Timewalker

chapter 1

"On his 21st birthday, Arjun discovered an old, dust-covered wristwatch in his grandfather’s attic—one that ticked backward and whispered the date of his death."

After seeing the watch he was confused he tried the watch on his best friend. As soon as his best friend wore the watch, time froze around them—the falling rain paused midair, birds hung motionless in the sky, and the only sound was the slow, eerie tick of the backward-moving hands.

He panicked he removed the watch from his best friend hand and wear on his own, trying various buttons on it.The moment Arjun pressed the red button on the side, the attic around him dissolved into mist, and he found himself standing in the middle of a bustling marketplace—but the signs were in Sanskrit, and a young Ashoka was giving a speech nearby.

He had wore different clothes from other, surroundings people was shoked to see him the gaurds start targeting weapons on him. Realizing he stood out, Arjun raised his hands in panic, but before the guards could reach him, the watch glowed blue and yanked him forward through a tunnel of swirling light, dropping him into what looked like a futuristic city floating in the sky.

As he was seeing his surroundings flying car, robots, flying bots, and floating houses he was again thrown to tunnel by the watch.

This time, he landed in a dark forest under a blood-red moon, where a hooded figure was waiting beside a fire—and before Arjun could speak, the figure said, “I’ve been expecting you, Timewalker.”

He was all dizzy due to time travelling and fainted then and there. When Arjun awoke, he was lying on a bed of glowing moss inside a tree-shaped house, the hooded figure watching over him and murmuring, “You’ve only scratched the surface—your destiny is tangled across centuries.”

Arjun was confused then the hooded figure came forward elaborating how his grandfather was also a timewalker. The hooded figure pulled back their hood, revealing a face marked with ancient symbols, and said, “Your grandfather guarded the watch to protect the timeline—but now, its power has awakened in you, and forces from the future want to control it.”

The hooded guy said further my name is Draco I am the gardian of different dimensions and I am responsible for maintaining peace within the realms. Draco’s voice was calm, but carried a weight that made the air around him feel heavier.

He looked at the Watch on his wrist and said, “That artifact chose you—not by chance, but by fate.”

Arjun was dumbstruck he asked in tiny voice felling the weight of the revelation "Why me ? "

Draco’s eyes softened, though the stars still flickered in them.

“Because your bloodline carries a fragment of the original time-thread—we call it the Aeternum Strand." Your earth is not the only one in the universe there are various realms and many evil forces ready to destroy this peace.

“And the Watch,” Draco said, gesturing to it, “is the only thing powerful enough to seal breaches between realms—or open them wide.”

chapter 2

Now after your grandfather it's your responsibility to protect it. “But power like this never goes unnoticed,” Draco added, his gaze shifting to the darkening sky. “There are those who would tear through time itself to claim it.”

Arjun recovered from the series of shocked with determination in his voice declared "I will continue my grandfather's legacy forward". A faint smile touched Draco’s lips. “Then there’s no time to waste,” he said. “The first fracture has already begun—in the realm of Noctyra.”

He opened the portal and drag Arjun to the land of Noctyra chaos has started in the land two forces standing infront of each other.

The sky above Noctyra swirled with violet lightning as two armies faced off—one clad in obsidian armor, shadows clinging to their weapons; the other shimmering with ethereal light, eyes burning with resolve.

The evil forces looking foreign to the planet sitting on large dragons and monstrous creatures creating a pressure on the people of the planet who with magical powers sitting on flying horses with different weapons in their hand determined to give their live to save their land and loved ones.

Arjun stared in awe and horror as the ground trembled beneath them; Draco placed a firm hand on his shoulder and said, “This battle decides more than just Noctyra—it will ripple through every realm connected by time.” You must step forward and use the magic within the watch to secure the hope of these people.

Arjun looked down at the Watch, its face now glowing with intricate symbols shifting like constellations; he took a deep breath, raised his hand—and time around him slowed to a crawl. Draco behind him guiding him to his first mission.

“Focus on the pulse of the Watch,” Draco said, his voice echoing as if outside of time. “Feel the thread of this moment—and pull.”

Arjun closed his eyes, and a beam of light burst from the Watch, freezing a charging dragon mid-air.

He stands in front of people all shocked seeing a misterious person among them and seeing frozen dragon in front of them. Where as evil lord spokes in his raspy and sinister voice "oh, so you are the chosen one". The evil lord, cloaked in dark flames, stepped forward atop his skeletal beast, eyes glowing like molten coals.

“You may have the Watch,” he sneered, “but you are far from ready to wield its true wrath.”

Arjun replied "It does not matter if I am new to these powers and responsibilities I will not allow you to win over the land. The evil lord let out a cold, echoing laugh that shook the skies.

“Very well, little Timewalker,” he hissed. “Then let this battle be your trial by fire.”

Other people recovered from the shocked and join Arjun for the war leaving their surprises and questions behind. With a unified cry, the warriors of Noctyra surged forward, their enchanted weapons blazing with renewed energy, rallying behind Arjun as a symbol of hope.

Draco drew his twin blades, glowing with starlight, and whispered, “This is how legends begin.”

As the dark forces crumbled into shadows and dust, a silence fell over Noctyra—heavy, sacred, and filled with the echoes of sacrifice. Arjun collapsed due to heavy injury in his very first battle.

Draco rushed to his side, cradling him gently as the Watch emitted a soft golden glow, trying to mend what time could still touch. The people surround their saviour and rushed him to the physician.

As they carried him through the war-torn streets, whispers of “Timewalker” and “Hero of Noctyra” rippled through the crowd like a rising chant of hope.

Arjun was treated there the physicians walking to and fro the door with different herbs with them. Draco stood silently outside, his gaze fixed on the stars above, whispering a silent plea to the ancient forces to spare the boy fate had chosen.

All people were praying for their saviour. A gentle breeze swept through the city, carrying their hopes and prayers like flickering lanterns into the endless night. On the other hand Arjun gain consciousness after one day with Draco besides him and people waiting for them outside.

Arjun’s eyes fluttered open, meeting Draco’s steady gaze, and with a faint but determined voice, he whispered, “This is only the beginning.” And then the watch flick golden taking them back to the cave. The swirling light enveloped them both, and in an instant, they stood once again in the shadowed cave where their journey had begun—time rippling quietly around them.

People outside see's the golden blinding light emerging from the room then disappearing into nothing. A hush fell over the crowd as the light vanished, leaving behind a lingering sense of awe—and a whispered question: “Where have they gone?”

The misterious timewalker stories left behind as an ancient legend with time. And so, the tale of Arjun and Draco passed through generations, a beacon of hope and courage whispered whenever darkness threatened to return.

Where as on the other hand with Draco and Arjun in the cave. Draco asked in panicked and worried voice "Are you okay !". Arjun took a shaky breath, eyes still adjusting to the dim light, and replied, “I’m alive… but something feels different—like time itself has changed around us.”

Draco takes a sigh of relief. He placed a hand on Arjun’s shoulder and said softly, “You did what even the ancients feared to attempt—you altered a fate-thread.” Now that we have time let me tell you about the powers within you and get ready to train hard.

Arjun nodded, determination rekindling in his eyes as he stood up slowly and said, “I’m ready—teach me everything, Draco.”

First let me tell you about this relic. He says "This relic comes in pair connecting you with your soulmate he/she is not necessarily from your realm " he further continued “This bond transcends time and space—when the second Watch awakens, it will call to its twin, drawing both of you together for a destiny neither can escape.”
