone your age" Belle replied " Ewww Belle leave the kid alone"

" That's what i should say to you" Belle said laughing at her own comment " I have also heard there is a handsome hunk in the family. And he is around our age" "wow and you got the date of the month" Ruth sarcastically exclaimed " I told you I won't date anyone now i will chase after the one i like" "Does he even know your name?" "Of course he does we exchanged glances at the party" " Seriously what the hell ! did you tell him your name with your eyes ?" " How Did You Know!?" Belle said while faking gasp " you are grossing me out with your cringeworthy statements" Ruth says while wrinkling her nose " anyway he might have looked up my name besides everyone knows who i am at least everyone in that party knew ,so there is a possibility he knows my name" pointed out Belle " Yeah if only he was interested which is like thirty percent considering that he only looked at you like three to four times" says Ruth "thirty percent is a lot for us to happen" Belle said dramatically Both Belle and Ruth got distracted from their conversation as they heard bell ring and Sumo again started barking. Ruth goes to the door to see the neighbour's daughter she had brown hair and brown eyes and looked familiar "Hey there" Ruth says politely to the girl " Hi i am Alice, and my mom asked me to make friends with everyone" said Alice in a very cute and singing tone " of course we will make great friends, do you want yo come in Alice ?"  Alice nodded innocently while being excited as well , Ruth leads Alice to sofa where Belle was laying who did not move an inch since the beginning " Awwww .....where did this angel come from?" Belle says while getting up and pulling Alice into a hug and kissing her cheek then pinching them softly Alice giggled she introduced herself the same way  she did as before,later both the grown ups introduced themselves as well. They enjoyed each other's company until it was 7 o'clock in the evening. Alice asked Ruth for dropping her off at her home as it was dark outside and that she was afraid to walk alone, Belle stayed home for preparing the dinner that she had ordered and Ruth went with Alice '**** will have to socialise' thought Ruth looking at Alice now tried from all the playing and yawning widely . They reached Alice's house porch Ruth notices a poodle sleeping in his dog house " you have a dog?" "Yes,My brother brought him he was abandoned by his previous owner" "This dog is lucky and you have a brother?" Asked Ruth " yes she does have a brother" Ruth heard a voice from behind and flinched a bit to see a boy her age and she have seen him " The new boy Adrian." Ruth said her voice coming out really low almost like a whisper "Cookie!!" squealed Alice now jumping into his arm and he lifts her up " Cookie meet Ruth my new friend" Alice said pointing out at Ruth "Nice to meet you Cook-.. uh.. i mean Adrian the new boy" " Nice to meet you to Ruth" Adrian says smiling charmingly which certainly did not have any effect on Ruth who stood simply smiling " and no pointing Alice" says he while lowering Alice hand " Sorry" Adrian then again smiled at Alice and tickles he, she giggled " well i gotta go" Speaks Ruth after seeing their brother-sister moment, "Oh okay.." Adrian says letting Alice down " Bye Ruth" said Alice going into the house and she closes the door. Ruth turned towards the main entrance and was stopped by Adrian " See you at the school  i guess .. at least in science" winking at her as she frowns " yeahh .. is there something wrong with your eyes?!" says Ruth awkwardly hating to have socialising with a stranger, Adrian denied and waited in the porch as Ruth exited bewildered by her not being charmed by him and running away from him as soon as possible he smiled to himself at her behaviour 'Cute' he thought and then went back in his new home. Ruth went straight to her home and was greeted with pizzas, A wide smile spread on her face "Pizza!!!" She screamed excitedly and gobbled a huge piece " It isn't running anywhere, slow your horses down" Belle said laughing at her action "Hehe" After both of them was full with pizza, they started to do their homework  and after an hour of silence Ruth told Belle about what happened at Alice's house "........ and then he said see you in school and then something went into his eyes, then i came here" "what went?" " some dirt i guess he winked his eyes twice i asked if there is something wrong, then he denied"  Ruth said thinking about the incident " Omg for **** sake take a hint...there was nothing wrong with his eye *sighs* i am telling you you are dying single" Belle said " whats wrong now what did i miss?" Ruth Exclaimed innocently  " Nothing i am going back its getting late" Belle said too tired to explain her for god knows which-th time " Bye i guess" says  Ruth locking the door . Around 10 o'clock her dad came back after him relaxing she told him about everything that happened today " you are as dense as your mother kiddo" her dad says smiling and hugging her " why does everyone keeps saying that" Ruth asked poutingly.
