After leaving her office, Lexi walked home annoyed. Another fake lead. This killer was good. But she had to be better.

Lexi puts her phone in her pocket walking on the sidewalk. She opens up her empty apartment and collapses onto the couch.

TIME SKIP TO THE WEDDING!
Lexi walks into the wedding, and it was decorated beautifully. As her eyes scan the hall she keeps walking and bumps straight into someone.
Lexi looks up at the guy. He seemed her age.

No it's okay I wasn't looking where I was going
Zayn
I'm Zayn. And you are-?
Zayn
Cool. So you're friends with the couple getting married?
Lexi
Yeah, I'm Minas best friend
Suddenly Leonel walked to Lexi out of no where and in a way Lexi didn't see he glared at Zayn.
Leonel
Is this your boyfriend?
Zayn looks at Leonel. Clearly Leonel had a crush on Lexi, but apparently she was too dense to notice it.
Leonel
What, whyre you staring at me??
Zayn
Calm down I'm just looking
After the formal part of the wedding
Lexi was having at drink at the bar and Zayn went to her seeing she was alone

It was a few days after the wedding. Everything was good in Lexi's life. Zayn was texting her every day. It was cute.
But Lexi couldn't understand why Leonel was being so rude and distant from her.
It was pouring rain outside, Lexi and Leonel were sitting at their desk trying to find more resources to track down the killer in town.

Lexi. Why haven't You tracked this killer down yet?! you've done harder cases.

the press is starting to ask questions and more and more people are getting killed by day.
Lexi
We're trying sir, but the killer is good-
Lexi's boss
I don't care. At this point. When you find the killer, just kill him. And I'll tell the press it was an accident
Lexi agreed since she knew it was pointless arguing with him.
Lexi
Leo can you pass me some water, please?

get it yourself. I'm going home.
Without letting Lexi reply Leonel got up and walked out even if it was pouring.
Lexi watched him go in confusion. What in the world was wrong with him?? She decided to cheer up since she was going for dinner with Zayn later that night.
Lexi had finally gotten home in the terrible weather
She was really excited to meet Zayn again. He was really nice to her.
Lexi wore a white elegant dress and she straightened her hair.
After getting to the restaurant she waited patiently for Zayn to show up.
She saw Zayn walk in. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants. She noticed that he had abit of red on his shirt.. Was that blood? No it couldn't be?
Zayn
sorry I'm late. You look pretty-
Lexi
thank you.. what's that on your shirt?
Zayn
I was feeding my little sister, and she squirted tomato sauce on my shirt.
Despite Zayn clearing up the red on his shirt Lexi felt something off about him. But she decided to not judge him because he was very sweet.
Leonel is walking past shops, he had gotten groceries for his sick mom and him. He wasn't very rich but that didn't stop him from being happy.
He looks at the shops and suddenly freezes.. Was that Lexi and Zayn.. Together? having dinner??
Was she on a DATE with him?!
After thinking of the worst possible things Leonel decides to just ignore them. Clearly Lexi didn't like him.
Zayn and Lexi had finished dinner and decided to go for a walk.
Zayn
so do you like that guy you were with at .. wedding?
Lexi
Leonel? Oh uh I don't know.. I haven't really thought about him romantically
Zayn
I was just asking because I'm pretty sure he has a crush on you
Zayn
Well anyway it's late so I'll walk you home
After Zayn walked Lexi home he went home.
for some reason Lexi couldn't sleep at night.. she kept getting a nagging feeling that the red on Zayn's shirt wasn't tomato sauce...
