Our family is one of the richest and most powerful families in the world but just like every other powerful families, this one also has a huge secret. Not so surprising now is it?

Well, the secret is that once in a century, one male who has even half of the Lan blood in his veins will get the ability to give birth to a child. Why and How? So at age 15, I started getting interested in the BL novels. I started making them with the pen name Zhan cause I love the name and I like the vibes it gives. I made a lot of money out of it but I kept my identity secret for everyone. No one in the family knows about my side activity, all they know is that I do freelancing photography.

I made friends with an online editor who lives in country A, Han Bo Yi. She is a fujoshi. She is now my permanent editor. She has a huge part of my escape plan. She helped me make a fake passport and identity of a boy named Zhan who is an orphan. So basically I'm using my online identity to run away so my family won't be able to track me. I've already written a letter to my family asking them not to worry and that I'll return after I have experienced the normal life. I know they all will be really worried and will freak out but I really need to get out of the nest. I don't want everyone to think that I'm a spoiled brat who got everything on a gold platter. I need to let them know that I'm not as delicate as they think, I can survive on my own.

So now I am on the plane going towards country A and my new normal life for the next few years. I'm going to have so much fun. I'll try to find a great guy to date, write lots of novel, work on some of my new tech projects with my AI ROSE, oh! and I can even continue my photography. I've heard that country A has lots of great places. One thing I have mastered after all these years of being a young master is how to do perfect multitasking. I'm so excited about my future.

Xiao Fu Chen, the one and only heir to the Xiao Enterprise, the largest and the leading company in the country A and many other countries. He has never had a single scandal with any women or even men over all these years. All they ever know about him is that he is the sole heir of the Xiao family and the current CEO of the Xiao enterprise. Though because of his handsome appearance and great background, he has taken the most eligible bachelor's place. He cold and indifferent towards everyone after his parents' death at a young age. He has been brought up by his grandparents.

The Hong City International Airport. 

Flight 2937 has landed.

A young girl around 20-year-old can be seen happily waving the board with 'ZHAN' written on it. She has dyed her hair light green. Her eyes is brown colored. She is wearing a baggy t-shirt and loose sweatpants with sports shoes. The passengers get out of the terminal 5 and everyone is going to their destined pickup person.

A young guy, not more than 165cm tall with a mop of brown curly hair with hints of red in it, wearing sunglasses and a casual large plain black hoodie with black jeans and ankle-high black boots to complete the all-black look is getting out while looking around with excitement to find something or someone. He removes his sunglasses and reveals his greenish-blue eyes with gold flicking within it. He sees the board with 'ZHAN' in a young girl's hand and runs towards her with his luggage trolling behind.

"Bo Yiiiii" screams the boy as he runs as fast as he could. On the other hand, the said Bo Yi puts the board aside and starts running towards him also screaming, "Zhannnn" creating a scene. Everyone around them looks at them weirdly. But as they see Zhan, they are all speechless because of his beauty. Zhan and Bo Yi hug each other.

"Zhan, I am so happy to finally meet you. You have no idea how much I wanted to hu you. Aww, you're even cuter in person." Bo Yi says and ruffles Zhan's hair. Even Bo Yi is taller than him. Zhan blushes and pouts at the same time.

"I also wanted to meet you so eagerly. I can finally hug you and cuddle." Zhan says with a coy smile. Bo Yi smiles and takes luggage from him. "I can carry it!" Zhan protests but Bo Yi just shakes her head and says, "Nahhh! you can't. Look at you, you're so small and skinny. Do you even eat? I need to feed you a lot now that you're here. Let's go. Your apartment is ready as per your requirement. You'll love it." Zhan stops protesting and follows her and gets excited about his own apartment.

He had earned a lot but he never had to spent it because his parents and uncles paid for whatever he wanted and whenever he got cash from them, he always deposited them in his account under the name of Zhan. That is how he could buy his own apartment in a high-class area. It's exactly like how he always wanted in his dreams. At the highest floor with a whole city view from the large glass wall.

Everything is going to be perfect in the next few years. Zhan thinks with excitement.

Flight 2387 has landed at the same time with flight 2937.

Passengers get out from the terminal 4. A really handsome guy gets out from it directly going towards his secretary when he spots him with another guy following him with the luggage. The guy is at least 180cm tall if not more. He is wearing a full gray and black Armani suit with a perfect professional look. His hair is perfect jet black. His eyes are honey brown. He has a straight face and his gaze is cold as he walks.

He stops in his trial as he hears a really pleasant voice screaming, "Bo Yiiii" He turns and looks towards the source of the voice. What he found is something that he had never imagined in his wildest dream. There, running the most beautiful human, he has ever seen. He suddenly feels something that he himself doesn't recognize. He pays more attention to the running person and checks him out when another scream could be heard, "Zhannn" a girl screams who is most likely to be the 'Bo Yi'

So his name is Zhan. The guy thinks. "Mr.Xiao, is something wrong?" his secretary who now has walked up to him since he stopped in midway. "No, everything is fine." Fu Chen says with a smirk which turns into a frown and he clenches his jaw as he sees the two hug tightly. Both of the other guys tense up at the sudden change in his expression.

"I need all the details on that guy, I think his name is Zhan. I want it to be in my emails as soon as I reach my apartment." Fu Chen says with now a neutral expression. His eyes are still fixed on the duo as they interact and his mood gets even more sour. His secretory gets his phone out at lightning speed and clicks the photos of Zhan for the investigation. He sends the photos to their private investigator.

Fu Chen looks at him and says, "Tao, send me those photos." He sees as the duo gets out of the gate and he also starts getting out and gets in his car. "Take me to my apartment. I'll go to the company on Monday. I'll take the weekend off." he says and Tao looks surprised at that but doesn't question it. The car starts and they are on their way. Fu Chen lives in the apartment in the city as it's closer to the company than Xiao villa. He has no time to waste but now he, himself is saying that he is getting the weekend off.

At the Alistar Recidency apartment building. 

Fu Chen's car enters the parking and he gets out of the car and asks the other two to leave. He starts walking towards the lift with his suit jacket now in his hand. Just as the car leaves, another car enters. Fu Chen doesn't pay any attention to it and presses the button to call the lift. After a minute or so, the lift door opens and he enters.

The lift door was going to close but a voice screams, the same voice as the airport, "Keep the door open for us." he heard Zhan's voice and immediately presses the button to keep the door open. Zhan gets into his sight with Bo Yi trailing behind him with luggage,

"Zhan wait for me, stop running. I have to carry the luggage." Bo Yi complains but Zhan doesn't pay any attention to her as he stares at the most handsome guy he has ever seen. Zhan can feel his heart beat faster. Wow! He is so handsome. Zhan thinks. He can't take his eyes off him.

Fu Chen clears his throat and says, "You getting in?" Zhan starts blushing and Fu Chen smirks. His mood is already getting better. "O-oh yes." Zhan stutters out and gets in the lift. Bo Yi also gets in the lift with the luggage.

"Why do you run so fast?" Bo Yi asks. "You're the one who insisted on carrying the luggage. I didn't ask you. Well, let me tell you something. I just look skinny but I'm really strong. I cleared the advanced martial arts stages at 9 and I know a lot of other fighting technics." Zhan says with laughter as he sees the expression on Bo Yi's face. "Why didn't you tell me before?" she asks with a whine. "I was enjoying your pampering and you looked really happy to help me so I didn't tell you," Zhan says sheepishly. Bo Yi just shakes her head but a fond smile is tugging on her lips. Zhan sees as the handsome guy who makes his heart beat faster presses the floor button and it's the same as his and he's really happy about the information.

Fu Chen hears the conversation between the two. He can't help but smile even though it's so out of character for him. The younger guy is just too bright to not to smile while being with him. He presses the 44-floor button. "Oh! we're on the same floor. I just came here from abroad and going to move in today. My name is Zhan. What's your name?" Zhan says with his hand extended. Fu Chen shakes his hand firmly and says, "That's good. I'm Xiao Fu Chen." Bo Yi's eyes go wide at realisation but she keeps her mouth shut as to not say something offending.

Bo Yi's phone rings suddenly and she picks up. She talks on the phone as the lift comes to stop and they get out on their floor. Fu Chen helps Zhan get the luggage out as Bo Yi is on the phone. "Zhan, I'm so sorry. I think I'll have to leave. Something has come up and I need to go. Can you manage on your own? Here's the keys." Bo Yi says. "No worries, Bo Yi. I can manage. You can go back first. Thank you for picking me up. I'll call you later." Zhan says and Bo Yi nods and leaves hurriedly.

Now, there are only two of them left in the lobby with luggage. "Let me help you. Which is your apartment number?" Fu Chen says and starts collecting the luggage and walking. "It's 4404," Zhan says and Fu Chen stops in from of the apartment door and looks at him as he says, "Mine is 4403. We're neighbors."

Zhan can't describe the happiness he is feeling. Everything is going so well. He is going to live in his dream apartment and not in a villa that also with a very handsome neighbor on whom he might have started to have a tiny miny crush. He can't get any luckier.

Fu Chen helps Zhan getting his things into the apartment. "Why don't to come over to my house for dinner tonight? Since you just settle in, I'm sure your fridge or kitchen is not as full as mine." Fu Chen asks Zhan to come over for dinner so he could know more about him. This is so out of character for him that he, himself is surprised. He never invites anyone in his apartment, but something about Zhan makes him want to wrap his arm around the guy and hide him away. Despite his internal monologue, he still manages to keep a neutral face.

"I'd love to but aren't I going to be a bother?" Zhan asks reluctantly because he wants to go to this mysterious guy. 'Is his face always poker like this.' Zhan thinks. "No, you won't be a bother. I'd like it if you could come over." Fu Chen says with a straight face. 'This guy needs to learn how to express himself.' Zhan thinks and chuckles. "You need to loosen up a little Fu Chen. Is it ok for me to call you that?" Zhan asks.

Fu Chen likes his name from Zhan's mouth. He rubs the back of his neck and says, "It's completely fine. You can call me by my name. So I'll see you at 7 pm at mine?" he says and gives a nod. Fu Chen ignores the comment about loosening up.

"Okay okay. Mister. I'll be there on time. Are you going to cook? If not I can. It's the least I can do. I'm a very good cook or at least I like to think so." Zhan says with a wink. 'I think I should make a move on him.' Zhan thinks. "Can you cook? Maybe we can cook together?" he asks.

"Oh!! Are you now? Well, guess what? I know my way around the kitchen too." Fu Chen says with a smirk and he can see the effect it has on Zhan. 'It's going to be fun with Zhan. I haven't found anything that had caught my attention in all these years.' Xiao Fu Chen thinks with excitement.

"Guess then it's settled. I'll be at your house at 6 pm, not 7 pm so we can cook together. I had like to call it a date if you don't mind Fu Chen." Zhan says with a blush but he hides it with a wink. Zhan doesn't know why but he wants to be with this guy. 'Get a grip, Zhan. You haven't even known this guy for more than a day, scratch that a few hours.' Zhan thinks trying to control himself.

"I suppose that those feelings are mutual then." Fu Chen says and smirks. He suddenly has an urge to hold Zhan. 'Why do I feel so on edge with Zhan. A person I don't know anything about. I have never felt this out of control of something or this drawn towards someone.' He thinks. He doesn't give it any more thoughts and pulls Zhan in his arms.

Zhan blushes when he is suddenly in Fu Chen's arms and god! It feels so good. 'What's happening to me?' he thinks and gives in to the embrace. But then suddenly he realizes something and he pulls away. "No way!!! It can't be that!" Zhan says out loud.

Fu Chen frowns at that and says, "What?" Fu Chen is confused. "Is everything alright? Did I misinterpret it?" he asks.

"NO! I mean no, you didn't misinterpret anything. I have something to tell you. Do you feel it? Do you feel this pull?" Zhan asks with anticipation.

"How do you know that?" Fu Chen asks with doubt. Zhan suddenly hugs him tightly knock him off the balance. Fu Chen is now laying on the floor and Zhan's small frame is on top of his.

"I can't believe my luck. I found you." Zhan says excitedly. There is one more thing to the Lan's secret and that is that each time the male gets this ability, his partner is always decided and no matter how much he tries to avoid it, he will always meet that one person and will always fall for him. He will be attracted to him the second they meet and the same goes for the other party. But there is also something about like there will be different types of connections between them after they kiss for the first time. Some couples felt each other's feelings, some shared the pain, some shared marks on the body.  'I was never against the idea. It sounds so cool to meet your destined one. I'm so curious about what type of connection or Bond I'll share with my partner. I have always been thinking about how my partner will be and I'm really satisfied with Fu Chen. But I can't tell him about my background just yet. I need to make up a story. Let's get your imagination on work Zhan.' He thinks and suddenly gets an idea. A sense of mischievousness comes over him.

"Wait, have we met before? I don't think so. What are you talking about?" Fu Chan says confused and a little frustrated that he doesn't know and that the situation is out of his control. Fu Chen sits up and Zhan is comfortably settling in his lap. Fu Chen frowns at the sudden change in his demeanor but don't push him away. In fact, he is feeling good about it. Something is different about this... whatever they have between them.

"Would you believe if I said that we were meant to meet?" Zhan asks with so much admiration in his eyes that Fu Chen can't help but smile.

"I usually don't believe in anything like destiny or fate if that's what you're talking about." Fu Chan says softly as to not hurt the boy if he said something offensive. He, himself is surprised that how much he cares about this boy about whom he knows almost nothing, that how much he wants this boy to be happy. It was never in his personality that he could be this bare in front of anyone, not even his family.

"Well, you don't need to. I'm also an atheist. But this something that we can't deny. Because I know it true. I'm sure. It may sound silly but I believe that what we are feeling and experiencing is enough of the proof." Zhan says with a coy smile.

"Amm, if you believe. I'm interested though. Continue, I'm listening." Fu Chen says as he plays with the end of Zhan's hair. 'They smell nice.' he thinks and smiles. He has smiled more in the last few hours than he did in the last whole year. 'Why is he affecting me so much? Why do I want him to be mine? Why does even the thought of someone else touching him boils my blood?' he thinks and pulls Zhan closer to him and their chests touch. He wraps his on hand around Zhan's narrow waist possessively. Zhan's small figure fits perfectly with his.

Zhan giggles and says, "I like the way you're pulling me close like I belong to you and no one can even look at me. So possessive. But.. I like it." Zhan finishes with a smirk. "We can discuss that later though. Let's continue with what I was saying. As you know, I just came to country A today. I am from America. I am an online novel writer but I also do freelance photography. I have an interest in robotics and tech too so I also work on one or two projects too." Zhan says.

"Hmm, that's impressive. But I thought you were going to tell me about why we were meant to meet." Fu Chen says as he looks in Zhan's eyes and he feels drawn to them.

"Shh, I'm going there. Just listen." Zhan says and puts his finger on Fu Chen's lips.

Fu Chen chuckles and says, "Ok ok. Whatever you need, your highness."

Zhan blushes but he smiles and starts again, "I once met a fortune-teller and he told me that I am not a normal guy and that I'll find my destined one and that there is no avoiding this encounter. He also said that whenever I'll meet the guy, I'll know that it's him. I will just feel it. The pull. He said that there will be a lot of surprises for us once we meet." 'well, I didn't lie a lot. My grandpa does do fortune-telling and he is the one who told me about it.' Zhan thinks.

"Wait, you said the guy. How were you so sure you'll end up with a guy?" Fu Chen says with a raised brow.

"I'm gay and I have no interest in girls plus he said that it will be a guy. I'm more of a science guy but I do believe in that fortune-teller. He is very trustable." Zhan replies. 'It's not like I can deny it when me and my ancestors are the biggest proof. But I still want to find out how his all works. I'm trying to study my biology for the last few years. If I can find out more about it, I might be able to help all the gay couples in the world to have their children. It will be a revolution.' Zhan thinks.

"So, you believe that fortune-teller so much? What if he was wrong? You sound so sure about him. Do you know him very well? Is he someone you know personally?" Fu Chen asks.

"Yes, I know him personally and very well. But let's not discuss that anymore. Let's discuss about ourselves. You feel it too, right? The pull. The attraction." Zhan asks to change the subject so he doesn't have to lie more.

Fu Chen notices that Zhan's avoiding the topic but he let it go thinking they have plenty of time to discuss it later. "Yes, I do feel it. In fact, the side you saw of me is something that is even new to me too. I feel so possessive of you that even thought of you being with anyone else boils my blood. I want you so much. I need you to be mine and only mine. Both your love and body. I have never felt like this to anyone. I have never been attracted to someone this much. So maybe whatever you're saying is true. Whatever it is, I don't care. What I know and care about is that you're mine now and I ain't letting you go ever." He says with a possessive tone.

Zhan feels a shiver down his spine at the possessiveness of the words spoken by Fu Chen. "But you need to know that you're mine too if you want me to be yours," Zhan says looking straight into Fu Chen's eyes.

"Of course, I'm yours. The second I saw you at the airport I knew that I'll make you mine." Fu Chen says.

"At the airport? We met in the parking lot." Zhan says with a confused look and pouty lips.

Fu Chen holds back a laugh at the look on the Zhan's face. He looks like a lost and confused puppy. He ruffles Zhan's hair and says, "I saw you at the airport too with that friend of yours. I also came back from my abroad meeting today. Our flights landed at the same time. I don't usually use public flights but this time I had to because of some technical problem with my jet." He smiles at the look of realization on Zhan's face.

"Oh! That is why it was so much crowded at the airport." Zhan says with a nod. "So, you have your eyes on me since then," Zhan says with a smirk.

Fu Chen clears his throat to hide a little blush creeping on his cheeks. "Yes, I have and now you're on my lap, aren't you?" this time Fu Chen says with a smirk.

"Wait, did you plan to meet me in the parking lot elevator?" Zhan says with wide eyes.

"What? No. It was a total coincidence. I sware." Fu Chen hurriedly explains. "I didn't know that you would be my new neighbor. But guess, I was lucky that I didn't have to find you in the whole Hong City." He adds.

"Well, whatever. I happy that we meet soon and without complications." Zhan says with a huge smile. "Now, tell me about yourself. What do you do? How old are you? What's your favorite color? What do like to eat? Wait, why do you look familiar?"  Zhan says in one breath.

"Stop stop stop. At least breath. One question at a time and yep think harder you might have seen my face at some business magazine or newspaper or social media." Fu Chen says with a smug look. He happy for once in his life for his popularity.

"OHHH!!!! Your that infamous, mysterious CEO of Xiao enterprise. OMG! you're that Xiao." Zhan exclaims.
