It was in winter when Madeline had received a letter from her grandma. therein she Asked her to come to visit her ‚ If she wanted to get what she asked her grandmother's for before . She had no other option but to go. The ship she was on board set sail for the Unknown land‚ It felt like it had been years since the last time the ship left the seashore ‚it makes noises as though it was sailing on a rough ground.
‚It was like a ghost ship moving towards the land of the dead‚Everything was squeaky‚ on the board of the ship‚The doors‚The deck. The bed Etc. She couldn't sleep. Furthermore‚ the sound of the waves hitting the sides of the ship . Had left her aghast. She left her room. All rooms doors were closed. No one was outside.
. In that thick fog she couldn't see anything else but complete greyness and desolation. Where was she ?! In which direction the ship was heading ? All she could hear were voices coming from the sea. Voices were asking for help and lullabies. She went her room again. The whole day she hadn't seen any single living being on the board of the ship‚ She was afraid to ask she was afraid to reply to those voices they were loud ‚Anyone could hear them Madeline tried hard to convince herself that it was all in her mind .only if it wasn't for the thing she wanted. She wouldn't have ever thought of traveling on that scary creepy horrifying ship. How long had it been since the last time she had seen her grandmother?! She couldn't remember ‚She couldn't remember anything at all‚ Her grandmother only condition to give her what she wanted was to visit her ..
Madeline She was raised by her grandmother. She had no idea where were her parents! Why they abandoned her? She was afraid to ask. To know the truth. She lived on the unknown island until she was 13 ‚ She couldn't remember how were her past 13 years with her grandma And why she was given away . No thrown away ‚She couldn't forgive nor forget how her so called family abandoned her to that abysmal grief and loneliness..
She had many questions to ask her grandmother. Would she be able to handle the truth. Her heart lurched in pain. And the tears welled up in her eyes.
"(Will I be able to face the truth?)” Madeline asked herself !
Those whispers were ringing in her ears all night. She could see the fog in her room. When her eyes were open and when her eyes were close.
Among those whispers‚ She heard a weeping woman sound coming from another room . She was reciting some kind of a prayer. Asking for forgiveness.
