If I have to fall all over again from that cliff for my freedom, I would rather do it than having this person chased me for eternity.

“will you stop running, Licia?”

My name is Felicia Jade Morgan. When I was 7, my parents got murdered in front of my eyes. It was so dreadful, the memories of both of them died kept repeating in my dreams. At that time, I can’t grasp whatever happened in front of me. Everything happened so fast. The blade that slits my father’s throat in the living room. My mother’s strong grip to drag me away from the man that just killed my fathers out of nowhere, running away to the upstairs reaching my parent’s room and locked the door. The only thing that matters was my mother’s voice singing a lullaby that I used to hear every night before I drifted off to sleep for the last time while she hugged me to cover my face on her warm chest from that man, a hope to calms me down before the storm.
“see the sunset… the day is ending… let that yawn out.. no mor-“ and then pool of blood spreads on the floor, some was splattered on wall in the corner, the blood soaked her beautiful lavender colored dress. The smell of iron filled the room. Her legs can no longer support the largely wounded body on her back. Behind her was a man with gleaming red eyes, a long jaw with a fangs teeth like beast and a sharp claws covered with my mother’s blood ready to end my life.
At that time I was thinking, maybe it’s okay to die as long as I can go to the place where my parent stays. But fate says,
another time.
I remembered the sound of shrieking that came from the man that stole my mother’s life was. Suddenly his body dropped before my feet.
“I found her Mr. Green !” A group of a man armed with shotguns and blade. I completely shocked with the whole situation. All I could think of was my mother. My body trembled with silent cry. I walked past the monster's corpse and approached my mother’s lifeless body, dropped my knees to the ground and hugged her. I wished she continues to sing that lullaby before that damned man took her life. I wished my father reads me a bedtime story for the last time. I wished this unfortunate event is not real.
A slight pat on my shoulder stops me from crying and took my consciousness in a second.
And I realized, this is only just the beginning of my story. The never-ending sequences that I wished to end just like my repeated dreams haunting every night, slowly eating my sanity.
