Life is not as simple as it seems, there are no right or wrong decisions, only by your own perspective. I for once thought that I have a perfect life, I was at the top of my world. A beautiful family, better work, Good friends, Handsome Boyfriend. I have everything in my grasp, even consequences doesn't really bother me because I just had to do it.

My family owned a couple of buildings, small business, some shares at some places. So I just have this legacy to up hold no pressure, money isn't the problem we have lots of those. Well at least my family has, I growing up doesn't really view all this as a burden but a challenge to keep. I am Emerald Kingston and my life just turned upside down when the things you always know isn't how it used to be. When people branded you as a villainous person, you have nothing else to do but uphold to those expectations because don't want to be hurt the same way twice.

As to how it happened, it was to when a certain person show's up she thinks she is the Heroin of a story I would think to as she is quite fragile, bubbly and a really tragic back story. Aside from those Liliane Davis live a life of positivity and strong personality.

When two people on different world came together there's always a spark that changes reality even if we don't wanted to. Like how Liliane "Lilly" meet them a stubborn, strong and determined person like Mark Lawrence.

Outside a Cafe where people are busy running on a buzzing street "oh my I'm going to be late, and its my first day" Liliane mumbled as a door of the cafe swing open and coincidentally hit her and loose her balance.

"Are you alright?" I asked. "Your not hurt are you?" as I help her up.

"Yeah I'm alright, no problem" as she stands and brush off the dirt stuck on her skirt.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you passing by, here's my card contact me if there's something wrong and I'll pay for your medical bill. I'm in a hurry so I have to leave you now. Again I'm so sorry." as I hurried back to the office building across the street.

Far did I know that later that a flowery encounter happened as I settle throu the mountains of paper work and papers to sign.

"When will this end!" as I skimmed through it

"You won't finish if you keep complaining" a familiar voice coming from the door said "Come on hurry up your mother is waiting for us to come home"

"Dad," I said as I looked up "I would have been finish if you didn't give me this much of a work load" saying as I walked to give my Father a hug.

"Then you should not have goofed of just for a snack" somebody said.

Behind my Father there is a silhouette of a fine man approaching us.

"Now your just ganging up on me" with a pouty face "I was finishing both of your work so you could go to your meeting, and now your reprimanding me for having a slice of cake without you?"

"Alright, Alright, hurry and pack up, finish ypur work after dinner" Father said.

"Eve, send me those important documents and urgent papers to be signed, and you can go home after" I immediately said to my assistant. "No overtime today miss?" she replied and "I think not, Today seems to be interesting, now get a move on or you can stay." I said.

On our way home I noticed Mark to be not like himself so I ask " Did something happened today that makes you Glow even in this dark road?" mischievously

"Yeah, something interesting," he said.

"Did you know that we have new interns today? some of which are interesting"

"I didn't know you are interested on HR, " I replied with doubt, as if I'll be regretting our next conversation.

"Well I was looking for you, and I've came across this intriguing conversation between two interns and one of which has this broad way of thinking as if they can't find faults to the other" as he state articulately.

As I listened to his story I began to have this inkling feeling that he's not just admiring this person, since he is not that kind of a person I just brushed of this feeling and made me regretted it.

4 Years later.

Director's Office, "Eve, where's the documents that I ask for? And what's with this mess of a proposal, where's the Manager in charge?"

Eve replied immediately "Here's the documents about the transfer, and this are the documents that needs to be signed immediately, here are for the acquisition, and as for the proposal Manager Park is the one in charge and Team Leader Davis is the one handling the proposition to the other party."

After hearing her said rhe details I stopped and pondered and asked "Is President Lawrence available right now?"

"No miss, President Lawrence is on a Barren Auction at A City" Eve replied. "Do you want me to call Secretary Xander for the details?" Eve said.

"No, its not necessary, just call Team Leader Davis for the Acquisition Proposal of D Company on C City. And don't forget to send an email to Manager Park about the deal."

As I said to Eve while finishing the important documents that needed to be signed.

An hour later a young girl knocking on the door saying "Director did you look for me?"

"Team Leader Davis, did you or did you not know how to make a proposal?" I said while reading a document on my hand, "Excuse Me?" Liliane replied, "Do you want me to say it again or do you want me to say it bluntly?" I said loudly, "Do you or Do you not want your job any more? Or Do you intend to make me loose more than One Hundred Billions worth of assets?" as I said while slamming the table with the files on my hand on to her.

As the papers float to the floor the door suddenly swings open with a banging sound, and a Man entered the room and paused "I told you not to do this many times," Mark said "If she can't do her job properly why keep her in the company and waste our resources on a person who's not worth it?" I said cutting him off "Enough Forget it, Miss Davis your relive from your duty as the project's Team Leader, when Manager Park comes back you'll know if you still have you job or not, you can go" saying with a sigh.

Liliane leave the office slowly while looking at Mark with a bit of moisture on her eyes as she closed the door leaving the two people inside the office room in silence. As she left the Eve handed her the copy of the documents that has also been sent to Manager Park with a note stating a time and date of his arrival and some instructions that are needed to be followed.

Inside the Director's Office two people stare at each other one with contempt and malice the othe one with pity and astonishment. "If you're here to express your dissatisfaction with how I treat her as an employee of my company you can leave." I said as I go through the papers on my desk. "I'm busy dealing with the after matter that she has cost us and if you can provide us with enough sustainability maybe she can keep her job." as I sort the files on the desk

"Is this enough?" Mark said as he hand a file in front of me, "This is the last time, I hope you can stop bothering her," he said as he is leaving while opening the door, " I also appreciate it if you stop using her to gain my attention because its 'not' going to work." Mark stated as he closed the door of the office.

I was stunned by his statement and recalled all the trouble related to Liliane and him, then started to laugh bitterly and thought "This is how you see me? A shallow person, while I tried so hard to keep my father's memory and my mother's value, you degrade me as wanton wannabe who can't get over a relationship that doesn't even feel right? If this is how yo want to play it, then I'll give it to you." as she stood up by the giant floor to ceiling window.

Meanwhile when Mark came out of the Directors office he saw Liliane standing still while holding a file and staring at it, as he approached her he said "Don't bother thinking about the worst possible outcome, I've managed to persuade her on keeping you, I know you did your best," Mark said as he hold her cheeks and wipes the tears off her eyes, "Let's go back for now, I'll send you home." Liliane nodded and smiled lightly as they get on the elevator.

While standing by the floor to ceiling window I saw a familiar car driving out of the company building going on to the traffic street while hearing a knock on the door, "Miss, Andrew called and said that 'that person called and wants to have a private meeting' what do I tell him?" Eve said as she opened the door, "Tell him ok, and I agree and also I have certain condition's to be meet and I have what he wants, and depending on the agreement they can have a hand on them" I replied, "Miss, you don't mean..." Eve asked, "It doesn't matter now, I've made up my mind, if this is what they want, then they will have it, but on MY terms." I sad with full determination, "Get everything ready, tell Cralton and Andrew that its time to make a big wave."

"It's time for the 'VILLAIN' to take the stage." I said while smirking,

"Yes," Eve replied at attention,

On a busy street at night by the corner of the intersection going in and out of the main city road a lively bar called "CLUB INDEX" owned by a beautiful man who can be easily mistaken for a woman, whose skin is so fair and smooth, that you can't even spot a single blemish on his pinkish white skin.

"Andrew" I called the person who's on the bar serving drink's to a customer, "They're on VIP 3, I'll come by to bring drinks later," he said as he smiled fairly.

Inside the VIP room 3 there are 3 people sitting and chatting on the big couch like chair, and on the table with some snacks and drinks that are almost finished, "Eve, when will your boss arrive?" a man with a fresh personally asked, "My brother is busy too you know," A man with outstanding persona suddenly interrupted, while holding a glass trying to drink "That's enough Jefery, you can go back first if you want"

"That's not what I meant" Jef said, in response

"She'll be here in a moment, she won't back away if that's what you mean" Eve said, cutting him off.

"Well she keep my brother hanging for almost 2 years what makes her suddenly change her mind now, and what makes you sure she won't change after she gets what she wanted," Jef said in defense.

"I won't hurt your brother if that's what bothers you, and what our relationship may become depends on the both of us, and has nothing for you to worry about," I responded as I walk to the couch and sat on middle.
