michael had been walking on his own in the night through the woods fear of the dark soaring through him making him wonder why he had stayed out so late when the beast had suddenly leapt out at him from nowhere a ghiant hound with midnight fur and fire mingled with darkness around him it the shock was just too much he couldnt even scream. but instead of hitting him , the hound flew into a tree by the road side destroying it and spreading its fire around.the beast stood up growling and in pain ready for whoever it was fighting to come out. the monsters body was covered in gashes and dark matted fur matted due to the dark blood covering it .the beast had just let out a world shattering roar when a petite figure in jeans ,a leather jacket ,combat boots and a thin 1 meter long blade in hand leapt out ofg the shadows screaming in pain and rage as she flew at the beast her blade emitting a strange ilver light as she struck . the sky seemed to burst open once her blade sunk into the beasts hide lightening the width of a condo came down in a blinding band primal crash of power upon a screaming teen looking girl covered in red and black blood and a truck size fiery hound. standing some distance away, michael was in shock as he went towards the gigantic crater in the ground where the lightening had hit.for some reason, the lightening's incrible force and hit didn't reach him it seemed to have been focused on the spot where the girl and the beast had been a moment ago but the massive after shocks and tremors from such incredible force slamming into the earth hadnt't spared him michael was injured,dirty,unbalanced and in shock as he made his way nto the edge of the new crater only to see the girl in there alone with the beast nowhere to be seen. her jacket had burnt away like her combat boots and jeans, to reveal complete silver amour with large gashes on it's surface. some distance away, her sword lay broken just a few meters away from a mysterious glowing ball . the scene brought a deep shock to michael and just then, he knew he couldn't just leave her there with her grievious injuries. ''who exactly are you?'' he couldn't help but ask withi hinself as he turned her over only to see a girl immensly beautiful even in her sorry state with immensly dark hair flowing like the nile.she was like a goddess under the moon a goddess fallen from the skies a being of immense power. michael couldn't really wrap his mind over what he had just seen especially as a middle class african who only came tom america for the holiday he couldn't still understa nd if the girl in his arms had really summoned lightening or if it had just been a coincidense or if he was only seeing things but he just knew within himself that he must protect the goddess in his arms.
