Echoes Through the Doors
EPISODE 1 -The dance of desire
The setting sun paints the sky in gold and blood. Palm trees sway.
Zesus, dressed in fine linen, dances before Apollo, the tall and stoic king seated on a stone throne. Apollo watches silently, trying to stay expressionless—but his eyes follow zesus with longing.
Zesus
(softly, with affection)
"You are always so still… yet your eyes speak louder than armies
Apollo steps down. He touches zesus face—gently, like he’s afraid he’ll break the moment
Apollo
(Low) Even kings have hearts
But suddenly—
A blade flashes behind Apollo
Samu’el, seething with jealousy, lunges Apollo turns just as the knife sinks into his side.
He gasps—blood on his lips—as he falls into zesus arms
Apollo
SAMU’EL (his voice filled with confusion and pain)
Typhon
I Am the rightful heir it should be me I deserve love , i deserve throne and you (points at zesus)
Apollo
(Pained, whispering)
“I would rather die in your arms… than live without them.”
zesus cradles Apollo, eyes burning with grief.
SAMU’EL, now trembling, raises the knife again—and plunges it into zesus back.
Zesus freezes, then slowly falls beside apollo . Their hands brush—fingers barely meeting.A voice—ancient and female—echoes through the air:
“Time cannot kill what love remembers.
Death comes.
But the bond remains.”
INT. leo APARTMENT – EARLY MORNING
leo
(gasps) is this the dream ....mg!
leo jolts awake, heart pounding. Sweat clings to his neck. He grabs his chest—still feeling the phantom pain.
The room is dim. Rain taps softly on the window.
He sits up, breathing hard.
leo
(barely a whisper)
“They both died this time…”
LEO FATHER enters — mid-50s, graying hair, kind eyes. He’s in his weekend sweater, holding a bag of groceries. He stops in the doorway, eyes landing on leo
mr arya
You’re up early… or didn’t sleep?"
LEO doesn’t answer.
His father sets the groceries down quietly and walks over. He sits beside leo glancing at his son.
mr arya
You had that dream again?"
leo nods slowly. His voice cracks
leo
"This time… they both died. He held me while I bled. Then someone stabbed him too. We reached for each other but couldn’t..."
mr arya
(sincerely)
"The dream… it hurts like a memory, doesn’t it?"
leo
I don't want to lose him again. Not in this life."
His father pulls him into a hug—firm, steady. leo lets himself lean in.
mr arya
"Then don’t. Whatever this is—dream or past life—you’re still here now. And so is he."
Silence. Just the ticking of the clock and the rain outside.
mr arya
You always had a strong heart, leo. Use it. Find him. Tell him."
leo closes his eyes, finally allowing a tear to fall.
EPISODE 2 –The stranger I remember
2024, Century Times Office, Midtown Manhattan
Setting: Newsroom, 7:45 AM – just before the storm
The newsroom buzzes gently—phones not yet ringing, only the occasional murmur and the hiss of the espresso machine.
INT. BREAKROOM – EARLY MORNING
ROWEN pours coffee into two mugs. leo lounges on the counter, looking like he barely slept.
Rowen
(Stirring sugar)
"Let me guess—Your lord death dreams again?"
leo
(grinning)
"Yep. Fire, chanting, betrayal. You know, the usual bedtime vibe."
Rowen
"Maybe try chamomile. Or therapy"
leo
"Can chamomile explain why my dream buddy stabbed me in the back while yelling in castle?"
Rowen
(sipping)
"No, but therapy could."
leo
(mutters, mock offended)
"Blasphemy. My dream self had a partner. We told stories together. He had this voice like thunder and a face like—"
The elevator dings.
They both glance out as GEMINI steps into the lobby.
Clean-cut, composed, tailored to perfection
RECEPTIONIST
(welcoming smile)
“Mr. GEMINI ? You’re early. Please have a seat—Mr. riven will be with you shortly.”
leo
(freezes mid-sip, staring)
"...No freaking way."
Rowen
(not looking)
"What now? Did your past-life barista show up?"
Leo doesn’t answer. He’s already moving.
INT. LOBBY – CONTINUOUS
Gemini sits near reception, flipping through the latest issue of Century Times. He doesn’t notice Leo at first.
leo
(approaching, casual but stunned)
"Coffee?"
leo
"Sorry—I'm Leo .I write work in editing department . You new?"
Gemini
Gemini. Starting today.
Leo nods, eyes wide, trying not to freak out
Gemini
(Uneasy)
"Have we… met before?"
leo
(Smirking, but there's a crack in it)
"Not officially. But, uh... I’ve seen you in my dreams. Murkha temple. You were betrayed by u friend. Fire everywhere."
Gemini
(Stiff)
"I think you have me confused with someone else."
leo
(grinning, backing away slowly)
"Yeah. Or I have me confused with someone else. See ya around, partner."
Gemini stares after him, visibly weirded out
RIVEN Editor in staff (the boss)steps out of his glass office, commanding attention with a simple glance.
Riven
(clapping once)
"Alright, team. Meet your new junior staff writer Gemini Classics brain. Journalism steel. Don't scare him off too soon."
Leo raises his mug in mock salute
Riven
(to Gemini)
"And Mr. Gemini, once you’re settled—my office. We’ll talk assignments and expectations."
Gemini
(nods)
"Of course, sir."
Gemini walks past Leo's desk on the way to his new seat. leo still watching him—half in awe, half terrified.
Gemini sits. Straightens his tie. Opens his laptop.
Leo leans over, whispering:
leo
"Still think I’ve got the wrong guy?"
EPISODE 3–The story begins again
INT. RIVEN’S OFFICE – LATER
Gemini stands before Riven’s desk. The office is sleek, sunlit, and cluttered with back issues of Century Times. A vintage typewriter sits in The corner
Riven
(sizing him up)
"Gemini, right? Have a seat"
Gemini
(Sits, composed)
"Thank you, sir."
Riven
"Relax. I'm not a school principal—though I do believe in deadlines like a religion."
(beat)
"You’ve got quite the academic track record. Classical studies, deep dives into mythology, obscure languages. What made you pivot to journalism?"
Gemini
(choosing words carefully)
"Stories survive longer than civilizations. Journalism felt like the modern form of storytelling that still has mystery, survival "
Riven
(smiling faintly)
"Poetic. Maybe even dangerous. We like that here."
(leans forward)
"I’ll be blunt. This paper runs on caffeine, chaos, and the occasional lawsuit. You’ll be chasing leads, filing under pressure, and facing rejection—often in the same afternoon."
Gemini
(nods)
"I’m ready for that."
Riven
"Good. You’ll be shadowing Leo for now. He knows this madhouse better than most, even if he talks like he belongs in a padded cell."
Gemini
(stiffens slightly)
"Leo… yes. We’ve met."
Riven
(smirking)
"Ah, so he’s already doing his ‘I’ve seen you in a past life’ routine. Don’t worry. You will get use of him in upcoming days ."
Gemini
(Hesitating)
Yes sir
Riven
(Sits back, eyes curious)
"Interesting. Well—either way, don’t let the weirdness distract you. The truth matters more than the storyteller."
He slides a folder across the desk.
Riven
"Your first assignment. A profile piece on the restoration of that old temple on the east side. Should be routine. But…"
Gemini
(Picking up folder)
But
Riven
"Leo insisted on joining you. Said it ‘felt cosmically important.’ Whatever that means."
Gemini
(tight smile)
"Of course he did."
Riven
(Chuckling)
"Welcome to Century Times, Gemini."
Gemini nods, folder in hand, and exits
Gemini nods, folder in hand, and exits.
INT. NEWSROOM – CONTINUOUS
Leo watches as Gemini steps out of Riven’s office. He lifts his eyebrows, mock-innocent
leo
So… partners on your first gig. Meant to be, huh?"
Gemini
(flat)
"Only if you promise not to start talking about fire and betrayal again."
leo
(Grinning)
"No promises. But hey—we’ve got a temple to visit. Maybe this time, we don’t burn it down."
Gemini doesn’t answer, but something flickers behind his eyes. He walks ahead. Leo follows.
OUT.
