"Then, if u don't want to help my family, then let's divorce," said Amelia. "Ok, if u are insisting," Ethan said. He went out because this conversation happened while he was getting ready to go to his company.

Why can't that women see that her family is only using her, she wasn't like that when she was a kid, I only left her for 15 years and she have changed a lot Ethan thought. Different thoughts were occupied in Ethan's mind on the other side Amelia was thinking why can't he help me, he knows that I care about my family a lot, why god not giving me my happiness that were the thoughts that were occupied in her mind.

In the afternoon, Ethan came home with his lawyer.

" Here is the divorce papers sign it u will get a mansion and 10 million dollars if u sign willingly if not u have to go from this house and u won't receive a penny" Ethan said.She didn't think twice and sign the papers and left from the house.

" When will u get that ur parents treat you like their daughter just to take advantage of u?" Ethan was thinking.

After Amelia left Ethan's mansion, she'd got a call from her father. " Hello, father," Amelia answered the phone. " Amelia, our family is in the edge of bankruptcy. Did u ask Ethan's help?" Amelia's father asked. " He isn't willing to help us," Amelia replied. " Come home. I have to discuss something with u," Her father said. Before Amelia could reply, he hung up the call. " Let's just go and see," Amelia thought.

" Father, why did u call me here?" Amelia asked after reaching the mansion. " Amelia, can't u even ask Ethan to help us? we raised u up to this time, but after marrying a rich man, u forgot us," Amelia stepmother said while coming downstairs

" It's not like that not only I asked but I also plead to help our family but he turned a blind eye to our situation " Amelia said. " Amelia, u even can't do this simple thing to our family if I married Ethan. I think he will definitely help," Amelia's stepsister said. " Because he is not willing to help I divorce him," Amelia. Everyone was shocked to hear that, but Amelia stepsister was so happy. " Why did u take a decision like that?" Amelia's father asked her.

" He isn't willing to help. Why do I have to keep this relationship then?" Amelia said. Amelia's father slapped her after hearing that. " No, u can't divorce him. Don't do that u have to go to him again and beg him." " Father, I can't go to him again," Amelia said angrily. " If u can't then u are no longer a member of this family get out of this house I didn't have a daughter like u " He was furious to hear what Amelia said so he blunt out those words.

Amelia was heartbroken by hearing what her father told, so she went out of the house. She was crying and walking alone the road suddenly a heavy rain started.

She was soaked in rain water but after some time one came and held an umbrella for her she looked at him as he was wearing an expensive suit. She was surprised after looking at him.

It was Ethan who was holding an umbrella for her. " Why are u here now we are divorced, know?" She asked as she was curious why her ex-husband came when she was heartbroken. " Come with me," He said without answering her question.

He took her to his car and asked the driver to drive. We came to a mansion but not the mansion we stayed still our divorce. " Let's go inside. If u stay like this, u will catch a cold," Ethan said. She can't get why he is caring about her now. He took Her into a room and told her to sit. He bought a towel and dry her hair. After that, he told her to change her clothes as they were wet. He went out of the room after saying that.

Ethan's POV

I don't want her to leave me but I don't have any option. She only thinks about her family's happiness, but they are taking advantage of it. I will try my best to make u realize the truth about them. I won't let them make u unhappy and heartbroken. I made her sign the divorce papers, but I didn't sign it she still doesn't know that. She agreed to marry me because of her family. Now I will make u fall for me, and I will help u to remember ur past u will not take their side if u remember.

Amelia's POV

I took a bath and went to the wardrobe to find a dress. I am truly surprised all the dresses are in my size and they all are expensive. I took a pink color sleeveless dress and wore it. I went out of the room as I was dressed up. My mind is filled with thoughts of Ethan because he is showing me care and love, which he didn't show me when we were married. When I went out from the room to the living room, I saw he was sitting on a sofa while using the phone. I think he sensed my presence, so he looked at me. He gestured to come and sit near him. I went and sat.

" U stay here from today. I will help ur father's company in return u have to do something," He spoke suddenly after staring at me for a while. " Why are u helping my family now?" She asked as I couldn't get what he was planning. " I will tell u about that after some days, but now to help the company, I want something in return," he said but did give the answer to my question. " Ok, what do I have to do?" Amelia asked. ' I will do anything if he is agreeing to help my family,' she thought. " U have to come to my company and have to work as my secretary and u have to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for me," He said, and I looked at him in a suprising mood. ' It's is just working and cooking but why cooking Aunt Martha is the one who cooked for him when we were married ' She thought. " Ok, but u don't like my cooking, and u used to eat what Aunt Martha cooked," she said as she was curious to know what his true motives were. " Ur cooking is ok and Aunt Martha's son is sick so she went to her hometown " He said. Again in few seconds " Let's go and sleep now if not u will fall ill u have to come with me tomorrow to the company " He said. " Ok, but at what time are we going?" I asked so that I won't wake up late to make him angry. " We have to be their at 7.30 am," He said. " Ok, Roger, that good night," she said as she thought she was following his command. A smile appeared on his face, seeking how cute she replied to him.

She had a good sleep. She woke up and got ready as she didn't want to make Ethan angry and went to the living room. I didn't see him so I went to the kitchen to make breakfast. When she was preparing breakfast, someone hugged her from behind. She turns her head to see who it is. It was Ethan she was surprised that he was behaving differently. " Let me cook. What are u doing?" She asked as she thought he would go away while releasing her. "Good morning. What are u making?" He said and kissed her cheek. She was blushing because of embarrassment, but she was in shock also. " Good morning. Are u sick? Let me check," she asked as she didn't know why he was showing her love and care. " I am fine tell me why didn't u wear an apron?" Ethan asked while releasing her from the hug. " I just forgot it's ok," She said while putting bacon slices on the pan.

" Here, turn around," Ethan said while holding an apron. She turned after that, and he helped her to wear the apron. " It's not that u forgot u were lazy to find it. Am I correct?" He asked me. She didn't reply because he was right. " Go and sit. I will serve the breakfast in a few minutes," She said as she wanted to make him leave the kitchen. He obediently leaves without arguing. ' What has happened to provoke face he is not so bossy as before,' she thought.

She served the breakfast to the table after that both of them ate. Amelia took the dishes to wash, but Ethan stopped her. " U need not to wash them. Just keep them there and go and get ready to go to the company," He said. She wanted to ask why, but she knew that if she questioned him, then he would get angry, so she decided not to ask and went to her room to get ready.

After getting ready, both of them left for the company. EB Corp is now the leading business in the country. It mainly focuses on technology and fashion fields. They arrived at the company. It's a huge building. Amelia hasn't visited Ethan's company before. His assistant came before they took the elevator to go to Ethan's office. " Sir, Mr. Joseph Miller wants to make an appointment today to meet u, "the assistant said after greeting Ethan.

" Ok, let's see what he is up to," He said and smirked. The 3 went up in the elevator to Ethan's office. Before entering the office, " Winston, is everything ready that I ask u to prepare yesterday?" He asked. " Yes, sir, all is prepared," He replied quickly. " Then u can go and handle the rest," He said in a cold tone. " Ok sir " assistant said while lowering his head.

" Come inside, Amelia. I will show ur table and what ur duty is," He said while looking at me but not in a cold tone. " Ok, sir," she called him sir as now she is not his wife but his employee. " Sir, why is my table in ur cabin?" she asked after ethan showed her the table. " U have to be within my eye sight that's why it's here," He said with a smirk. I don't know what he means, but I feel something fishy about what he said.
