The voice was getting closer and closer, it's mom's voice, Sam was still sleeping, she opened her eyes to see why was she shouting. A tall and chubby figure was standing in front of her, holding the rolling pin her hand which was covered with white flour

` If I don't shout, you will be late for school again😬, why don't you just set the alarm and save me some efforts of waking you up?😰' said her mother in a taunting tone. ``

``Lemme sleep, I don't wanna get up!!"

Just get up, I said. Everyone else is wide awake, only you are the lazy one, said her mother while shaking her with one hand. Mom, just a lil bit more, please. Sam, do you even know it's 7:15 already, you still wanna slack off?

``WHATTT?" What are you talking about mom? popping out of the blanket. Her hair was messy and her eye's wide. You're gonna be late again, I said!! The finals were ongoing as it was late feb.

The morning was cold and chilly.

She knew if she will be late again, the devil won't spare her. The thought of punishment ran down a chill in her backbone.

Without having a second thought, she jumped out of the bed, Her mom was about to warn her, Sa... Ahh ahh aaaaaaaaa!! She bumped her head on the floor becuz her foot was struck in the blanket. ``How clumsy she is. I've told her to fold her blanket before leaving the room, but why would she listen to me?" Her mother left the room murmuring.

She got ready as fast as she could.

Her sisters were very reliable, everything was kept prepared and just needed to get ready. Sam was shouting now and then becuz she could not find her socks and shoes, This, I say was a daily routine as she was soo careless and used to making mistakes.

Her mother came in the room and gave her the socks that were kept right in front of her. Sam chuckled. Her mom smacked her, ``Go and eat something if you still have time to laugh like an idiot😒. Ohkii dokii Momma. She went to the dinning table where everyone else had finished their breakfast and were about to leave.

Alex stopped in front of Stevens house. Steven was Alex's best friend. He was also with his bicycle, and was about to leave. Alex asked him to go together. He called Sam, `` Get on or I'll leave you! Yeah, I'm coming.

They reached the school gate, it was about to get closed, Sam jumped off and ran towards the gate.

Sam- ohh uncle, it was him, it's all his fault, please let us in😭.

Sam!! here, here!!" It was Ava. Ava is Sam's best friend. She was standing in the corridor waiting for her. If you would have been late by a second, you were doomed " Yeah, I know come let's go.

They finished there exams and the school was over.

Sam rushed to Ava's class to check on her. Ava just finished packing up her stuff. Ava and Sam were friends since they were in 5th standard. Ava was timid and dull, because no one wanted to talk to her. When Sam was admitted to the school, she saw her alone, and approached her, and as time passed by they became best friend's. Now the finals are over, they were one of those students who just wait for holidays all year round.

Sam decided to spend the holidays playing and roaming here and there, but her mother forcefully sent her to attend the tuition classes.

It was evening she took her bag and went there.

As she opened the gate, there was Steven and Alex joking with each other. Steven was a gentle, cool and handsome guy, normally he wouldn't care for girl's, he treated them as they didn't even exist. But Sam's case was different.
