You walked out of the girls dorm yawning. You had already changed into your uniform and still wondered if you had woken any of the other girls. The sun was just starting to rise and the birds hadn’t started to sing yet. You made your way to the eating block and sat yourself down on the steps in front of it and hugged your knees to your chest. You had a year and a half till you graduated from the cadet camp and then you could join the survey corps with Eren. You blushed. All you wanted was to be with Eren but you knew you hardly had a chance. You always get to shy when you are near him so it is almost impossible to talk to him. Minding that, Mikasa is always with him so it’s hard to have a private conversation with Eren without her barging in. And on top of that your best friend hates Eren, and that best friend is Jean Kirschstein. You stared off into the sunrise as you thought of a way to maybe get closer to Eren. You didn’t notice that someone had sat next to you. “It’s beautiful isn’t it?” The person said. You jumped. Eren has sat next to you. “Ha ha, sorry, did I scare you?” He said smiling. You blushed and hid your face. “Y-yes” you answered. Eren laughed again. “You get scared really easily” he said. You nodded. “How are you feeling?” He continued. You lifted your head nervously and looked at him. His emerald green eyes shone in the morning light. “Um... I’m feeling tired” you answered nervously. “Me too” Eren replied. “But today we get to practice in the ODM gear again! Aren’t you exited (y/n)! Your great at it!”. You blushed. “Ha ha, I’m not that good but thanks anyway” you said smiling. Eren’s smile soon turned to a frown. “(y/n)?” He said. You looked at him curiously. “Can I ask you a question?” You nodded nervously. “Why are you always so nervous around me? I mean, you always look so uncomfortable. Did I do something to cause that or what is it?” You froze in shock. You blushed and hid your face in your hands. “You didn’t do anything it’s just that I-. You were cut off. “Oi Yeager!” Jean yelled “What are you doing to (y/n)?!”. Eren stood up. “N-nothing!” He growled. Eren walked off. Your heart sank. That was your only chance to talk to him and Jean ruined it. You stood up. Might as well get on with the day.

You zipped around trees, avoiding thick branches. Most of the other cadets had gone back to camp but you. And some others stayed behind to practice. It was always the same people too; You, Eren, Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie, Marco, Jean, Mikasa and Armin but Mikasa and Armin hadn’t come today due to the both having a fever. You flew into a clearing and went deeper into the woods. There weren’t many titan dummies down this end but you still liked going back down here. All you didn’t know was that someone was following you. “Look out!” A voice yelled. Your head whipped around but it was to late. The cadet crashed into you and you both fell to the ground. Your ODM gear had fallen off from the impact and scattered everywhere. “Shit!” The cadet said. You recognised the voice. It was Eren. “Hey (y/n)! Are you ok?!” He stressed. You didn’t talk. “Let me help you” Eren insisted. He held out his hand infront of you. You let him help you up. He lifted you up and you stumbled. “Woah, be careful, you could fall over again” He said smiling. You blushed and looked away from him. You started to put your ODM gear back on and noticed that Eren hadn’t gone away yet. “Eren why aren’t you going on with practice?” You asked curiously. Eren seemed surprised. “Oh um well... I can’t just leave you here alone can I?” he chuckled. You blushed harder. You finished putting on your gear and walked over to him. “You done?” Eren asked. You nodded. Eren sighed. “You never got to answer my question earlier, all because of that damed horse face” he said “So... Why are you always nervous around me?” You gulped. “Well..” you started. You rubbed the back of your neck. “I’m n-nervous around you b-beacause....” you paused. Eren walked closer to you till his nose was touching yours. “You can tell me” he whispered kindly. “I-I like y-y-you...” you muttered. Erens eyes widened slightly. “I’m not surprised” he answered, grabbing your hips and pulling you closer. Your face turned red. “I thought it might be something like that” he continued “Well let’s just say I like you too.” He kissed your nose making you jump slightly. His lips made there was to your lips slowly. He kissed you gently. He eventually pulled his lips away from yours and hugged you close. “You don’t have to nervous around me anymore” he said quietly. You hugged him back and dug your face into his chest. He laughed and stroked you hair softly.

You glared at Jean from your table. You scoffed. You knew he had stolen something from you and you knew exactly what it was. It was a necklace that you had always worn but Jean decided he’d steal it. You had been enimies since you had first met but you couldn’t help but feel some way toward him and it wasn’t hate.... what was it? You rolled your eyes. Jean noticed you staring at him. He smirked cheekily. He poked tongue at you. You flared your nostrils and poked your tongue too. Sasha snorted beside you. You turned to her. She looked at you cheekily. “What!?” You growled. “Oh nothing” she started “ it’s just you two look so cute when your fighting”. You slapped Sasha across the back of the head. She laughed. “You know” Reiner said “You have to get along with him some day”. You scoffed. “Yeah I know but it won’t stop me hating him” you grumped. Reiner laughed. You were confused. “Yeah sure, but I thought you would be happy that your here, it is the survey corps after all”. You rolled your eyes. You had almost died on the first expedition beyond the walls same with everyone else. “Yeah well I wasn’t intending to bring all of you with me” you muttered, standing up. “ Where are you off to?” Connie asked curiously. You paused. “I’m going to my room” you answered. “Oh ok, bye!” Connie smiled. You sighed and walked to your room.

You slammed the door behind you. An image of Jean had stuck itself in your mind on the way here. You growled to yourself. “Stupid dammed horse face”. You walked into the middle of your room. You stopped. You heard foot steps. Your door creaked open. You turned around. Jean stood in the doorway holding up your necklace. “I believe you’ve lost something miss (y/n)” he teased. You pouted. Jean walked into your room and closed the door behind him. “Give it back asshole” you growled. Jean smirked menacingly. “Are you crazy?” He sighed. You bit your lip and smiled. “I might be” you answered. Jean laughed. He flicked your forehead. “Maybe... I am too” he whispered. “Your a yandere” you teased. “Oh your not the one to talk tsundere” Jean chuckled, leaning closer to you. He rubbed your bottom lip with his thumb. “You trying to play dirty with me Jeany-boy?” You asked, smiling. He moved his hand from your lip and onto you neck. “Maybe” he said sexily. “You know” he started “maybe you should stop biting your lip”. “Why” you muttered. “Because it’s kinda attractive and I don’t want anyone to get with you” he whispered. You scoffed. “Yandere” you teased. Jean chuckled. “Maybe” He smirked, moving closer to you. He stay silent and kept getting closer. Eventually your lips were almost touching. “I don’t care how much you hate me (y/n), I’m still gonna love you” he whispered. You giggled. “Just shut up and kiss me Jeany-boy” you laughed. You stood awkwardly next to Reiner. He sighed. He was sitting on the ground trying to hide his face. “I can’t believe we both ran out of gas” he complained, looking up at you. You looked down at him. You rolled your eyes. “Well, for once it’s not our fault” you muttered. Reiner nodded. You were right. Reiner and you had gotten into lots of mischief together and mucked up a lot of things too but neither of you had done anything this time. It was all Eren’s fault. He had run out of gas and both Reiner and you had given him one gas cylinder each to him and run out really quickly after that. So now you were stuck in the middle of the training area till tomorrow. You clenched you’re fists. “I’m going to kill Eren!” You growled. “Woah, woah, woah!” Reiner said getting up “I know your stronger than him in all but don’t kill him! He’s a good person!”. You laughed. “You take things too seriously!” You chuckled. Reiner looked annoyed. He flicked your forehead. “Puppy” he teased. Your eye twitched. He had started calling you that because he thought you acted like a puppy. You blushed. “D-don’t call me that you-!” You paused. You couldn’t think of anything to call him. “U-um...y-you...um...chicken nugget!”you stuttered. Reiner looked at you cluelessly. He smiled. “Oh so I’m chicken nugget and your puppy eh” he laughed. You pouted. “Why chicken nugget though?” Reiner smiled. “B-because of your hair! It’s a similar colour to a nugget and because um....” you stopped. “That’s what I thought” Reiner muttered. You blushed again, ashamed. Reiner ruffled your hair and smiled. “Your a good friend (y/n) but sometimes I think your to good for me” Reiner sighed. You were startled. “What do you mean?” You asked. Reiner stopped ruffling your hair. “I’m um...there’s something about me that you probably wouldn’t like” he said nervously. “I’m pretty sure I already know what it is”you said quietly. Reiner was surprised. He looked into your eyes, worried. “What?...you know?” He mumbled. You nodded. “W-what is it t-then” he continued. You sighed. You reached for Reiners right hand and held it up along with your right hand. “Your a titan” you murmured. “H-how do you know that?!” Reiner stressed. You looked to your right hand. “I’ve got the same bite mark” you sighed. Reiner stay silent for quite some time. He clenched his teeth together than lunged at you and hugged you tight. You were shocked. “Don’t tell anyone” Reiner growled. That was only a joke. You were a titan but you didn’t know Reiner was one too. You had always thought he bit his hand in his sleep but apparently not. “I can’t breathe” you wheezed. Reiner stopped hugging you and stepped back a little. You caught your breath and stood up straight. “I-I’m sorry I didn’t know” you said, looking at the ground. “It’s ok puppy, I needed to get that off my chest” Reiner started, smiling softly at you. “Well since we’re sharing secrets now I have another to tell you”. You looked up at him. He sighed, but still smiled. He leant in closer to you and laughed. “Why are you so small?” He chuckled. You pouted. “You know why! Just get on with the secret!” You said. Reiner laughed again. “Ok ok, I’ll get on with it” he whispered“but I think it’s better explained in actions than words”. You crossed your arms. “Ok, just get on with it! Kick me in the a$s for all I care! I just want to know!”you squeaked. Reiner chuckled. “Sure”. His face came closer to yours making your cheeks flush bright red. What was he doing? He kept getting closer to you. You gulped. Now you knew what he was trying to do. Your thought was soon interrupted. Reiner kissed you gently making you jump slightly. You felt your face get hot. You wanted to pull away but you didn’t. You had wanted this for a while now but didn’t know how to react. You tried to relax but it was hard. To many things to worry about. But sometimes it was better to focus on the good things that were happening now. So you pushed those bad things behind you and focused on now, where you wanted to be. With Reiner. You relaxed. Finally.
