It was the beginning of winter, she was looking at the time on her wrist as she's walking at the already busy street of her city.

"Good morning! Clarisse" greet of a woman who tap her shoulder and smiling at her.

"Oh! Good morning Belle" she also smile at her.

"How was your day off?" asked belle.

"Still the same." by saying 'still the same' it means she did her house chores and do shopping for what she needs.

"Gosh! is that really all you ever do? why not try finding a boyfriend?" said belle.

"Haha, okay, okay. I'll try." she said abruptly.

Honestly she is not interested in dating but her friend nags her to do so.I mean what's wrong from being single? for her it's convenient because no one can restrict her of what she wants to do and she is already used to being alone.

Her friend belle keeps chatting with her as they walk towards their work, she enjoys having chat with her because it feels like the woman never lose a story.

Clarisse and belle are working at Crystal Hotel, a 5 star hotel that is well known not only in their city but also in abroad. She's a house keeper, maybe for others it is not an ideal work because of it's physical labor that tends to exhaust one's self, but for her it is good because she loves her work not only because the pay is high but also she enjoys what she's doing. she tends to forget what's in her mind and still do her best to earn money for what's she need.

Clarisse does have her dream, to be able to go back to school and graduate in college as she's only 20. She's supposedly in her second semester of her sophomore year, a business student majoring in marketing. She didn't manage to go to school this semester for she's having a hard time budgeting her expenses, leaving alone in an apartment paying for it's rent and there is also the bill for her phone,water and electricity. She plead her manager for full time schedule to save money for her schooling.

Life is hard, but, she keeps on fighting, for she knows she can depend no one but herself, struggling for everyday life like other commoner people does.

The busy day went by just like the other day for her. Clarisse get off to work and walk towards a fast food chain to get some dinner as she's not feeling want to cook that night.

"Hi! good evening what is your order?" the woman ask while smiling at her.

"Hello! I want 1 order of salad and chicken for take out please." she also smile.

"How 'bout a drink?"

"Umm.. I think I'll go with an orange juice please."

"Okay, that will be 2 dollar."

Clarisse extend her right arm to give the money for her order and wait for a while to get it. as she was about to walk towards the door someone bump into her and made her loose a balance and grab her.

Clarisse was heading towards the door but then suddenly she felt something hard that made her lose her balance. knowing that she was falling down, she close her eyes tightly expecting she's gonna feel the pain in her bottom any minute now.

'Oh my gosh, please help me' she pray in her mind.

It was funny to think someone or something answer her prayer, because, she felt someone hands grab her waist and kept her from falling.

She opened her eyes to look at the person who is grabbing her waist but then she felt suprise and speechless for a minute while looking at the man who is now staring down at her.

"Sorry, I'm not looking on my way. Are you alright?" the man asks.

"A.. yes.. thank you.I'm also at fault because I didn't see you too." stuttered, she answer.

"Umm.. would you mind?" she add, because she suddenly became aware of their situation and felt a little embarass that's why she help her self to gain her weight to stand and softly lose the grip of the man who is holding her.

The man look at her with his beautiful deep blue eyes. she was astonish while looking at him because he is so handsome, but, she keep it in her self for she do not want the man to misunderstand her.

"Sorry again for what happened." the man said looking so sincere for his apology.

"No, it's okay..and..Thank you because you help me." clarisse said.

The man seemed satisfied with her answer and politely said good bye to her. She walk out the door and walk to a street that is a way that leads to her apartment.

Clarisse arrive at her apartment. Opening the door she saw only darkness without a warmth atmosphere, she lit up the light and walks in.

The apartment is small with not too many furnitures inside, there's a sofa and a table, a small t.v that sitting on a not so tall cabinet across it, a single bed just beside the sofa and to the other corner is a small bathroom and a kitchen where she can cook. It is enough for her. Having a place to sleep to is just right.

Clarisse sit on the sofa to relax her body for a bit, and after some time she eats her dinner while watching a t.v program that night.

She take a bath and prepare herself to sleep, while drying her hair she unconsciously think about the man whom she bump to earlier.

She think the deep blue eyes that she saw this day is really unforgetable.

she saw unexplainable warmth in his eyes making her feel something new for her.

She don't know what the man names yet she remind her self. making a fuss over

something random that she know she might never see the man again.

While still thinking about the man she suddenly feel sleepy and start to close her eyes and fell for a deep sleep.

Time sure really passed by and now it's the beginning of spring where the plants and flowers starts to bloom and the snow is melting.

Clarisse spends her christmas and new year working at the hotel thinking, she rather work to earn more money for her tuition and other expenses, thanks to her effort and hardwork she earn quite alot.

Clarisse enrolled again at her school, still keeping her job at the hotel not as a full time employee but as a part timer. She works when she don't have classes or if the schedule is convenient for her.

It is now 1 week since the start of the semester and Clarisse goes to school again, she's still adjusting on her schedule because, she begin to be an irregular student.

In the class room..

"Good afternoon class." greet of the professor.

"Good afternoon sir!" greet of the whole class.

"All right, I would like to introduce my self. My name is Harold Adams and I'm gonna be your professor in Business Math." after his introduction Mr. Adams look at the door at the back for he saw a student standing there.

"Are you in this class?" ask Mr. Adams.

"Yes sir.Sorry for being late. "

"Okay young man I will let it slide this time,but, I want you to all to be early and not to be late in my class, for I will deduct your tardiness on your performance. Be sitted." the professor said to the guy.

The guy quietly sit at the empty desk chair right beside clarisse. Clarisse look at the guys face for a moment and meet his eyes. Right there and there she unconciously recognize the face of the guy who sits next to her but can't remember where she have seen him.

"Hi" the guy greets her. He smile at her.

The guy has dark hair with a low fade hair cut which compliments his looks. He has a high nostril nose and an oval shape face, but, what attracts her the most is his eyes that is deep blue in shade.

"Hello" she greets back.

"My name's josh evans, hope to be your friend." He extend his right arm towards clarisse and she took it to welcome the guy and be her friend.

"I'm clarisse williams, nice to meet you josh." she smile at him.

The class is still on going so they continue to listen to their professor. After a while the class has ended and Clarisse is having her break in one of the bench at the garden of their school, many students were also having their time relaxing in there. She also see josh happily chatting with some of the guys and girls that wasn't in their class earlier. Josh seems to notice her looking and smile towards her. She felt a little embarass, for some of his friend look at her, but in response for his smile she nod her head at him with a brief smile on her face.

Clarisse finish all of her classes that day and went straight home. That night she do what she usually does and went to sleep.
