"Aunty Li, I'm off to work, bye~" she left to work without her aunt finish talking. She is Li Qi Ming, a cheerful girl. But her mother adore her brother than her,while her father adore her.

"Good morning, Doctor Li. How's your day going?" greet Doctor Xu, Qi Ming's friend. "Wow, formal nickname. I wonder since when did you change the way calling me?" they laughed. Then, split up to do their jobs. She is a psychologist while her friend a surgeon .

'Today is your brother's birthday, remember to buy him a cake and present.-Mom-. 

She just close her phone. Her mother never celebrated her birthday after her brother was born. The one who always celebrate hers was her grandparents, father, and friends.

"Qiqi, what would you like to eat for lunch. Aunty will cook for you." her aunt call. "Don't worry, I will eat out today. Oh, tell dad, don't wait for me in case I was late." then she hang up.

"Qi Ming, today is class gathering event. Do you want to go? " Xu Xin Lan ask. "Well, maybe. I need get approval from my dad." she answered. it "I heard he is back," Xin Lan whisper.

"Well, why did you whispered? It's not like I had hurt him," she's about to walk away but were stop by Xin Lan. "You did.... hurt him. You hurt his heart. There is still a scar in his heart. " Xin Lan said. She was about to burst into tears.

"It's the truth, Qi. You can't change the fate." continues Xin Lan. "Who said I can't change fate, as long as I work harder I can change it." Qi Ming smile and walk away while holding back tears.

'I'm sorry, Chen. I didn't mean to leave you. I'm really sorry on your accident 5 years ago. I dare not say it in front of you' she cried. 

'I wish we never met and all of this will never happen. Both of us will lead a happy life. But that's just an illusion. There's only a wish.' she cry and cry until her eyes almost swell. Then, she wash her face and tried her best to make sure that no one can see her swollen eyes.

After work hours, she waited for Xin Lan to knock off because they had promised to go together to class meeting party.

"Hey, our Miss University is here!" screamed Hailey, Qi Ming's coursemate. "Well, I guess someone gonna be eating a dozen of chilli today, right?" Qi Ming replied to Hailey. Then all of their friends laughed. They aren't eating yet as to wait for Luo Heng Xun, Qi Ming ex-boyfriend.

They haven't know that Qi Ming and Heng Xun have broken up. "I'm sorry for keeping you guys waiting. Today's meal are all on me." said Heng Xun.

Qi Ming tried to avoid eye contact with Heng Xun as she don't want to talk to him. She know if they have eye contact, Heng Xun surely will ask why she asked to broke up. They talked and partying till late night. All of them went home as they all exhausted talking and laughing.

  "Qi Ming." call Heng Xun. Qi Ming tried to run but her hand got caught by Heng Xun. "Qi, are you trying to run away from me?" question Heng Xun. "Why would I run? I didn't do anything wrong, right?" she tried to escape but Heng Xun grip was too strong.

"Are sure you didn't do anything wrong, Qi Ming? Have you forgotten how you broke my heart in the past?! Have you?!" his voice getting high. He almost lost his tempers and tighten his grip. Qi Ming almost burst into tears but she hold back. She don't want him to see her weak side.

"Yes, I'm very sure, Mr Luo. I hope Mr Luo won't disturb me ever again. Can you please let go of my hand." she said using formal pronunciation.She acknowledge him that he hate people who aren't his staff call him formally like that.

Heng Xun let her hand off and she rushed towards her car. Without further ado, she drives home as all in her head right now was her father. Her father will feel uneasy if she comes home late.

At the same time, Luo Qing Shen, Heng Xun's uncle saw her in a rush. He just walk past and saw Heng Xun standing there in daze. "Un.... Uncle! What are you doing here?" Heng Xun asked Qing Shen when he saw him." Since when do you start questioning me? Anyway, I'm just walking past and stop by to see you." Qing Shen answered.

"We should go home, that old man want to see us. " said Qing Shen. 'Why you haven't changed the way you're calling grandfather, uncle? Do you hate him to the bone that you don't even want to call him father?' Heng Xun thought." Why are you still standing? " asked Qing Shen." Oh, sorry! " said Heng Xun. He rushed to his uncle.

"You're back. Come and sit.I have something to say to you guys." said the old master, Master Luo. Then,they sit and wait for him to start the conversation. "Qing Shen, you're nearly 30 years old this year. I had found a suitable wife for you. Tomorrow, your sister will bring you to meet her." said Master Luo.

"Didn't I said don't interfere in my personal life?" said Qing Shen with annoyed face. He get up and leave. He went to his apartment. He didn't change his clothes first instead he fell asleep on the couch.

The next morning, Qi Ming aunt, Aunt Li Xin brought her to meet her blind date partner. Then, her aunt leave as soon as they arrived. She was lead by the waiter to the table that was reserved.

"Umm... Hi." Qi Ming greet him. "Hi. Have a seat Miss Li." said her blind date partner. They both sit and ordered. "I'm Luo Qing Shen, President of Luo Corporations .What about you? " said Qing Shen. Qi Ming was shocked to hear that his surname was Luo. "Err... I'm Li Qi Ming. I'm a psychologist. Nice to meet you, Mr. Luo." said Qi Ming.

"I'll make things short. 1 year marriage and we will divorce. "said Qing Shen. 'What in the....? He thinks he marry a mannequin? A doll? Well, I don't want to marry him anyway. So, just accept his offer.' thought Qi Ming.

" Then, okay. I accept your offer, Mr. Luo.I need to go first. I have a ton of paperwork to do. So, goodbye. "said Qi Ming and she left.

" Assistant Xia, check her background. I want everything on my table by tonight. " he said and left to take fresh air.

He was lost in thought and came back to sense when he heard his smartphone ringing. He answered the phone." Qing Shen. Where are you? When are you coming back to California again?" said a woman with sweet voice to lure Qing Shen. "I'll be back next year. That old man had found a wife for me." said Qing Shen.

While, Qi Ming still thinking about Qing Shen. 'His surname is Luo. Does he have a connection with the Luo family? If he does, it's mean, he have a connection with Heng Xun. If I marry him, that's mean, I'll be in touch with Heng Xun. Arghhh!!! I'm a mess. Why right now I can think rationally?' she almost shout out the word.

"Hey, Qi Ming. Why are still here? Or you're going to take over my night shift? "asked Xin Lan. "Take over your night shift my ***! I would rather spend time with my father and aunt than spending it accompanying the patients.So, I'll get going now. Bye, Doctor Xu." said Qi Ming and walk away while waving.
