"Happy Birthday! My princess! " , my mom and dad shouted at the same time pulling the blanket off me. " Thank you Momma and Dadda! ", I shouted as a big smile made it's way on my lips."So you are actually pretending  to be asleep and here I was wondering how long it would be before you wake up" , momma said crossing her arms. "Yes Momma I don't wanna be a sleepyhead at this precious moment. It's so rare for you both to spend time at home with me, so how can I miss such opportunity?", I said while getting down . The very moment their faces became pale. "Oh momma , don't worry . I know you are busy at work and I am happy that you always stay with me whenever you can . I don't blame you . But I will if you are sad at this time" , I said dragging them outside my room.

  The hall is fully decorated with blue balloons and.................blue???..................blurrr...........

  No!!!!!!!!!! Momma!!!! Dadda!!!!!..........Searching for their dead bodies in the smoke .....

  Noo!!.. Anu don't leave me ..you are only one that I have. noo.....

  "c'mon girl, I will take good care of you . You just need to be obedient and grow up", he said while his hands made their way to my waist and slowly down my back.....

 " You are a curse . You will only bring death to the people around you"...........

  Momma !     Dadda!

 I suddenly woke up.Huff ..huff..huff..This nightmare.

I looked at the clock on the table beside my bed . 3:35 am . I got up and went to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I am a disaster. Sweat formed like a blanket on my forehead , my breath uneven, eyes mirroring pain and clouded with tears. I quickly washed my face, completed morning activities and went  to cool myself under shower. The cool water running down my body relaxed my muscles.I lowered my head under the shower and looked at my pendant. This is my last memory with them. That day......tears started forming in my eyes . No I should not cry. I quickly completed my bath . Wearing gym outfit I rushed to the basement.

  There is old and broken stuff everywhere. I walked past that trash and I put my hand on an old telivision screen. A digital screen appeared on the wall. The secret door opened when I type the password. Walking past the material room I went to my training room. Wearing the gloves I stood in front of punchbag.This is the way to calm down my anger on those bastards.

  First punch. Do you think I will become your toy ? huh? Second punch . Do you think you can abuse me as you like? Third punch. Do you think I am a weakling who you can bully as you like huh!!? I shouted loudly imagining my bloody uncle Surendra and gave all my power to my hand and punched the bag. With that the bag collapsed on the ground. Changing the punchbag I did the same again and again .After a long time venting my anger on it I decided to continue my work on the new mission.

 I went into the opposite room where all the confidential information is kept. It is highly secured and only two persons have access into it. Me and Arvind. I sat on the couch placing my laptop on the table. I sorted the photos and papers I kept on that table.Looking into the mail Jasmine had sent me , I can understand that this target is hard to deal with.He is the most powerful man in the whole city and king of drugs.How to deal with him?? An idea stroke in my mind . I arranged the pictures and the files in order and packed them as a file. Beating a tough opponent gives me satisfaction and I can also have some stuff to beat into pulp.Thinking of me beating this bastard who ruined the lives of many makes me excited.

   I came to my room and placed the file in my bag . I looked at the clock.6:28 am. I changed into some casuals and went into the kitchen. I made idli and chutney for myself and placed them on the dining table. Then I went out to buy milk packet. While returning home I noticed aunt Asha making a fuss outside her house.She is the one I hate most in this neighbourhood. She always gets on my nerve. And she teamed up with that bastard Surendra and..forget it. I have to get ready for college.

I wore a blue plain shirt and black jeans after a hot water bath. I ate the breakfast I cooked and drank a glass of milk.Taking my bag I made sure to switch off all the appliances and came out. I locked the main door.As I started walking from my house to the bus stop I am thinking about my mission.Suddenly I bumped into someone.Ouch. I looked at the person infront of me.Karthik?

"Karthik?", I asked with a shock. "I am glad you remember me, Anu " , he said , his eyes glowing with happiness. Ah! Anu...... "Don't call me like that just call me Ananya. And I am leaving or I may miss the bus", I said in a single breath. " Hey wait! Why are you..." I didn't listen to his words. He was my bestfriend four years ago. Yes damn four years ago he went to America for studies and his mom that oldhag Asha continued her schemes. Anyhow she will not allow him to be my friend now and who cares?

I went to the bus stop and stood there waiting for the bus .There is a girl who already there waiting for the bus. She is physically handicapped. But her face shows how confident she is in herself. Hmmm , I like persons like that. I am checking my inbox if any information about my mission is sent. No . There is no message.Then I suddenly heard a noise.

Some boys are making fun of this disabled girl.She is defending herself.I went to stand beside her and said , "Hey! Long time no see ! How are you?" I can say she is shocked as well as the boys. I continued, "And they are?" and pointed towards them. One of them who is taller than the other three spoke, "Hey girl! You look ho..". I didn't give him chance to finish his words when I grabbed his wrist and twisted his arm back his torso and he yelled in pain. Other boys are shocked to see him in pain since he is the most powerful in their group. A boy suddenly spoke, "I remember! C'mon run guys . She is Ananya!". With that he ran away and other two followed him. The one in my hold begged me and I let him go giving a warning to break his arms if any incident like this happens.

The girl beside me is shocked as hell." It's alright, they won't come near you" , I said and immersed in my phone. "Umm ... Thank you for that" ,she said looking down. " It's alright", I replied shortly. "Can I know why they are afraid of you, Ananya ?" , she asked. "Not a big deal. I usually break the limbs of those who piss me off like this", I said . Meanwhile bus arrived . Both of us climbed inside it. Bus will always be full in the mornings . I found a seat and sat there. The girl stood beside me.She said, " I am Sarika". "Oh", is my reply.I pulled my laptop out and checking out my class schedule. The lady beside me started blabbering, "These kids now a days have become so selfish. They don't even have pity for those who are handicapped " . Oh , so she want me to give seat to the girl beside me. But this seat is not comfortable for her with these handles . I ignored this lady and continued checking my schedule.

Completing multiple courses at a time is so difficult but I have to do this. The lady beside me started again.And I stood up with rage and turned towards her , " My stop has come aunty. See ya.Oh by the way, I don't pity people like them because they deserve respect not pity", I said with a fake smile and walked out of the bus which stopped at the entrance of my university not caring for her response . Walking through the gate I made my way to the cafeteria to grab some chocolates. I heard some noises like whistles and 'ooooh s . I turned my head in that direction.

There is a Lamborghini coming towards the cafeteria. That stopped infront of the cafeteria and a handsome man in white T shirt and blue casual jeans with casual shoes emerged out from the driving seat. He is.... Oh damn! This guy didn't give up? Man!!! He started walking towards me and I ignored him eating my chocolate with crunches. He sat in the chair beside me and started his nonsense " Ananya , Tomorrow is my birthday and I hope for you to be present at the party". "Sorry, not interested ", I replied with a cold tone and got up making my way to the classroom." Please Ananya.Even though I am courting you for the past two years I got no reply. Just a party this time. Please do come please..", he begged following me outside the cafeteria. I looked at his car. I have seen it somewhere.... Yeah !My new target! But how come it's with him. They are related?

" Arhan , this car? ", I said. " You like it? It's my dad's",he said , his eyes glimmering hope. "Okay I'll come. Send me the address to my phone. You have my number, don't you?" I said . "Sure! Thank you!!" he said as a big smile made it's way on his lips. I went to my class and sat at my usual place.I sent a message to Jenna 'Check out the personal info of my new target and send it to my mail'. After sending the message I waited for the professor to come. After a 15 minutes he entered the class and started his lesson. The next classes also went as usual. Now it's break time for 50 minutes. I went to the library and sent Jasmine a message ' in the library '. I opened my notebook and went on with my preparation for upcoming exams.

I felt a hand on my shoulders. " Sit down Jazz", I said. She sat beside me and said, " God!! Can't you be more sensible? I want my friend to have some sentiments not coldness". I ignored her and continued my study. Sensible! my foot! This tiring half day has taken my energy......I have to eat something. I grabbed Jazz with me , " Let's have something. I am hungry", I said. " Yo! don't drag me like this . It's humiliating!!" , she shouted in my ear but I continued dragging her to the canteen.

Inside the canteen.

Dragging her along with me I entered the canteen. Taking empty plates we searched for our favorite food.Unfortunately, I found nothing I like. Jazz filled her plate with vegetable rice . I did the same since I have no other choice.Then we went to find a table to sit.But all the tables except one are fully occupied.And there is a person who sat on a chair .We started going towards that table.The person turned towards us and it's Arhan? Argh! What an unlucky day is today.

"I've reserved this table for you" , he said looking at me.Jazz immediately sat on the opposite side of him giving me a smirk.I shot her a glare from the corner of my eye and decided to sit. Just beside him. I sighed and started eating. "Umm..", he mumbled. " Want to say anything? ",I asked.He placed a gift pack on the table and said" It's for tomorrow"."It's your birthday tomorrow, not mine", I said.Damn it! I have to control myself!

Cool down ..Cool down.For the sake of the mission . I chanted in my mind.

" It's a dress for you. I hope you can wear it . Please...", he said and got up from the chair to leave. "Can I bring her?", I said pointing at Jazz." "Hey!wait I'm not",she started but cut off in the middle by him."Sure . See you tomorrow .I've sent the venue to your phone", he said and I can see him blushing. This person!! Urgh!

"Are you trying to get revenge on me. If you don't wanna go just say it to him. Don't drag me along. Okay? ", she said rising her pitch.I just ignored her. "Ignoring me?", she added." I'm done. I'm going to back to my class.Wait for me at the main block after classes",I said and rushed to my class." I won't!!!", she shouted.On my way to the class, I got some death glares and jealous looks.Must be because this damn gift pack.I went to the class and sat at my usual place.The classes went on as usual.

The college is finally over.I took my bag and that damn gift and started to the main block.A person suddenly appeared in front of me." What do you want , Sasha? Move!", I said in a commanding tone. " Don't you feel ashamed to seduce him like that?", she said mustering up confidence." And don't you feel ashamed since you failed to seduce your prince charming? ", I said mockingly. "You!",she shouted. "Shut up. I'm sure you won't like the consequences of pissing me off.Now, Move away", I said in a calm yet dangerous tone." Just you wait!" ,she said and ran away. Just what do all the girls see in him?! I looked at my watch .3:12pm.

I went to the main block and met Jazz."What about the birthday party?",she asked me."You will know when we go home", I said making my way towards the bus stop.She followed me.After half an hour we reached the stop . We started walking towards my house. I took her to my basement and into my secret chamber.

I opened the mail Jenna had sent me and let her read it."It means that he is the son of the king of drugs in the whole country and his mother is missing",she said and I nodded in response. "But what do you want to do? ",she asked me."Let me explain. At first I thought that this mission is easy and we can get him as long as we act according to my plan .That is to make a business deal with him at first and then catching him at perfect time. But the things are not that simple", I said."Not simple?", she gave me a questioning look. " From the information we have , he had never been attacked before.That means either he is way too powerful that others dare not provoke or the ones who attacked were wiped out. Whatever is the reason we can't act rashly at the moment. So I think we can get some information we want from his son.And you are gonna hack Arhan's phone while I keep him busy",I said."Okay",she said.

After a moment ,we sent a message to the office about this and went back to the living room."Let's go out and get some vegetables and other stuff needed for tomorrow", she suggested.I nodded and we both started from home to the market.A new family is shifting to the house next to mine. Maybe they are arranging their things but all the things appears as if they were bought just now from the showroom. Wierd."Just leave it",I said to myself.

After reaching the market we bought some veggies.Then we bought some technical stuff for Jazz and started walking to home.
