Their rulers were not human.

The royal family of Nightshade were shadow demons, ancient beings made of mist and night, their voices holding power enough to shape the world. Among them was a prince—Dacre, the son of darkness, whose voice carried the echoes of rebellion.

To the east, beyond the River of Tears, lay Lightborne, a kingdom of dawn and golden skies. Here, the people worshipped the sun and feared the night. They were sworn enemies of Nightshade, and the war between them had lasted for centuries.

In Lightborne, warriors were trained from childhood to destroy demons. Among them was Runa, a warrior whose presence was like poetry, roses, and galaxies woven into a single breath. She did not fear the dark. She had learned to wield it.

Their worlds should never have touched.

But the River of Tears had other plans

Guys I know you might think this chapter is too short but please this is only prologue, so kindly be patient.

I would also like to add that I'm not experienced author, and this is my first official story, so I hope that you won't be disappointed.

I'm happy that we found each other as reader and writer and I hope that you will be with me on the journey of Runa and Dacre's love story, the plot twist, the character development, the enemies that were supposed to hate each other but somehow can't bring themselves to do so, be with them and see their growth as love and trust blossoms between them.

that's little sneak peek to our main cast, but keep in mind you can imagine them whoever you like, and you can suggest me who you would like each character to portray.

Seriously I don't have anything to say, but I must make this to 500 freaking wordsssssss, it's just prologue duh ʕ͡°ʖ̯͡°ʔ.
