Florian was waiting at the airport for Matt.”hey! Over here!” Florian turned around and saw Matt “hey man long time no see” Matt gave him a soft smile and said “yeah”.

Both of them together went to the school “this is the building” Matt said showing Florian the school’s big glass doors, bit Florian was looking at a cat with teo different eye colours,he was so focused that he didn’t notice Matt talking to him. He was like hypnotised. “Hey! Are you even listening?!” Matt said angrily “Ah yes sorry” he said.

Florian was now on his own since Matt had another class. So Florian was waiting at the office’s door to speak to the director when a voice interrupted the silence “hey what did you do to end up here?” Florian looked up and saw a tall guy standing in front of him “I-i uh actually nothing I’m new here-“ the guy smirked and said “well, in that case. I’m Riu nice to meet you” Florian looked into his green eyes feeling weird, “I’m Florian nice to meet you too”. A man called Florian into his office and Florian entered. “So you’re the new student?” The director said calmly “yes indeed” Florian looked up at him “Florian, right? I’m mr.Brightfield” he said “nice to meet you mr.Brightfield”.

After the talk with mr.Brightfield Florian went to his next class, p.e. “Hey! Florian!” a familiar voice shouted from behind “Hey Riu” said Florian quite excited to be in the same class as Riu.

“So cool we are in the same class!” Riu said excited,”yeah!” Florian responded. After P.E they went to the cafeteria to eat something. Riu was really sweet and took Florian everywhere with him just that Riu’s friends didn’t like Florian as much as he did.

One night after Florian’s night shift at his part time job he saw a black cat with gorgeous green eyes like Riu’s the cat approached Florian slowly. The cat meowed as if it wanted food, Florian still had a bit if his ham sandwich so he gave the cat the ham in it. The cat looked at him with gratitude and left with the piece of ham.

Than a message from Riu arrived (they exchanged numbers),

So Florian made his way to the xxx cafe. There he saw Riu waiting at a table watching his phone,”boo” Riu quickly turned around “oh! It’s just you!” Florian couldn’t help but giggles a bit. They ate some ramen and talked a lot. “Oh no! Look at the time Riu, it’s really late” Riu looked at his watch “Oh no! You’re right I really need to go” they both left. Florian had a very good time that night and hoped he’ll be able to do that again.

The next morning when Florian arrived at school he saw some shady looking guys in a corner in a circle, when he took a closer look he saw Riu in a middle of them with scars over his face and a big one right next to his eye. Florian quickly ran towards them and pushed one of them away “what are you guys doing?!” He shouted at the guys. “You got yourself in trouble you little smurf” said one of the guys, Florian felt scared but he was decided “ I don’t care about what you’re gonna do to me but don’t hurt Riu” the guy smirked and pushed Riu away “ alright than” he said with a big smile. “Florian don’t!” Riu said but the other guys blocked his sight. Than the guy who was hurting Riu stood in front of him with a knife “let’s get you a matching scar with Riu” and than he cut a scar into Florian’s face. Than he let go of him and left with his minions. “Are you okay?!” Riu asked him histerically “yeah I should be asking you that” he looked into Riu’s eyes and could feel his pain. The bell rung and they went to make a visit to the nursery, “ omg guys what happened to you two??” The nurse asked, “uh we got attacked by a dog on our way here” the nurse looked at the feeling suspicious. She gave them bandades and a medication that will help relieve the pain and with that she let them go. “Sorry we are late” Florian said to the teacher, “what happened you two?” The teacher asked them politely,” we got attacked by a dog and went to the nursery” Riu answered to the teacher “ that’s a lie! I saw them in the back of the school with some punks!” Some girl said in the back, it was Lisa, the most annoying girl in the world she had a huge crush on Florian too. “What punks? What were their names?” The teacher asked “ w-we don’t know” Florian said, “okay sit down first we’ll handle this later” and the class continued.

After school Riu and Florian went back together,” Riu I told you I’ll be fine” Florian said “I know but just to make sure” Riu said not taking a no as an answer.

Florian gad to accept his request so he decided to make the best out of it even though he was quite surprised of Riu’s kindness despite that they met a few days ago. On their way home Lisa approached them, “hey Florian I’m sorry for what those mean punks did to you!” She said with the cutest voice she could’ve made.”Thanks for caring but why did you tell the teacher?" Riu said “ I wasn’t talking to you” Lisa said rudely to Riu, “ well uh, I guess thanks for caring but please don’t tell something like that to the teacher again” Florian said, “okay!” She responded with a sweet voice and walked away.
