A village is being attacked by a demon. The houses are burning. A group of men tried attacking the demon with farmer's scythes and machetes, but those did not work at all. A demon can only be killed with an enchanted weapon. Though, normal weapons can slow them down, but that won't stop them. The Demon breaks the blade of their weapons using only his hand. The Men were shook after he had done that. The Demon grabs one of the men and throws him unto the burning fire. The Man is dancing on fire. He spins around in great panic, and later, he died. Then, with his creepy voice, he shouts, "Humans! What a disgusting race!" and then he growls. He stomps one of the men on the ground with his dirty big foot. The Man cries and screams for help.

Later, out of the shadow, while the demon has his foot on the man, a blade suddenly been thrown to his neck. He bleeds; he quickly takes off the throwing blade from his neck. "What the hell?" he said, then he looks around. "Who throws this thing to me? Show yourself!" he shouted in anger.

Then, a man appears from the black smoke emitted by the burning structures. His hair is messy and black; his eyes are sharp and dark gold; a little bit pointed-nose, and thin lips. He wears leather outfit and a grey-feathered cloak that also covers his neck. He has a well-proportioned body type.

While he is walking towards the demon, he spins his dual daggers.

The Demon's neck does not stop from bleeding. "What did you to me? What is in that blade?" he said with the tone of both anger and fear.

The Man walks closer to the demon. The Demon cannot move. He fell on his knees down to the ground.

"You think you're strong?" the man said, then he spins his dagger and points it to the head of the demon.

"GRAAGGH!" the demon cries in pain.

Then, without mercy, he pierces his dagger through the skull of the demon. Blood bursts out from his head after that. Later, the body of the demon started to burn in fire. The Man then draws out the dagger from his skull. People felt relieved after that. The Body of the demon turned into ash. They ask the young man, "Who are you?"

The Young Man, however, did not respond to their question. He quickly set out by jumping very high away from them. The People tried to follow him, but they cannot catch up to his speed. The Young Man travels by jumping over from tree to tree. He moves like wind.

After a while, the young man arrived in an underground hideout. The Underground Hideout is a base for demon hunters. Demon Hunters would go in the hideout to rest, study, train, and all other things. The Young Man stands in front of the door and he said, "K-28."

"*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* K-28. Confirmed..." the automatic security lock door said.

It then scans the young man's body using a red laser. Then he proceeds on going inside. As he enters, his friend, Leo, greets him.

"Hi Kei! It's been a while. What happened these past few days?" he said.

"As always, hunting demons." the young man replied.

"Well, Betty prepared a good dish for you. Come to her and eat. You must be hungry already."

"Thanks Leo." then Kei goes further inside.

He went to his room and take a rest. He sits on his chair, and have a look on the picture of he and his loving Mother. That made him smile, but deep inside, he is sad. Then, someone knocks on to his door saying, "Kei? I brought you your dinner. Open the door."

Kei then walks towards to his door to open it, and he saw Vincent, his comrade and bestfriend.

"Are you alright?" Vincent asked.

"I am. Don't worry. Come inside." Kei replied.

Vincent comes inside his room and sits on the chair, while Kei eats the dinner on his desk.

"Have you also heard about the news?" Vincent questioned.

"Heard what?"

"Another kingdom had fallen. Kei, this world is getting more dangerous. The numbers and strength of demons are rapidly and continously ballooning. Sooner or later, we, demon hunters, cannot counter them anymore."

"So?"

"The Demon Hunting Council had strengthened the Headquarters and decided to build more academies for new generation of demon hunters." Vincent added.

Kei is just listening to him while eating his food.

"And... one more thing. I think this is very important to you."

"What is that?"

"The Overlord of demons, Drakat, finally showed himself."

Kei stops on eating, he puts his spoon and fork onto his plate. "Where is he?"

"He was last found in the kingdom Shira. As expected, he slaughtered almost all of the people in there. Even the highest-ranked demon hunters in Shira weren't able to match his power. That is just how powerful he is."

"I will defeat him myself someday. That Demon is the one behind the death of my loving mother. I will never let him escape!" Kei said.

"Kei, it was not proven that Drakat is the one who killed your mother. Don't be silly." Vincent replied.

"Whatever, he's still the reason why there are demons in here."

"Okay then. Tomorrow, I will join you."

"By the way, how many demon hunters are in here right now?"

"24? I'm not sure. They are all in their rooms."

"Okay then. Can you tell Leo to get me a bottle of anti-demoblood?"

"Sure. Enjoy your dinner." then Vincent stands up and exits the room.

Now that Kei learned about the show up of Drakat, his will to get the Devil's head heats up. Afterall, that is his only reason why he had became a demon hunter in the first place. He rushed on eating his food to write down the infos on his notes. After that, he went on to his bed to sleep.
