So before we start, I just wanna say that in this AU, Luck and Magna are boyfriends, but only Vanessa and Finral know this (other than Luck and Magna of course). Also Luck has a huge fear of blood, like trembling, crying, nightmares, passing out and a whole lotta snot kinda fear. In battle, he avoids spilling blood but will if necessary. If you don’t like don’t read.

All was peaceful at the Black Bulls hideout (surprisingly) when Asta burst through the door.

“WE GOT MAIL!” He shouted, stars in his eyes.

“Wow really?” Asked an excited Luck.

“Well, actually it’s just one letter”

“Tell us who it’s for, Stupidsta!”

“All right, all right, geez”

Asta looked at the paper in his hands, “It’s for...... Luck!”

“HUH?”

Luck didn’t understand this, he had no friends, other than the Black Bulls of course, and any family he had was long dead by now.

“Well, what are ya waiting for? Open it!” Magna told Luck.

Luck nodded and tore open the letter. He gasped when he saw the inside.

“What’s it say?” Vanessa asked.

He didn’t say anything, just handed the paper over with a shaky hand.

“Luck, it can’t be that ba-“ she cut herself off, gasping in horror as she looked at the page.

There were only four words, but those four words were written in blood.

Vanessa looked as though she had seen a ghost, “Vanessa?” Asta hesitated, “are you ok?”

Vanessa didn’t answer him, just dropped the paper and hugged Luck.

“Ok, what’s going on here?” Yami walked through the door.

Asta was quick to answer, “we don’t know sir, Luck got a letter in the mail and now he’s acting weird”

Soft whimpering could be heard from Luck as he hugged Vanessa. A concerned Magna walked up to them, “Hey, is Luck alright?”

“Just read the letter” Vanessa whispered softly.

Magna picked up the letter, “Why are ya getting so worked up about it, it’s just a lett-“

Magna froze in shock, the paper was dripping with blood. In the center was a hand print and above it were the words, ‘I’ll kill for you’

“What’s going on! Show me the damn paper!” Yami yelled.

Magna handed the letter to Yami. Yami barely glanced at it before yelling, “Finral! Open the damn portal to the wizard king”

Finral jumped, startled that Yami yelled at him. “O-ok” he stuttered.

Finral pulled out his grimiore and a portal appeared behind him. “Take care of Luck while we’re gone” Yami said, before stepping through the portal.

“See you later” Finral walked into the portal, closing it behind him.

The air felt thick as the tension hung around the Black bulls like fog.

After a few moments of no one knowing what to do, Magna broke the ice, “Hey Luck, wanna come to my room while Vanessa explains all this?” He suggested.

Luck pulled away from Vanessa, wiping snot on his sleeve, “S-sure” he replied, his voice wobbly.

Magna pulled Luck close to his side, whispering words of comfort to him as they walked to Magnas room.

“What’s up with Luck?” Asta asked.

Vanessa sighed, “The letter he received was written in blood”

Everyone’s, except the two rookies, eyes widened in realization.

“Ok, I get how that’s bad, but what caused him to react like that?” Noelle asked.

Vanessa blinked in confusion until it clicked, “Oh, right! You two don’t know”

“Know what?”

“Luck’s deathly afraid of blood”

“HE IS?!” Asta shouted.

“BE QUIET!” Magna yelled from his room.

“He is?!” Asta said, quieter.

Vanessa nodded, “He usually passes out from seeing too much blood”

Asta and Noelle pondered about this new information.

After getting Luck to his room, Magna started to set up his bed in the most comfortable way possible.

“Do you want to sleep?” He asked his boyfriend.

Luck nodded and started snuggling under the covers of the bed.

“M-magna?”

“Yeah?”

“W-will yo-ou c-come s-sleep wi-ith m-me?”

Magna smiled, “Of course”

Just then, a very loud “HE IS?!” Could be heard from Asta in the other room.

Magna growled, “BE QUIET!” He yelled.

Magna turned back to his boyfriend, who had fallen asleep under the soft blanket.

His heart skipped a beat when he looked at Luck, but he couldn’t help it!

Luck was just so adorable in Magnas eyes.

Once Magna was under the covers, he planted a kiss on Lucks cheek, “love you” he whispered.

Magna closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
