Mr.villain I Like You! Would You Go Out With Me?

Mystic realm's little plant

Rich Spiritual Qi permeates the air and the surrounding land grew lushly, filled with wide variations of plants. This place is a mystic realm, cut off from the rest of the world, existing in a different time and space. The entrance to this mystic realm opens up every 500 years, and occasionally some cultivators would find their way in. The rest of the time, this place remains secluded in a peaceful quietness.

A certain plant has been quietly collecting Spiritual Qi for the passing millennium, and quite recently, it succeeded in being the first amongst its peers to gain spiritual awareness.

The little plant's heart leaped with joy. The sun seems brighter and the air seems infinitely fresher. The tip of its little leaves curled up as if it was smiling. If it could, it would have jumped up in its excitement.

It must cultivate diligently! When it gains a human form, naturally jumping would be a small matter. Then, when its fellow plants also succeed in gaining awareness, he can establish his seniority! The little plant continues to mindlessly daydream, not forgetting to absorb Spiritual Qi diligently. For the sake of legs! For the sake of cute little shota brothers and sisters!

Outside of the mystic realm, a young teenage boy covered in wounds laboriously ran,  staggering with each step. Chasing behind him are three other people wearing the same white robes as him, face filled with undisguised malice.

The teenage boy's running abruptly came to an end, faced with a gaping cliff and a bottomless raging sea before him. With nowhere left to run, the boy can only grit his teeth and face the three people chasing after him.

"Xi Wei Tian, let's see where else can you run to now!" The three white-robed cultivators caught up to him in no time, two of them brandishing their swords.

The young teenage boy's name is Xi Wei Tian, and the two pointing their swords at him are his martial brothers. The other cold and aloof youth is his senior martial brother, Su Yang. Under the name of bringing him to gain experience, this senior brother had brought him out to this forest to catch some spiritual beasts. Xi Wei was unable to refuse and could only warily accept the invitation. Sure enough, they had led him into a deep part of the forest before trying to kill him.

One of the youths pointing his sword spoke, sneering. "Hehe, just a bastards child, yet you dare covet what is rightfully our Shixiong's. How audacious!"

Every word is spat out slowly, with a careful and deliberate emphasis on the words "Bastards child".

Xi Wei calmly faces the three people, eyes sharp and alert, his face betraying no emotions. "I have no desire to inherit the sect, but if Shixiong's insecurity comes from being less capable than this Shidi, then this Shidi is also helpless."

Su Yang's eyes held a glint of anger before once again returning to being cold and detached. Leisurely, he slowly walks closer towards Xi Wei, forcing him closer to the edge of the cliff. With a soft voice, he said "If my spiritual root is not as good as yours, I'll just ruin yours. If my talent is not as good as yours, then I'll simply make sure you have no chance to grow."

No sooner did he finish saying those words, he pulled out a snow white blade from his side and stabbed it into Xi Wei's stomach.

"Your future won't be brighter than mine no matter how excellent you are because you won't have one."

Those words are the last thing Xi Wei heard before he was pushed down the cliff, into the deep and unforgiving sea.

------------------------------

The little plant was happily cultivating when he heard a thud sound. Blinking open it metaphorical eyes, it saw a young teenage boy lying unconscious in front of him. This person is Xi Wei. It just so happens that one of the entrances to this mystical realm is in the sea of where he was thrown off the cliff. Even more, coincidentally it just happens that it has been 500 years since the entrance to the mystic realm last opened.

The little plant's metaphorical eyes are opened wide, round as an egg. Oh my god, why is this person so bloody??? As it was getting over its initial shock, Xi Wei's eyelashes tremble before slowly opening. Seeing that Xi Wei was waking up, the little plant automatically held its breath and went still. Although it knew that Xi Wei has no way of knowing that it has a spiritual awareness, it couldn't help but be nervous. This is the first human it has seen since it gained awareness. Curiously it looked swept over Xi Wei's features.

Xi Wei's hair tie had come loose, his ink-black hair spread out on the ground. His bloodstained robes failed to diminish his good looks in the slightest. His eyes were still a little misty and his cheeks that still haven't lost it's fat, though a bit pale, induces people to pinch it. In a few years, he will grow up to be stunningly handsome, but for now, he still looks like a tender, harmless little child.

The little plant inwardly lets out a dreamy sigh. Those are legs! Real legs! How it wishes to have a pair of its own! While the little plant was still lamenting over its roots, it felt itself rising higher and higher up into the air.

Legs, Legs, legs, l- huh? Breaking out of its daydream, the little plant saw itself in the clutches of Xi Wei. Ah, dear child, what are you doing???

As if to answer the plant's question, Xi Wei brought the plant closer to his lips, his warm and labored breath tickling the little plant's leaves. By this time, the little plant knew exactly what Xi Wei was going to do to it. Over the past thousand years, many of its fellow plants have fallen to this cruel fate.

Aiyah, look at that sister plant over there, doesn't it look better than me? If you really like plants like me, I see several more growing two feet behind you... please dear child, have mercy on me!

Before the little plant can recommend more plants like recommending marriage partners or resign to its fate, it was unceremoniously shoved into Xi Wei's mouth.

Let there be a bright future before us!

If you ask the little plant how it had expected to die, never would it have told you "Oh a human ate me" and if you ever ask the same little plant what it had expected after death, never would it have imagined this.

A man with silver hair like a sheet of silk flowing over his shoulders sat on a bamboo rocking chair in front of him, rocking back and forth lazily. His eye-catching red robes outset his hair and skin, making them appear even whiter. In his hand was a book that he seems to be absorbed in reading. When the man finally looked up at the dazed little plant, it saw that the man have a pair of eyes so impossibly dark that there seems to be no light in them.

"Hi I'm God, but you can call me Roy~"

Dear god... t-this is actually god??? In a trembling voice, the little plant ask "A-are you the great Dao then?"

In the cultivation world, the great Dao is the god who created the way of cultivation as well as the three thousand worlds. He is the highest existence and all cultivators strive to become a god like him.

Smiling he props up his cheek on the arm of the rocking chair before answering. "No, I'm not Dao, but similarly I am also a type of god."

The man doesn't seem to have any intentions of explaining further so the little plant decided to let the topic drop.

With a crisp snap of the man's fingers, a table appeared in front of the soul of the little plant, and the white space around them slowly became the interior of a pleasant little cottage. There was even a cold refreshing smell of sandalwood wafting through the air. Following several more snaps, thick documents appeared on the table.

"The host can choose any system. The terms and conditions are written in their documents, Host can look them over."

The little plant floats over the table, still somewhat confused. "What is a system for?"

There were many new terms on the various documents and the little plant felt a bit overwhelmed with all these new information. This was not how he imagined afterlife to be. What happened to Aunt Meng Po's soup and the promised yellow river? Are there some sorts of discrimination against plants in the afterlife?

Roy pursed his lips. "Everyone in this world has some sort of predestined fate and their lives would play out according to their fate. For example, there are people born with immense luck and they are destined to reach the top that many people can only dream of. Others are born with the fate to ultimately be trampled under others. Sometimes the guy in charge of death messes up and a person that's not due to die yet dies. This error would cause everyone's fate to spiral out of control. You as host will continue living as that person, fulfilling that person's fate and the system is used to decide what kind of fate will you be handling."

Scanning through the documents, a particular one caught the little plant's eyes. As it read through the front page, it's metaphorical little eyes glints with excitement.

"The villain system."

Roy looks at him. "Host are you sure? That is one of the more demanding ones."

The god is having mixed feelings. Although it would be quite interesting for him to watch, he can see that the soul of this little plant is still rather pure... can it handle the being a villain?

The little plant, on the other hand, was ecstatic. "Hehe, the sweet days with legs and revenge are not far ahead." It never expected itself to be so lucky. Not only does this job comes with a new lease on life, but the benefits are also top notch too!

Seeing that the little plant was set on the villain system, Roy decides to not say anything. After the little plant's confirmation, the document that says villain system bursts into flames, the ashes circling the little plant's soul before disappearing.

"I won't be able to talk to you anymore until you return to this space. The system will guide you from now on."

The little plant's vision gradually began to darken until it completely lost consciousness.

------------------------------

When it opened its eyes again, it found itself lying down on a bed facing the ceiling. His body ached like someone had hit him all over. Getting up from the bed took a bit of an effort as he wasn't used to this new body.

[ Welcoming Host to the system. I am villain system 003.]

Hearing the voice in his head, he jerks his head and looks around frantically.

[ Host I am linked to your soul with no physical form. From this day on, wherever you go I'll go and if you die, I'll also disappear. As life partners, let's develop a healthy relationship, ok? ^_^]

The system's voice held a hint of shyness like a bride meeting her mother in law for the first time. The system sincerely wants to get along with its host! Let there be a bright future in front of them!

Walking towards the mirror stand in the room, he touches his face observing this body's feature. Pale skin flawless like jade and a pale lip that was pressed into a stern expression. A set of exquisite eyebrows grace his forehead and his peach blossom eyes are capable of enthralling anyone that looks into it if only he would smile. His whole person screams cold and unfeeling, excluding the aloof air of an untouchable immortal.

[ Host, would you like to receive the memories of this person?]

"Yes"

Memories from the body's previous owner flash before him. Every aspect of his life was included, even childhood memories that were long forgotten were replayed with sharp clarity. This body's name is Su Yang. He was born as the son of the sect leader of Pearless Heaven. Pearless Heaven is an elite sect that even the emperor have to give face to. In the sect, he was a rare talent with double water and wood spiritual vein that complemented each other. Before he turned 14, he had finished the Qi condensation stage and now at the age of 18, he is at the peak of the Foundation stage. He is regarded as a talent that might reach the Core Formation stage before the age of 20 and is treated as the next successor to the Peerless Heaven sect. Su Yang was the type of person that other people considered as a flower growing on top of a mountain, high and untouchable. His cold looks made him appear even more unapproachable.

As he continues to study the memories, a soft knock interrupted his thoughts. "Yang Shixiong, may I come in?"

Dine and dash

A young man walks into the room hands holding a tray with a medicine bottle in it. Su Yang recalls that this should be his third Shidi Bei Ling. Pearless Heaven sect has a total of seven peaks, each with their own peak master.  Su Yang's father the sect leader is naturally the peak master of Pearless peak where all the disciples are sword cultivators. Pearless peak has a total of 150 disciples, excluding the 5 inner disciples. Amongst the other peaks, it may not be the biggest but it's disciple's fighting strength are generally the strongest.

"Yang Shixiong ah, you really suffered. To get rid of that trash you even had to injure yourself..." Bei Ling face scrunches up into an ugly expression.

...Trash? Thinking about it, Su Yang recalled that yesterday "he" had taken his fifth Shidi Xi Wei into the sect's Beastial forest. After "taking care" of his fifth Shidi, he had cast an explosion spell on himself to make it seem like he had endured a grueling battle with the Rank 6 Fire Python living in the forest. Spirit beasts are ranked from 1 to 10 and a rank 6 spiritual beast is equivalent to a Nascent soul stage cultivation. The story that "Su Yang" had spun up was that his fifth Shidi being overly curious had wandered off by himself and accidentally stumbled upon the spot where the Fire Python was resting, irritating it. Xi Wei, in the end, was just a child no older than 14, he had only just entered the Foundation stage. How could he fight against a Spirit beast that has the prowess of a Nascent soul cultivator? By the time Su Yang had found Xi Wei and tried to save him, it was too late. The Elders accepted his explanation and some even praised his heroic effort. As for his father... he appeared as calm and detached from the world as ever, but there was a flash of emotion that the original Su Yang didn't miss. That only agitated the original Su Yang's emotions even more, the dark feelings bottled up inside of him intensifying.

Whereas Su Yang was the legitimate child born from the official wife, it was a loveless marriage for the sake of benefits. The sect leader wasn't the first son nor the most talented. He had an older brother that was better than him in every aspect, so being the less talented younger son, he was forced to marry a daughter with a military lineage to further strengthen Pearless Heaven Sect's influence. It was no secret that Su Yang's father had another sweetheart and resented the marriage. Then previous sect leader along with his older brother lost their lives during an expedition in the demon realm. At that time, due to the previous sect leader having a good relationship with the other peak masters and Su Yang's father's cultivation being just half a step away from the nascent soul stage, no one objected when he became the next sect leader.

Su Yang's father was no longer the lively youth from before and had long learned to be cold and unfeeling. He often goes into close door cultivation and almost never visited Su Yang and his mother who had failed to advance in her cultivation was already nearing the end of her lifespan when she had Su Yang.

Xi Wei was brought into the sect by his father when Su Yang was 14. At that time he had already finished the Qi condensation stage but his father only ever spared him a single "En". Su Yang was already used to his father's neither hot or cold attitude and thought he was just naturally like this. But when his father interacts with Xi Wei, although other people probably couldn't tell the difference, Su Yang can clearly tell that his father treated him differently.

Xi Wei was then tested to have a Heavenly thunder spiritual root, which paired with his comprehension ability, was in no way inferior to Su Yang and was perhaps even better. All sorts of bitter feelings began to take fester in his heart, causing him to even form a heart demon during his cultivation.

Xi Wei...Oh my goodness isn't that the child that ate him??? Su Yang's eyes almost popped out of his head, immediately bursting into a fit of coughs to cover up the surprised yell that almost escaped from his throat.

"Yang Shixiong are you all right?"

Calming down, Su Yang once again relaxes his face into his normal cold and aloof image. "Ahem, Ling Shidi... did fifth Shidi perhaps returned to the sect?"

Bei Ling gave Su Yang a strange look. "Yang Shixiong...don't worry, there's no way that Xi Wei can survive falling off a cliff of that height. Especially after you stabbed him."

Cough, cough. Right, he did stab him but he didn't die! Thanks to who? Thanks to him!

(ノД`)

After applying the medicine and sulking around in his room for half the day, Su Yang made up his mind. If Xi Wei is not coming back, then he'll just have to go to him! He wants to just dine and dash without paying? Like hell he'll let him walk away scot-free!
