"Which way?" He spoke not as if it was a question but more as if it was a common occurrence and therefore tired of repeating it. Which, as a matter of fact it just so happened to be.
"She's taken the east corridor for a change." The Butler gave his daily report, all without raising his head.
"The Balcony?" He said with a grin, taking slow strides in that direction. All the while onlookers shook their heads at the repetitive events.
"She only does this routine for His attention." Lady Carmel or (Mistress No.4) addressed her group of followers, watching the esteemed Lord calmly chase after his prisoner like a Lion playing with its food before the kill.
"Oh most definitely! He spends so much time running after that thing he hardly has enough energy to visit his mistresses." Her handmaiden exclaimed to appease her Lady. Who squinted her eyes at the Butler who was now fidgeting quite uncomfortably.
"She's the reason he hasn't visited your chambers recently Ma'am, not because the lordship has disfavoured you." The follower continued, unbeknownst to Lady Carmel's curiousity with the Butler... Whereas Carmel knew it wasn't curiousity she felt, but outrage instead as the butler started rummaging about with his trousers, just where was his hand reaching down to? Surely not!...
"Are you okay My Lady you have gone pale?" A different maid questioned.

Alicia's Pov (Female Protagonist)
It was hard to contain her humour as She sent the Lord the wrong directions, keeping a straight face was quite nearly impossible.
Much like staying in this Butler disguise for a second longer as her bound chest exclaimed there discomfort. And when she peered down from beneath her cap it came quite clear one of the socks she had stuffed in her trousers was slipping, therefor she had no other choice but to reach down and put it back into place. And it was in that moment that a large thud was heard from her right.
"Lady Carmel has fainted! Fetch the physician!"
Taking this as a queue to leave she weaved her way through the alarmed crowd that had swarmed there way around the scene. Alicia headed towards the main exit, deciding that confidence is key and so confidently strolling right past the guards she acted like nothing was out of the ordinary.
However upon reaching the main entrance and being able to quite successfully walk through undetected, Alicia thought to herself that It couldn't be this simple. And as always that voice of reason was correct when her legs were most literally lifted off the ground and she was thrown over the shoulder of a gleaming Lord Easton, fortunately her current position made it impossible to actually see the smug look she knew no doubt he wore.
"You thought you could play dress up and I wouldn't recognise you?" Ignoring the question Alicia just let him have his moment to gloat over her capture. Knowing either way he was going to continue to remind her of his triumph.
"Lady Carmel has fainted again." His Tone made it perfectly clear that the reason behind her collapse was no mystery.
"You should send a physician for her weak body." Was Her blunt reply.
"Ah My Lord there you are, it seems my uniform is missi..., Miss Alicia I didn't recognise you... I say are those my trousers!" Gerald The Head butler stumbled Dressed in his nightwear.
"Good Day Gerald I will return them clean upon the hour, However I'm caught up at the present moment." She replys as ladylike as one can when they are hanging off the back of their Master. Taking one look at the Lord's impatient face the butler hurriedly bowed.
"Not to worry Miss you may have them, I'll find some in the lost and found, May I be excused My Lord?" The poor man answered not wanting to lose his Job as well as his clothing.
"Dismissed." Regaining a tighter grip around her waist, they continue on the uncomfortable journey to her confined chambers were she had just gone through all the efforts to escape from.
"Okay, shall we go over the plan one more time?" Alicia spoke aloud staring at her terribly drawn pencil marks wrote on a spare parchment. She turned to stare at her only maid and raised an inquisitive eyebrow in her direction.
"Your plan is just a drawing of you running quickly past the Lord and through the door... and you want me to tell you if it's a good idea or not?" The maid and her only friend (Melanie) dryly replied draping herself over the back of a chair in boredom.
"Well all my clever plans have failed..."
"They were all quite terrible really." Mel interrupted
"....so I'm suggesting something easier, I will simply sprint past the guards and out to freedom." She continued as if nothing was mentioned. Melanie rose from her slouched position and stretched before walking over to Ali and prying the parchment out of her reluctant hands she then proceeded to chuck it out the window and onto an unsuspecting passerby.
"You know as well as I do that you don't have it that bad here, you've got food, a roof, servants, you can attend extravagant balls and meet wealthy people. It could be alot worse."
"A beautiful cage is still a cage. I can't leave and I'm watched constantly yes I can meet those that enter the estate but God forbid if any bachelor's want to speak to me, having only the company of bitchy ladies every day is torture mentally and physically." Alicia finished Ranting throwing herself ungracefully on the bed and motioning for Mel to join her.
"The Lord favours you, all the court ladies know this and it's why you are kept away from the men that are only after one thi..n.. AHH" She started teasing but was met with a pillow to the face barely ducking in time the maid ran out of the room quickly, not shortly followed by Ali who was armed with the previous pillow.

Lord Easton however was discussing matters with his current advisor when what looked to be a white ball shape came falling down, taking place on the soft grass Infront of him. Under closer inspection it was quite clearly someones discarded paper and upon opening, it became clear just whose words of unfathomable stupidity it belonged to. Rising his head to the window that stood two stories up a Hidden grin crept up his face so slight that to those watching it lay undetected.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh did they leave the door open? Some stray animals seem to be inside." Lady Carmel cackled to her flock. All of them copying her and simultaneously giggling behind a carefully place hand. Alicia put down the pillow she had been holding in a threatening position.
"Yes I didn't want to say anything, but there appears to be a bunch of sheep following you." Ali said in monotone.
"Hmm I see you haven't packed yet...oh sorry you weren't invited were you?" Carmel now wore a smug look as her comment drew attention to the pile of luggage situated behind her.
"She's not even allowed out the Estate, let alone out of this Town." A Sheep bleated beaming with the desire to be rewarded by its leader.
"Can I just say I'm going to miss everyone single one of you." Alicia mockingly Smiled knowing that what annoys Lady Carmel most is Being Nice. "Come on Mel let's go back to my room and look longingly out of the window."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What trip are they talking about? The trip back to Hell Hopefully." Mel mumbled.
"Probably some rich banquet where they eat Infront of the less fortunate and laugh." Ali Replied hanging upside down on the bed, her dark hair falling all over her face.
"Well your half right."
Both of them looked up at the intruder leaning against the door.
"Are you here to gloat about how I'm never going to leave here?" Ali spoke to the currently upside down figure of Lord Easton.
"The Opposite actually Your coming with us."
Lying wasn't something that he did but on this occasion that was left to be determined.
"Let me get this right, you want to take me OUT of this prison for some party no less?"
"Well I have come to the conclusion that it's safer to have you under my watch instead of miles away from me causing chaos."
"Smart decision, honestly what will go wrong? When did u become so clever?" Alicia asked with a cunning smile.
"Don't worry you will still be under constant supervison, so don't plan anything." Easton walked over to where she was lying and reached out his hand successfully pulling Ali up. "Pack your things we will be waiting outside."
The door closed behind him and Mel lifted her head from her respectful position. They both shared glances before Ali threw a handful of random mess into a chest.
"Done" She smirked rubbing her hands together.
"Somehow I don't think this is what the Lord meant when he said packing." Mel sighed but picked up the chest anyway.
"I't doesn't matter, because this whole thing is suspicious, I mean it doesn't make sense and it's not like him to be reckless.…" Ali moved the curtains to the side gazing down at the bustle of excited women cramming into the carriages.
"How many people are going?" She further examined the long line of carriages that stretched out as far as the gates.
"Uh, well there's all the mistresses, their maids, the servants, butlers, cooks and of course the lord himself." Mel used her fingers to count and nearly caused the chest to fall out of her arms.
Alicia turned around from her position near the window and stared at her friend in confusion.
"Why aren't the Informants and The lords councillors going? Surely they would tail their master everywhere whispering and watching."
"I don't know, but we should hurry before we're left behind with those Old gossipers." Mel huffed struggling to hold the case as it continued to slip from her grasp.
"He wouldn't leave without me." Ali smirked passing by Melissa and taking the chest off her while she did and carrying it out the door.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"If she takes any longer we should leave without her!" Lady Carmel cried angrily from the inside of her carriage. "Tell Lord Easton to set off already." She ordered the footman who seemed uncomfortable with the demand to yell at the man that pays his wages.
"Alright keep your hat on, I was only saying goodbye to this beautiful prison, how I will miss it." Ali draped herself dramatically over the outside Bannister's.
"Miss? May i take your stuff?" Another footman approached Ali and reached for the chest.
"Oh thank you Hank, can you put in an empty carriage please, I'm afraid if I have to sit next to Carmel I'm sure to be travel sick." Alicia gracefully curtsied before sending a rude hand gesture over to the ladies direction.
"Certainly Miss," Hank stifled his laugh and went about his work.
Unfortunately the journey was quite uneventful mostly because the whole time Alicia was Fast asleep, which was strange due to this being the first time in a while that she had left the estate and yet instead of soaking up the atmosphere she was snoring without a care in the world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lord Easton had signalled for a break as all carriages pulled over to the side off the dirt path.
"Are you hungry?" Lord Easton Asked as he pulled open a certain door, when he saw that it was just the maid not His Alicia to welcome him, his face dropped down to its usual emotionless position.
"Where is she?" He coldly asked. In reply Mel submissively stepped aside and showed the unladylike image of her master sprawled out on the settee drool hanging from the corner of her mouth.
"leave" With that one word Mel hurried out of the stuffy carriage and outside.
Lord Easton took a seat beside the sleeping beauty who let out a sharp snore. His eyes slowly closing as he took a rest from his otherwise busy schedule to enjoy the quiet side of Ali that many don't get to see.
"Do you mind?"
He sighed opening his eyes and Looked at the woman next to him who stared back with raised eyebrow. Lord Easton couldn't help but smile As she was clearly trying to seem intimidating and yet with her bed hair and drool stained cheek it was just humourous.
"There's some food being served outside, how about making yourself presentable and joining me." He offered reaching forward and wiping her mouth before withdrawing and leaving the carriage with the intention of being followed.
