Prologue-
I walked past 252 street, ready for my mission. My coordinator rang so I picked up, " Micah have you arrived yet," my Captain questioned, "20 feet away from reaching Target," I answered. "Good, He does not like to be kept waiting, this abomination should never have happened, exterminate on site," on site I thought to myself, "Yes mam."
I reached the house it was ordinary which is surprising considering who's walked through these doors. I heard a women singing a sweet and calming melody in a room upstairs. I didn't bother trying to be quite, she cant hear me anyway. I was halfway up the stairs when I saw entities moving across the room.
Shit, this isn't supposed to be happening. Why are they here, I thought to myself and the only way to ever get past them without them hurting me is to turn back to a human. I quickly turned back and started running to the room.
The women who was gorgeous looked up and screamed in horror. "Who are you," she said. I looked at the child so carefully cradled in her arms wrapped in cloth with disgust, "You don't get to speak you disgusting wench," I said.
I grabbed the child and it felt a little fake, but I shouldn't judge considering who's child it is. The women screamed, "Not my baby, don't take my child! Please I'll do anything,"She screamed. I didn't care though this child is a tragedy to our world and it must be destroyed. I shot the women first, quickly I threw the dark matter around the room so i could get away safely without the entities following me and lastly I shot the child...
Jaclyn pov-
Life always seems to take you on a journey, and for the past 18 years that's just what I've been doing. I've done things people wish they could boast about and of course there's always going to be a few loose strings, but other than that I wouldn't change the way I do things. People may call me confusing or a little crazy, but if you could see the world in my eyes you would gladly join me.
"Um, where are you going again?" My friend Cat said. "Away from this miserable place, obviously where else." I said making it obvious since I always sneak out, even though ever since my 18th birthday I haven't been in the mood. "Seriously Jay you can't do this every time were on break from our lessons, and besides your almost of age till the church let's you go out anyway." She said with the same obvious tone of voice. " Oh please, I'll be fine and besides the Moon is about to come out of it's hiding place and I want to be there, your welcome to come along."I said with hope of intent she might finally give in, sadly my wishful thinking was let down with a no.
Without any more reason to stay I jumped off the 3rd. floor to a nearby tree, climbing down I started to run not wanting anyone to catch me. My legs lead me to where I long to be, the woods.
Me and Cas have been friends ever since she stole my last french frie at a local burger joint that the nuns took us too. Were both orphans that the church decided to adopt and although I really don't care how I got there Cas seems to be totally for finding her parents.
She often confides in me as all best friends do and I tell her about how I feel when i want too, but most of the time i keep to myself. She often calls me fake because I can put up an act on anyone, but hey I'm a Libra what does she expect me to be a Scorpio.
I reach the outside of the forest and for once in my life something just doesn't feel right. I ignore it, but I can't help shake the feeling that I'm going in the wrong direction.
This has often happened ever since i turned 18 a few months ago. I still ignore it, but suddenly my legs don't go, it's like time has stopped. my worst fear was then confronted with the truth. Something was defiantly wrong. I run anywhere my legs take me, like wings they move on thier own as long as the wind supports them.
As I rum deeper and deeper in the direction of the forest that my legs are going. The moon shows itself and how glorious it it upon the scenery.
I reach a spot in the woods that I didn't know I was even capable of. It was like Deja Vu, an entrance was covered with tree branches and flowers. i walked in not knowing what to expect, but for some reason it was calling me.
I entered averting my eyes everywhere it was beautiful. There we're many herbs and Lavender filled my nose as I breathed it in I walked deeper into the garden. I noticed that the whole place seemed to be in a some sort of bird cage architecture. there were benches with soft plush pillows and walk ways paved with rocks. Then out of nowhere there was a huge wood cottage that had a river flowing in between us and a bridge connecting us.
My eyes began to get sleepy from all the lavender filling my nose. I felt safe and at peace, so I decided to lay on one of the benches. Letting my hair drape over my face, I closed my eyes, letting my imagination take a hold of me now.
