Chapter 1

Hi I'm Jess and this is my story. I wake up to the sun shining so bright like diamond, the first thing I notice is that today is my birthday YES! now i'm able to learn how to drive. As I go down stairs I see my dad wearing his badge about to leave before he goes I asked him if I could learn how to drive this time he knew he couldn't say no but as usual he said it was too dangerous for me I was like DAD! everyone gets to drive and I don't you know I'm 18 now so why not let me learn. Before my dad could say anything he got a phone call, I got my breakfast and went on the bus in the back meeting my friend Ella, we were talking about going to the movies or something, right when I noticed a dodge behind us and there was a cute boy driving it, I realized it was going to the school so once I got off he came over and asked me if I'd like to go to a party i've never been to once since I mostly study I said, I then saw my worst enemy Rachel oh fudge and then said you know your the only one who hasn't gotten their driver license yet out loud and of course that had just ruined my day since my dad was really overprotective since he has lost my mother after she gave birth to me. after all those boring classes I get home with Ella and talk about what I should wear

I heard the door slam and knew my dad was home like usual every birthday we play board  games all night but when I came down and told him I had other plans for tonight, I felt so bad especially when he saw me in an outfit that wasn't my style pearsuming I was going somewhere. I had told my dad I was going to a party which surprised home since i've never been to one, and of course he told me to be home by 10 pm sharp since he had a night shift I was ok with that.

I finally arrived to the party and saw the guy he asked me my name and told me his name was Logan. I looked at my phone and realized it was 9:56 I was so late until the Cops came I saw the light and thought is my dad going to embarrass me until i realized someone called the cops because the party was too loud I needed to escape as soon as possible until someone grabbed my arm and said PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR! oh no what's going to happen to me!

PUT YOUR HANDS UP!

I feel someone grab my hand and drag me making me run I then realize it's logan and  tells me to get in his car and don't look back then all of the sudden he starts driving really fast woah

"that's pretty amazing for a guy like you" I say

"thanks" Logan says

all of the sudden I see 4 cop cars following behind us I'm not sure we're gonna be able to escape from them I then hear Logan say

"do you trust me?"

I'm like could my birthday getting any better and I'm like I just met you but I don't know whether to say yes of no but I go with what my guts are telling me which is

"yes I do trust you why"

"because what I'm about to do is going to be crazy so I suggest you cover your eyes if you don't want to see as swerve everywhere" Logan says.

I don't really care so I obviously don't cover my eyes because I want to see what he means by swerve

Logan and I are like making the cop cars crash into each other when then I hear a helicopter above us

"we're not gonna be able to escape this time" I say

but all logan says is

"we'll see about that"

I really don't want to get caught especially since my dad is a detective and if he sees me locked up his life will be ruined if I'm not with him because last time he lost my mother at birth he couldn't get over it and had a hard time raising me to be a wonderful women like my mom and my dad will be depressed once he sees me in jail.

"can you go faster or what, my curfew is 47 minutes late and my dad will be dissapointed" I say

I then realize that there are only 2 cop cars left following behind us. Logan takes a huge right turn and nearly crashes into another car but then I realize that we didn't crash but the cops behind us had crashed into each other

Logan takes me to my house and says that he hopes to see me again later I then say

"this was the best birthday I have ever had"

I then notice Logan leaning in towards me trying to kiss me which I fall deep into his kiss

I come out of the car and step into the house to find it dark but then I hear a click and see a badge dangling from my dads neck and all he says is

"your late, do you know how worried I was and whose car were you just in'?

All I say is that I realized my mistake and that I won't do it again but my dad is still waiting for an answer for whose car was I just in but I tell him the truth and tell him it was a boy I had met at the party and that he was kind enough to give me a ride but I  leave out the part where we were being chased by cars

(the next morning)

I get down and hear muffled noices when all of the sudden I  kinda hear what it seems to be like a gun being loaded my heart is pounding I don't even know what I do but then I see....
