She clenches the sheets with her bruised hands as she is lost in deep thoughts. Sun Rei was lying in one of the hospital’s beds, staring at the lights from the ceilings. Trying to figure out how she got there.

“ How come I was not good enough? “ she asked herself. She tries to hold back her tears but fails. “ For the past 8 years I tried my best to make you proud...but...this is what I get in return?”

Sun Rei never thought her own family would actually abandon her.

She slowly sits up to look at her surroundings just in case somebody heard her. There was another patient next to her however the curtains that are in between them were covering half of that patient’s bed, she could not tell if that person was asleep or awake, she just hoped that patient did not hear her talking to herself.

A nurse opens the door and peeks her head in ” Miss Sun you have a visitor “

Sun Rei wipes her tears with her hands to fix herself. She looks at the nurse and gives a nod.

The nurse fully opens the door and makes way for the visitor to enter. In came a girl with Long black hair and light brown eyes, she was wearing a yellow sundress above her knees as she carries a fruit basket in her hand, she looks at Sun Rei and flashes a warm smile.

“ Guess who is here to visit you baby sis! “

“ I’ll leave you two alone “ The nurse smiles and leaves as she closes the door behind.

Sun Rei wanted to break into tears again but she was happy that her sister came to visit and she doesn’t want to look weak in front of her.

Sun Chi clicks her tongue and walks over to Sun Rei.

“ Sun Rei! You know you can cry around me, it’s not a bad thing. “ she pulls out a chair from the corner and places it next to Sun Rei’s bed to sit. Sun Rei chuckles and looks down at her own hands.

This class could help her find a way on how she got there and how she can get out. Many of the students looked bored as they waited for their class to be over, Sun Rei on the other hand was writing down many notes. She wants to get every detail she can about time traveling.

An hour had passed by and it was time for her music class.

The tip of her fingers begin to move, hitting the notes to the song. You can hear that the notes are smooth and connected. Sun Rei felt the music rushing through her veins. She swift her body side to side, she was dancing with the medleys. Mr. Zeng was surprised, none of his students couldn’t top this song. He was amazed that Sun Rei’s soul was pouring out into the piano, it’s like they were communicating.

Yu Lumi didn’t seem like Yu Lumi, it was like she was a totally different person. Thought Mr. Zeng

Sun Rei closes her eyes and starts remembering her training, the lessons that her favorite music teacher taught her paid off well, of course she used to teach Sun Chi, both girls were her top students. Her music teacher was a foreigner who came from England, she was also Sun Rei and Sun Chi’s etiquette teacher. Her name was Mrs. Jane. Mrs. Jane was amazing to the Sun family, thanks to her hard work, Sun Rei and Sun Chi became really talented in music. Mrs. Jane used to be a famous pianist and violinist back in her own hometown. Now she travels around the world through orphanages, hospitals and even schools to teach more students, she wanted to help people find their music. What she means by that, find your own place of feeling.

Sun Rei finally finished the song and rested her hands on the keys, she really felt emotional and she was hoping that the whole class would appreciate her performance. When she got up and turned around, everyone was staring at her with their jaws dropped. They couldn’t find any words to say something. Until one student who with gray curly hair got up from his chair, he began clapping his hand first, this caused more people to stand up and clap and soon the whole class was cheering.

Sun Rei was on the verge to cry, she never performed in front of people except family members, her family wouldn’t allow her to participate in competitions, only Sun Chi was allowed because she was the star, winning all those awards which took up almost the whole house. The only award Sun Rei got was a blue ribbon from Mrs. Jane.

Mr. Zeng did hand gestures to calm the class, soon the students obeyed and were seated down.

He then looks at Sun Rei with an odd look. This made Sun Rei very nervous, she was hoping she impressed him.

Xu Kai gets up from out of his chair and heads towards a huge window that take almost the entire walls of his office, he starts observing what was happening outside of his company, there he saw a family walking into a restaurant, a worker lifting boxes into a truck, people taking their dogs out to walk, a couple taking selfies as they eat ice cream, performers keeping the people entertain in the streets. Everyone seems happy with the way their lives are going. Xu Kai secretly smiles, he dreams of a day where he can have a normal life, without anybody spreading a path for him. Since he was the eldest son of the Xu family, He grew up differently from his siblings. He had to be the most responsible one, he had to be smart, he had to be strong, he had to be perfect in order to run the family business. It was a pity how he never lived a good childhood like everyone else. He missed out on a lot, everyday he regrets being the eldest.

Was it before the 20th Anniversary of the Shrek company? Or After? Wait...Yu Lumi’s mother died when Mr.Yu took everyone on vacation...was it summer vacation?

Although Sun Rei doesn’t know that much about Yu Lumi, she was trying her best to use the knowledge of this story she read. Since she got reincarnated, she wanted to change the story’s destiny in order to become happy.
