"Large Cappuccino for Jack!" Keith announced after placing the cup on the counter. Soon the guy named Jack came over to grab his order then went out.

Keith glanced at the clock while working on another order, it's already 5:28, he silently cheered. It's nearly the cafe's closing time, he can finally rest!

"Vanilla Latte for Lane!" he announced once again after finishing the order. The girl named Lane also grabbed her coffee then proceeded to sit where she previously waited.

The cafe's door opened which triggered the bell, indicating that someone is coming or going out. Keith unconsciously looked at the person who opened the door, then all of a sudden, their eyes locked into each other. Keith seemed to froze after seeing such a handsome figure. The cafe became silent after the man's arrival, obviously captivated by his indifferent aura and insanely gorgeous figure.

Keith was the first one to recover, so he pretended to cough then avoided the man's gaze out of embarrassment.

"Good day sir, what can I get you?" Keith politely greeted the man and asked for his order when he arrived in front of the counter.

The crowd regained their consciousness and blushed at the sight of the man. The cafe was filled with the customers suppressed squealing and whispers.

"Large Americano." he uttered in a cold voice while staring at Keith's face, which made Keith uncomfortable. He then placed a card on top of the counter, a black card to be exact, which shocked and amazed Keith, that he quickly concealed.

"For whom sir?" Keith asked before swiping the card in the machine.

"Ace."

Keith's neck and ears slightly reddened at the man's— Ace gaze.

Keith cleared his throat and handed him his card. "You may find a vacant table to wait for your order, sir."

Ace nodded his head and went to a table at the corner to wait for his order.

Keith breathed a sigh of relief when Ace finally stopped staring at him. Keith then proceeded to work with Ace's order without noticing Ace's gaze.

After finding a seat, Ace continued staring at Keith who was currently working. Elijah. He uttered silently while staring. 'No, it can't be Elijah… Elijah's not that pale and petite.' he thought.

"Large Americano for Ace!" Keith announced when he finished the order. He once again glanced at the time, it's 5:42!

Ace headed to the counter to get his order while he stared at the man who resembles someone important to him, he then stared at the man's name tag located in his right chest. Keith, he read silently.

Keith, who proceeded to arrange his equipment, was unaware of Ace's stare.

Ace then decisively walked out of the cafe after knowing his name— Keith.

There were only a few people left when the clock struck at 5:55 since the customers know the cafe's closing time.

The cafe's staff then proceeded to clean up the tables, floors, counter, and the windows when the last customer went out.

Ah, I can finally rest. Keith sighed contently. He then walked towards the closet to change his uniform. Keith bid his goodbyes to his workmates after he changed to his casual clothes.

He was the first one to get out of shift since there are some staff that are assigned to clean the cafe.

Ace on the other hand, was at his company, dealing with paperwork as usual. But, he still hasn't made any progress at all. Something or someone's definitely bothering him.

Ace slammed the proposal he was currently reading as he sighed, it has been the fifth time he has read the proposal, yet nothing's going into his mind, except for that boy, Keith.

While Ace is completely preoccupied, his assistant was very puzzled. 'His boss was never like this! Is there something wrong with the proposal? Or was it too difficult for their boss to sign?' though he knew that this inner question of his will never get any answer from his boss.

He then mustered up the courage to clear his throat and ask his boss a question. "Is the contract unsatisfactory boss? Shall I send it back to the HR for revision?"

Ace glanced at his assistant coldly, which made his assistant slightly shiver. "There's no need for revision." he paused. "However, I need you to investigate Keith. The bartender who works at the nearest cafe. I need his information by the end of the day."

'Did he somehow offend the boss?' he questioned himself. "Yes sir!" he replied. Though he had many questions about the matter, he couldn't ask it out loud for the fear of losing such a good job by being nosy. So even if his curiosity is killing him, he'll just endure it since he's confident that he will find the answers to his questions soon.

He then quickly proceeded to start working for the job given to him by his boss, burdened by the lack of time. While Ace leaned against the expensive office swivel chair, closing his eyes.

He frowned, he wants to have a smoke but he promised someone that he'll stop smoking. Though he's unsure if that someone still remembered him.

Then Keith's face flashed in his mind, their resemblance seems uncanny. It's like they're the same person, but they're not. Though he noticed some differences between them, like their eye color, the slight difference of their face shape and the energy they gave.

He knows very well that they're completely different people, but he still has the desire to make him his—to fulfill his failed romance with his first love.

He's aware that this thought should be discarded, but his regret and loneliness for his first love blocked his rational thoughts.

Ace frowned and massaged his temples. He couldn't take it anymore, he needs to clear his head. One smoke wouldn't hurt, besides its just this once, he couldn't possibly know. He stood up from his chair then calmly walked outside his office to buy cigarettes.

He immediately went inside the private elevator that was exclusive for him, the perks of being a CEO. He then stepped out when the elevator finally stopped at the lobby. Employees greeted him as he strode out of the company.

Fortunately, there's a nearby convenience store just a few minutes away, so he didn't have to walk far.

He suddenly halted from entering the convenience store out of shock when their eyes met.
