I look at the fan spinning on the ceiling, with bags under my eyes.

I was clearly tired, why can't I just sleep? I kept complaining to my friends that I was about to pass out but all of a sudden, my body hit the bed, the sleepiness was gone.

I wanna sleep but I also can't? The urge to sleep is there but somehow I just can't sleep, no matter how long I close my eyes, no matter how much sheep I counted, no matter how long I wait for my drowsiness to come and hit me, it just doesn't happen.

Suddenly, a notification came onto my phone. I looked at it and saw that the game I have been waiting for has been released!

Anyways, Little Heart Academy is a visual novel game where people and monsters come and learn to be cupids.

I downloaded the game and looked at the loading screen. After some time, I was met with the cover of the game and started the game.

I closed my eyes out of instinct, but I mean come on! You are in a dark room and all of a sudden some blinding light comes out, of course I'm gonna close my eyes!!!!!

I opened my eyes and started adjusting to the surrounding light, it was so damn bright… Did mama find out that I was staying up late and turned on the lights?

I looked around at my surroundings, I opened my eyes wide in shock.. It turned out I was in a completely new place?!?!!?

I found myself lying in a field of soft pink grass under a sky that split between day and night; one side was sunny, glowing with the warm and golden sun while the other side was decorated with twinkling stars that shines so bright, brighter than my computer screen's brightness level on max.

It was cute, dreamy… and definitely not my room…

“Where am I?”

“You are at Little Heart Academy, little human!”

I flinched when I heard a sweet melodious voice behind me, I turned around and saw a small cute fluffy rabbit that's standing on its two feet.

I was definitely confused, a rabbit that's speaking and standing? What the heck? But what pissed me off was that… ‘Little human'? Little rabbit had some nerves to call me that! I was clearly taller than you, thank you very much???!!?

“What's your name, little human?” That sweet melodious voice came back, but that standing rabbit creature didn't even open its mouth so it was impossible for it to speak! Unless it's talking to me in my brain??!!

The rabbit opened its mouth, “Stop playing with them, Miss Catherine. They're getting confused.” It had a squeaky like voice, not like the sweet voice I heard.

After some pink sparkle like effect, a tall cat lady popped out of nowhere and whined, “Aww.. Cotton, don't be so serious! It seriously doesn't match how you look!”

“Be serious.”

“Yes.. Yes.. Anyways human! What is your name?”

“Uhhh.. Yor Naim..” I said. Obviously, I'm not going to give out my actual name.. They are random strange animals that can stand and speak who I do not know a single information about..

“Ah! Yes! Yor Naim! Our newest student at the academy!! Isn't that great, Cotton? Our newest student arrived safely,” the cat lady said cheerfully.

“Wait.. Excuse me what!??”

Both of them looked at me at the same time.

“I’ll explain,” said the rabbit.

“Basically, you got accepted to be in our academy. Our 𝐂. 𝐑. 𝐄.𝐀.𝐓.𝐎.𝐑 made that decision. That's how we usually get new students, then our 𝐂.𝐑.𝐄.𝐀.𝐓.𝐎.𝐑 informs us when there'll be a new student.”

I also introduced myself cuz I was forced to. Dehlia then grabbed my wrist and dragged me everywhere. Telling me each location at the academy.

She then led me to my dorm and gave me the academy uniform.

“Oh ye, I need to inform you, the uniforms are customizable, you can make the uniform different from what it looks like. Honestly, the uniforms are optional. Just wear something appropriate for class and you'll be fine.”

It has been days since I've been stuck at this academy.

I'll be for real though, it's actually quite nice.

The teachers and students are nice, the food is absolutely scrumptious and delicious! There isn't much homework either.

The things we have to do are quite fun!

Archery, Matchmaking, Controlling Love's Intensity,Looking Out for Potential Disruption and Threat. Basic stuff for cupids.

I actually don't mind it here, everyone and everything is nice.

Maybe staying at Little Heart Academy won't be so bad after all.
