Hey wake up dream girl teacher is coming it's  9 in the morning and you are sleeping in the class. (Said my annoying best friend Nanny ) she doesn't know why I am like this

I am not sleeping you idiot I'm just relaxing for a bit so that I can tolerate your winnings later. (I said looking at her with a smile though it was half truth)

My name is Canny and I am a high school girl currently in 11 grade its the starting of the semester and I started to feel pressure of studies as their are lot of assignments and projects which teachers are giving to us and today was no exception my English teacher gave us assignment to write essay for the school magazine of the year I was never a topper my marks were more than enough for me but I still does my best to be good.

Because of  thinking about essay I felt drowsy and felt asleep on the bench of my classroom as there were no one in the class as it was break because the teacher was absent today.

All day went like this (feeling sleepy) so after reaching home I lay on my bed when suddenly my insta notification bell ring I was sleepy but out of no where my hands grabed the phone and my etes widened what I saw next it was my picture of sleeping in the classroom. 

I was freezing at my place when suddenly I thought of checking the id of the person who posted it  but to my amaze the id was unknown and the name of the id was not a person of my knowledge.

Now I am thinking who it can be...

Next day morning (having breakfast) I am still tired as I was not able to sleep for whole night I was thinking who it can to upload my picture Nanny also asked me if I knew the person there were other comments and comments which are annoying me and making me curious about the person but for now I have to hurry otherwise I will get late for my class.

AT THE SCHOOL

As expected from comments everyone was staring and whispering about something and it is very obvious that they were talking about me or the picture of me on ig.

I entered the class some students looked at me like they are seeing an alien and some continue to do their work or talking.

What a great start of the day never thought I would be noticed like this putting my hands on the bench and head on them thinking what to do next when someone pat my shoulder when I looked at the person he was guy I think he misunderstood me for someone else but when he called my name I was dumb and deaf for a minute he told me that he is paired with me for our English assignment to write an essay so he wanted to discuss the topic and other things for it I just nodded my head in agreement and the only words which came from my mouth were " in the break" he looked at me confused then I came to my senses and told him if we can discuss about the assignment in the break time he smiled and nodded his head.

After a minute my friend Nanny arrived and asked me the same thing about the picture now I am totally frustrated. I was about to say something when Nanny pointed her fingers behind me to turn and look when I turned I saw the same guy with whom I'm paired before I could say anything he asked me the place to meet for the discussion (ooh yes I forgot to mention the place ) I said I would be fine if he choose the place and he replied to meet at the terrace of the classroom I just nodded and he left with a smile seeing him smiling an smile formed on my face without my knowledge I just turned back only to meet the suspicious eyes of my friend she was smiling at me in a curious and suspicious way I just want to shrug it off so I told her that he my partner and before I can complete my sentence she just started to talk nonsense like how can I be so secretive about my " boyfriend" and she doesn't knows about it (wait... what "boyfriend " whose?when?how)

So before she say anything I just pushed a candy into her mouth to make her shut yes she likes candies too much so I have one or two everytime in my bag so when I just can't tolerate her nonsense it helps me to suss her and it always works with her.

I told her that he is paired with me for the assignment and there is nothing between him and me.

After a pause she looked at the guy and then me and asked me whether I knew him before I was paired with him I just said no.

With her looks she seemed serious which is very rare to see.

Now I'm more curious about the guy wait until now I don't even know his name how stupid I am but its not my fault as my previous section was merged with the other section and that was the reason that I was not able to recognize him as my classmate at first place actually there are hardly any people whom I know as I am not a talkative person or extrovert I like being reserved and use my frretime in sleeping or watching standup videos (I like comedy and horror movies). The only friend I have is my childhood friend Nanny she is the only person with whom I talk in the school or outside it .

So I asked her if she knows that guy she nodded in yes.

Is something wrong with the guy or something else????

After a long silence of minute she told me that the guy is Raja one of the coolest and a bad boy as it is said by others.

He is kind of wierd as ,she said

I asked ,how?

She told me that even though he is said to be bad boy or bully never he caught up with any issues of bullying or fights. I wonder how ,she said more likely to herself.

It was the first time that I saw seriousness in her behavior.  She was telling me all those things like she knows him from all spheres of his life. If I have not seen her serious face I would have just shrug it off but now I feels like there are many things about her that I have to know. And for that I was always there. So instead of asking her directly I tried the other way to know about her feelings for the guy called"Raja". And yes she caught me that I was digging into her to know about her and the guy then only she revealed that she liked him for a long time but now she doesn't I know she is just saying because her eyes are still on that guy she said that she never confessed her feelings for him as she was scared what if he just turn her down . I can't understand how she feels because I never liked anyone in any romantic way so I was never been into any relationship other than friendship. 

She told me that his father is a businessman and he have two elder sisters who are married and he is the youngest one who is loved by everyone. He is close relative of the school's Principal

  (Oh so may be that's the reason he is never mentioned in the fights and other stuffs )

  And..(before she could say anything teacher came to class)

As teacher was explaining I turned around and see that the guy "Raja " was busy with his friends (talking and laughing) and teacher didn't pay any attention to them now I wonder how I have not noticed him seeing from afar he is a normal guy but when you look him closely he has good body structure ( may be playing sports or going gym  as its quite a trend for guys to go to  the gym )and quite attractive face with the black neatly parted hairs from side giving him a perfect look of both handsome and sincere person and then he turned his head to see me (came to my senses) may be I was staring him for a long time so I quickly turned around to pay attention what teacher was explaining but to my dismay I was not able to focus on anything.

RING RING school bell rang

Aww... I am sleepy the next class would be in half an hour so I can take a quick power nap as I was about to put my head on the desk someone tapped on my desk first I ignored as I thought it could be Nanny but when I heard the tap again I had no other option to look at the person .

Ohh it is him he is looking me with a questioning look I asked him what he sighed and told me about the meeting for assignment (oh yes how can I forget about it ) I said sorry to him and asked him if he could give me a minute to collect my pen and book so that we can discuss about it. He just nodded and leave.

I reached at the  classroom terrace he was sitting there with a book in his hand may be reading something (ohh so he too reads) a novel yes its that.

I went to him to sit next to him he folded his book to look at me and then stand up and made the gesture of handshake I did the same My name is Raja , he said so I just introduced myself.  We didn't get to know each other so thought of introducing myself, he said while smiling.  With that I smiled.

With that we proceeded with our assignment thinking about the title for it so I suggested the name "Where there's a will, there's a way" he nodded with a smile and our half an hour went like this discussing about the content and then the bell rang so our break time seems to be over now with that we both leaved for the class.

All classes went smoothly after that but Nanny was quite silent the  whole day I tried to ask her about it but she just said that she was not feeling well and that's all after the school get over we walked together like always but she was still silent (not her usual self who keeps on talking and bickering about random stuffs) . A very long and tiring afternoon ended as I reached home..

Today was a tiring day assignments  are given by every teacher. After keeping my bagpack aside and changing my clothes I just fell on the bed after few minutes I wake up as I felt hungry I haven't eat my lunch today due to my english assignment so I  headed towards kitchen to find something for me to eat after looking for few minutes here and there and deciding what to eat I finally hold a pack of instant noodles ( I like them too much bad  for my health but still they are too good for my taste)  while thinking about my lunch I just remembered that when I was with Raja we didn't talk too much except for assignment but in between our discussions I noticed that he looks more cute when he  smiles his eyes shrink and some wrinkles form at the edge of his eyes when he smiles to add charm to his handsome face their is a mole just below his lower lip.

(Ooohhh. my noodles are ready )before my mind could think any other stuff I shoved some noodles while blowing to cool it ( I am starving).

As I was about to turn my phone rang a message ( from mom: I am at your aunt's place when you arrive home directly come to her place and don't forget to buy your aunt Jane a gift )

What ? A gift for what . ( I thinking hard to remember whether it's aunts birthday or anything special when I realized that today is her marriage  anniversary. Huuhh.. not my fault as I really can't remember the important dates . Wait that means I can meet Nanny and can ask her about her well being as I Know she  was not feeling well during our school.)

Totally forget to tell you that apart from Nanny being my best friend she is also my cousin yes my mom and her mom are sisters   but not blood related but mom always considered her as her own sister same goes with me and Nanny . We are like real sisters she shares mostly all things with me (yeah except for one about her crush for Raja other than that I have a whole history about her celebrity crush to her present relationship) I am two months older than Nanny my father works as an employee in one of the renowned company  "Jersi" . Aunt used to live at other place till past two years than they shifted here near us ( you may have noticed that our names are quite same like a rhyming Nanny and Canny . Her mother owns a flower shop at the main street her father passed away two years ago  due to heart disease my mom usually in the afternoon goes to  her shop to help her. My mom usually spends her evenings at aunts house  that's why I was not bothered when she was not here earlier as its our routine that after I came back from school having something to eat and then sleep while in the  evening visiting my friend and cousin Nanny we do our homework,  sometimes play games and talk mainly she is the one who talks and I being a patient listener listens her . She have a older brother  he is our senior in the school unlike Nanny he is quite and  hates me that's what I think because he never talked to me and always avoided me .)

So after having my noodles I changed my clothes from shorts and top  to pants and a t shirt (my usual dressing for special occasions)

While locking the doors I was thinking about the gift for aunt Jane thinking what she would like as far as I know she likes things of decoration and sweets (yes she really like sweets like Nanny like mother like daughter but only in the matter of sweets other than that she totally have all the features of uncle Dray. Aunt specially like  coconut candy which I usually buys as I too like it I don't like candies but coconut candies are exceptional they are too good I think she will definitely like it I can gift her a box of it and can buy some candies for Nanny too as it is the only medicine for her silly talking. )

After buying the things I wanted I headed to aunt's place which is not too far from where I live it takes 15 minutes to reach there.

When I was passing by a street I heard noises at first I just ignored as it is of not my concern but then  I stoped as a familiar voice enterd  my ears yes its him how can I forget his voice its definitely....
