During the summer I went with my bestie for some shopping. If I was going to show the world that I am not the one I used to be, I needed a makeover.

I had a lot of pink clothes. I don't like them anymore. And I had a lot of skirts. Jesus Christ. I wonder what people thought of me. When I asked Jade, my best friend, she said that I looked like a little girl that believed in fairy tales, but I think that I looked innocent. Well, whatever.

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. It's the first day of school. After brushing my teeths and having a shower, I was standing in front of my wardrobe wondering what I should wear. After thinking about it for 5 minutes, I decided to wear a black tank top with some jeans jacket on top, some high waisted jeans and a pair of white sneakers. I looked beautiful. I packed my hair in a high puff and I wore my black glasses. I loved this glasses because with them, I didn't have to change to the sunglasses when it was sunny, the glass colour would change by itself.

I went downstairs to have breakfast. Mom was cooking pancakes, my brothers and my sister where on the table eating.

-Good morning mother.

-Good morning princess. Sit down and have breakfast with your brothers.-said mom.

-Hey, I'm a girl.-said Jane, my little sister.

-We know, you don't have to take everything so seriously.-said Kane her twin.

-You say that because you are a boy, you wouldn't understand what women pass through. If there was more girls than boys in this table and mom said "sisters" instead of "brothers". You would be offended right? So, don't argue with me about this kind of things.

Kane sighed defeated. Wow, each day her arguments are more reasonable.

I have an elder brother of 18, a sister of 14 and her twin brother of 14.

Axel and I looked at ourselves and laughed.

I sat between Kane and Jane, because, you don't know what could happen if they continue discussing.

While I was eating one of the pancakes, it came to my mind the last time that they had a discussion. Jesus Christ. Jane is more rebel than I thought. I remember that Kane was disgusted about the idea of men wearing skirt, that he only accepted the Irish tradition of men wearing skirt. After discussing about the matter for 10 minutes, Jane landed her fist in her twin face. Fortunately my parents weren't around to witness such terrible scene, so Axel stopped Jane and I went to check how Kane's face was. It wasn't that bad, his cheek was slight red coloured, but he was in so much pain. We told mom and dad that they were playing and that he hit his face on the wall while he was running.

I finished my breakfast, took my white school bag and rushed to the car.

-Hey, won't you drop the twins.-said Axel.

-I could drop them but, they are still eating and you have a car.-I said coming out of the house.

Yes babies, this lady has a car. I had a lot of free time during the summer, so I used the opportunity to get my driving licence. It was quite easy. It only took me two months.

I went to pick Jade. She is one year older than me. She's dark skinned. Today she has a sleek low ponytail. Her hair is quite long. When it's curly it reaches until her back. She's wearing a tight red dress, that's up to her knees, a black leather jacket and a pair of black trainers.

-Bae, are you ready for this year?-she asked.

-Yeah babe. Will you be with me through the remaining years of high school?

-Bitch, is that even a question? If I could, I would marry you.-I laughed at that comment.

-What's stopping you?

-Hmmm... You are straight, I am straight, we are straight. I really don't know.

-Okay, we've arrived. Come down.

-That was fast.-she said surprised, while she was coming down from the car.

-Obviously, I have a driving licence.-I said making emphasis in "driving licence".

-That those not have anything to do with how fast or slow you are.-she Sid pissed.

-Oh, I know. I just wanted to remember you that I have a driving licence and you don't.-I laughed and I went running to class, because she was chasing after me to hit me.

When I was about to enter, I hit myself with something or somebody.

-Watch where you are going!-said the person I hit myself with. I couldn't see him because my glasses fell, but I knew it was a boy by his voice.

-It's not my fault that a tower was blocking my view!

-I'm not tall, you are just too short.

-Well, whatever.-I said and I started searching for my glasses. Oh no, the impact was too much for the glasses and it broke.

-You see what you did?!

-I did? I wasn't the one running like a kid.- as he said so he entered the class.

-I wisn't thi ini rinning like a kid.- I took my phone from my pocket and called Jade. Yes, babies. This bitch has memorized her phone.-Hello, babe... I hit myself with an asshole and broke my glasses, so I can't see clearly... Yes, please. Would you do me the favour of bringing me my contacts?.. Thanks, love you...

I still had a little bit of time until the class started. Enough time for Jade to go to the car and collect my contacts. Yes, she has a copy of my car keys. Why? It's a long story. And yes, I have contacts. But I don't wear them because there are quite uncomfortable. I prefer to wear my glasses.

After 10 minutes Jade arrived. She gave me the contacts and she went running to her class because time was up. I think that she'll be a little bit late. Well, it doesn't matter. I put on the contacts, I put the broken glasses on my bag and I went inside the class. I sat down at a free sit that was on the last line next to the window. Perfect. I love that sit. I always try to get the sit in the last line, that is the 4th line, but, sometimes I am too late so I don't get the chance to select sits.

The teacher came in some minutes after I sat down, and he presented  to the class our new classmates. Normally, every year we have the same classmates (if they don't repeat or change of school).

-Good morning class, and welcome back to school. I hope you had a wonderful summer, because I had.-she said smiling. Woman, you are too old for those things.-Today we are having two new classmates. Charlotte and Liam Jackson. They are twins and they have newly transferred to this city. Be kind to them.

-Hi everybody. I'm Charlotte.-said smiley a mixed girl of long curly brown hair and light brown coloured eyes. I think that she's around my height, that is 5 feet and 4 inches. She's wearing a black long-sleeved turtle neck, a pair of light blue jeans and black boots. Wow, she's elegant. I like her, I hope that's she's not arrogant.-I'm sixteen and hope I can get along with every one.

-I'm Liam.-said a mixed boy of short curly brown hair with both of the sides of his head shaved and light brown eyes. He is around 5 feets and 8 inches. He would be a great basketball player. He's wearing a white hoodie with some letters writing on it "Bad Boy". That's kinda funny. He looks like a cinnamon roll. And, he's wearing black joggers and a pair of black Nike trainers.

-Okay kids, you can have your seats.-has she said they did. Charlotte sat a free sit next to my desk and Liam in the 2nd line.

I looked at Charlotte to notice that she was staring at me. She smiled and weaved her hand at me and I did the same. I took a little blue notebook I had in my bag and wrote: Hi, I'm Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. I know you may be thinking that I am strange since I'm passing you a notebook instead of a piece of paper but, I'll explain to you if you join to eat lunch later.

I passed the notebook to her, she read it, wrote on it and gave me back: That would be great :).

Finally, it's lunch time. Yes, we have lunch from the first day of school.

I went with Charlotte to the canteen. Jade reserved a table for us. She was sittting next to Andrey and Nicodème.

Audrey and Nicodème are brothers. Audrey is 16 and Nicodème 17, they're from France. Audrey is in the volleyball team and Nicodème in the basketball team. They get along quite well. They may have little fights every now and then but deep down, they love each other. Audrey has  brown short straight hair and icy blue eyes, same as Nicodème only that his hair was longer and it was in a low ponytail. Audrey was wearing a light blue hoodie with some joggers of the same colour and white Nike trainers. And Nicodème, was wearing an extra large black t-shirt, dark grey joggers and black Nike Air Jordan trainers.

-Hey guys, let me present you to Charlotte. Guys, Charlotte. Charlotte, Nicodème, Audrey and Jade

-What's up?- Jade said.

-Hello, beautiful.- Nicodème said.

-You are the new girl, right?- Audrey said.

-Yes, I think so. Nice to meet you. I hope we can get along.- Charlotte said ignoring Nicodème. I think that someone has a crush(UwU).

-Sorry bro.- I whispered to Nicodème.

-Sorry? About what?- he asked innocently.

-Nothing, nothing. I'm going to buy lunch.- I said and I went.

While I was waiting in the line, somebody pushed me. I was about to shout to the person, but he apologized.

-Sorry, I didn't see you.- he said. It was Liam. Apparently he was playing with his friends.

-Don't worry. It was a mistake.- I said with a smile.

-Wait, aren't you going to shout at me?-he said confuse.

-Why would I shout at you? It was a mistake, okay. And that's it.

-You didn't say that before.

-Before?- what is this man talking about? Is he mad? Or did he hit his head? Or did he mistake me with someone else?- It's my first time speaking with you.

-Don't you remember that you bumped into me this morning?

-Bumped into you?- I can't figure out what he's saying.

-What would you like to eat, young lady?- the canteen woman asked.

-Spaghetti, and a bowl of salad, please.

-Here you have.

-Thank you ma'am. Talk later Liam.

-Wait!- I don't have time to waste in stupid chats, he thinks that I don't know what he's trying to do. Tsk, it won't work.

When I reached the table, Nicodème and Audrey were gone.

-Babe, where are the boys?- I asked as I was sitting down.

-They finished eating and Nicodème wanted to play basketball so, he dragged Audrey along.

-Perfect.- I smiled devilishly.- Charlotte do you have a crush on someone.- I said as I turned to face her, same with Jade.

-No?- she said as I was eating my spaghetti.

-Was that a question?- Jade said.

-No?- she answered.

-Girl, don't lie to us. We saw how you completely ignored both Jade and Nicodème.

-I didn't do it purposely.- she said felling guilty.- Sorry.

-Hey, it doesn't matter. I understand. But don't try to hide the truth from us, either way we will discover it.- Jade said.

-It's truth. Especially this woman since  she is going to be detective. She will expose your secrets- I laughed.- Just kidding, but don't try yourself.

-Is she okay?- Charlotte whispered to Jade.

-No. She is crazy, so am I.- Jade said and we laughed.
