I, Lyla am the most unluckiest person on this plant all because of my bright blueish greenish eyes that can see the truth within people. But, now that I think about it before I met big sister my life was nothing but torment and torture inside this small village. Big sister was my savior, my everything, and most importantly my happiness. When we had first met she had said, "Hi, there my name is Lucy Heartfilla, what's your name?" At that very moment I had felt wanted and needed, because she had asked for my name.

Of all the memories and moments that I had spent with big sister I would have to say that her saying that my eyes were the color of the beautiful ocean would have to be my most precious memory of her, because that was the very first time that someone ha complimented my eyes.

But, now I am standing in the village near Dragneel Palace, watching my big sister getting killed right before my very own eyes while the place we are at is getting burned away by fire.

As I stood in the village, I was being held back by a very tall strong man who looked like he belong to a toyal army. Until I saw a woman with shoulder length white hair wearing a red and pink dress. She didn't look that old, she looked like she could be about big sister Lucy's age, the woman then walked up to me and said in a sneering voice, "Hello there, little one I hope you'll engoy watching the person you care about the most die right before your very own eyes." After that she walked away from me laughing with glee she then grabed a sword from one of her subordinates and went to Lucy who was tied up to a pole and cutted the ropes binding her to the pole. Soon after that she kicked her in the stomach and then once she had fell down she had gotten a tight grip around her sword and started to stab at big sister. Until I said, " NOOOOOOOO! STOP IT PLEASE DON'T HURT HER!" But no matter what I said the woman kept stabbing her continously, until right before she took her final blow that would end big sisters life, big sister said, " Lyla, I love you and I always have from the moment I met you. So don't be sad .... smile. Because I really love it when you........smile." As big sister said her final words she smiled as the woman made the final blow that had ended big sister's life. I then started to cry uncontrollably, until the woman walked up to me and said, " Now that Lucy is gone she won't get in my way anymore also what the town's people said about you is correct you do have monster like eyes, no wonder they call you a monster." She then left and told her subordinates to take care of me.

As they were beating me the way big sister looked and how she smiled flashed through my head, how she always wore her long blonde hair in different hairstyles and how her bright brown eyes glimmered every time she saw me or saw something she wanted to show me. I then thought " Oh, I guess this is all I can get since what they say is true since my blueish greenish eyes that can see the truth within people, are monster like eyes."

As I was getting beaten up I was starting to feel more and more pain then after a while the woman's men left thinking that I was dead. Soon after they left, I looked around to see if the fire was still surrounding the village and it was so I managed to walk over to my now dead big sister's body. I looked at it for a good couple minutes until I heard noises coming from outside of the village. I then decided to hide in the most closet and safest alley as I was hiding I started to hear voices coming from the outside of the village.

Gray's P.O.V.

While me and Natsu were on our way back coming from a meeting in a different country we noticed and saw a fire brewing in the village where Lucy, Natsu's bride to be lived. We then decided to rush to Lucy's village to check if she was ok, when we had arrived we saw all the town's people in destress so Natsu then decided to ask one of them if he knew where Lucy Heartfilla was the town's person then replied with a no. Natsu then gave the town's person his thanks as the worry on his face grew he then suddenly noticed something and told me that he had saw someone inside the firey village. I then asked asked Natsu if he was sure he then shook his head with belief I then decided that s Natsu's right hand man, Gray Fullbuster that I would follow him. As Natsu looked at the fire surrounding the village and started swallowing the fire surrounding the village. He could do this because he was a fire dragon slayer, as Natsu swallowed up the remaining fire I cooled it down with my ice magic. Once the fire was completely distinguished we went inside and took separate areas looking for the person Natsu had seen, but before that happened we saw Lucy lying n the ground not breathing.

As we looked at Lucy we immediately knew that she was dead, Natsu immediately started to cry but before he could grieve he told me ti look for the peson he had seen inside the village and so I did as I was told to do. I looked around the entire village not finding anyone until I saw a little alleyway with a person sitting underneath a partially burnt out house. She looked scared and a afraid she also looked like she had been crying for a while I then went up to her asked her, "Hey, what's your name?" She looked a bit taken a back, she got up up the courage and said, "M-m-m my name is L-lyla." I knew she was scared I then noticed that she had these bright blueish greenish eyes and thought, " Wow she really has beautiful ocean like, ice like eyes." I then went up toher and lifted her up and carrie her to here Natsu was and told her my name was Gray Fullbuster and that was the day we had first met.
