Isha Singhania/FL
*Calling on a number continuously.*
Hoping he would come before it was too late.
Pandit Ji

Pandit Ji
Aaj se aap dono pati patni hue.
<From this moment onward, you are husband and wife.>

*Burning some papers in the office.*
His assistant entered after knocking.
???
Make the arrangements. We are going back to India.
And the assistant left the room.
???
I am coming to see you soon, my dear.
~ And someone who would go to any length to have her. ~
Isha Singhania/FL
*unconscious and chained*
???
You look so beautiful.

*Touch her cheek softly*

I love our little game of cat and mouse... My little mouse.

Trying to hide from me.

Isha Singhania/FL
*Holding a dead body covered with blood in the middle of a road.*
The relentless rain poured over them as a silent crowd watched from afar, unable to pull her back from the abyss of her grief.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Screaming and crying, desperately trying to wake the person in her arms.*
Thunder roared above, but even the storm couldn't drown out the sound of her broken screams.

Chapter 1 : Sketches and Secrets
Chapter 1 : Sketches and Secrets
Every design begins with a line.
Every secret, with silence.
A well-known Jewellery Company.
The office was slowly emptying.
Two junior designers stepped out of their cabins, their heels echoing down the corridor. The lights had dimmed to evening mode, the glass walls reflecting the silhouettes of those still wrapped up overtime.

Designer Assistant 1:
She's in Olivia cabin?
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
Again.

Designer Assistant 2:
Sitting right at her desk like it's hers.

Designer Assistant 2:
*Frowned* I don't get it.
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
How does a fresh graduate get to be Olivia's assistant?
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
*dry laugh* Forget that.
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
Do you even realize how much our sales have jumped since Olivia joined?
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
She's not just a designer. She's a brand.
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
*nodded* Exactly.
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
And she doesn't even show up here.
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
Not even once.
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
She doesn't need to. Her work speaks for her.
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
Her last showcase crashed our website.
Random
Designer Assistant 2:
Still. If she doesn't come, then why does Isha get unlimited access to her office? It's ridiculous.
Random
Designer Assistant 1:
*shrugged* Because she's the CEO's little favourite.
They glance toward the glass-walled cabin.
Inside, Isha sat alone, her posture graceful, sketching intently under the soft spotlight. A quiet calm surrounded her, untouched by the world outside the glass. The rhythmic scratch of her pencil was the only sound.
A framed, signed sketch hung behind her. Olivia's signature line - minimal, powerful, and untouched. Like the woman herself.

The elevator dinged. They stepped in, their voices fading.
Inside Olivia's Cabin | 9:12 PM
Isha's head rose slowly from the table. Her fingers, slightly smudged with pencil, brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
The sketch is complete. Clean lines, precise curves. Exactly how she imagined it in her head.
She stared at it for a bit.
Then... she smiles, quietly satisfied.
She glanced toward the edge of the desk where a single note rested.
Neckline too heavy. Shift balance to sleeve. ~ O
She rolled her draft carefully, slid it into a matte black design tube, then rose from the chair and gathered her things.
As she opened the cabin door -
Isha Singhania/FL
*startled*
Isha Singhania/FL
*Paused in the doorway*
Isha Singhania/FL
What are you doing here?
Rosie/CEO of LY
*Leaning against the wall*
Rosie/CEO of LY
I should be asking you the same.
Rosie stood casually, arms crossed, amusement dancing in her eyes.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Glance at her black design tube and smile secretly.*
Isha Singhania/FL
I had some work to finish.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Stepped out, shutting the glass door behind her.*
Rosie/CEO of LY
At Olivia's desk? *Teasingly*
Isha Singhania/FL
*Avoiding Rosie's eye* It's easier to focus on the big table.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Began walking toward the elevator*
Rosie/CEO of LY
*Follow her*
Both reached the elevator and stepped in.
Isha Singhania/FL
Now tell me, why are you here?
Rosie/CEO of LY
Divya told me that the lights in Olivia's cabin were still on.
Rosie/CEO of LY
Just came to figure out if it was you or a ghost?
Both stepped out of the elevator.
A few employees who were going home after finishing overtime look at them as they walk toward the exit.
Isha noticed. She always noticed.
Isha Singhania/FL
You know they are all watching you, right ?
Rosie/CEO of LY
*didn't even look around*
Isha Singhania/FL
*sighed*
Isha Singhania/FL
You're the CEO. You should care about your image.
Isha Singhania/FL
If your employees see you hanging around with your designer's assistant too much, they might get ideas.
Rosie/CEO of LY
*smirking* Like how kind and attentive their new CEO is.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Shaking her head*
Unbelievable
Isha Singhania/FL
Let's go before people write headlines in their heads.
Rosie/CEO of LY
Too late. They already have.
Isha Singhania/FL
I'm going to the workshop tomorrow. Need to oversee a customer mold.
Rosie/CEO of LY
Perfect. I'm heading there too for production supervision.
Isha Singhania/FL
See you there.
Rosie/CEO of LY
No. Be ready at 8. I'll pick you up.
Isha Singhania/FL
You don't have to...
Rosie/CEO of LY
Too late. I already offered. Can't back out now.
Rosie/CEO of LY
*Turned and walked toward the parking lot, without giving Isha a chance to speak*
Isha Singhania/FL
*Blinking*
Isha stayed by the curb, adjusting her bag, ready to cross the road -
Across the street, two men leaned against a bike. Both wore full-faced helmets. Not talking. Not moving. Just...
Their helmets tilted slightly, as if tracking her.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Grip tightly around her tote strap*
Isha Singhania/FL
*A cold uneasiness crept into her chest*
At that exact moment, Rosie's car rolled up in front of her, headlight washing the street in pale light.
But the two men remained.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Sit inside the car*
Rosie/CEO of LY
You're quiet.
Isha Singhania/FL
Just tried.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Glanced at the side mirror*
The bike moving quietly behind them. Far enough not to draw attention but close enough not to disappear.
Rosie/CEO of LY
*Frowning slightly* You okay?
Isha Singhania/FL
*Looked away from the side mirror*
Isha Singhania/FL
...Yeah.
Outside Singhania Residence
Isha Singhania/FL
*Open the door*
Isha Singhania/FL
Thanks for the ride.
Rosie/CEO of LY
Thanks for not turning into a zombie halfway through.
Isha Singhania/FL
*laugh at Rosie comment*
Rosie never liked being thanked by the people she cared about. Whenever any of them did, she always brushed it aside with a joke instead of accepting it.
Isha Singhania/FL
Good night
Rosie/CEO of LY
*waved before driving away*
Isha Singhania/FL
*Watched Rosie's car disappear around the turn ahead*
Isha looked back once, toward the street behind her.
Yet the uneasy feeling lingered.
She walked through the gate and disappeared inside.

Chapter 2 : The Silence in Between
Chapter 2 : The Silence in Between
What wasn't said filled the room more than words ever could.
The front door shut softly behind Isha.
Isha stepped inside, quietly slipping off her shoes.
The house was dim except for the warm pool of light spilling from the living room.
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
*Sitting on the sofa, reading through files, glasses slipping low on his nose*
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
Late again, Isha? *softly*
Isha Singhania/FL
Mm. Got caught up in a design revision.
Or maybe a softer version of truth.
From the dining area, Diksha appeared with a cup in her hand.
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
Come sit. I'll heat up dinner.
Isha Singhania/FL
*Shakes her head quickly*
Isha Singhania/FL
No, Chachi. I already ate at the office.
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
At least drink warm milk before bed.
Behind her, another voice cut through - cold and composed.
Shachi Singhania/FL's Bua(Aunt)
Coming home this late every night.. this isn't ambition. It's recklessness.
Isha paused mid-step. Her eyes didn't move, but her body tensed ever so slightly.
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
She is working hard, Di. <sister>
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
Ishita bhabhi would've been proud of her.
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
*look at Isha and smile*
Isha Singhania/FL
*smile back*
Shachi Singhania/FL's Bua(Aunt)
*without looking up* She's just an assistant, Mihir.
Shachi Singhania/FL's Bua(Aunt)
If she really wants to make her mother proud, she should aim higher.
A pause. The tension clung to the air.
Ravendra Singhania/FL's Fufa(Uncle)
*Sitting beside Shachi, took a calm sip of tea.*
Ravendra Singhania/FL's Fufa(Uncle)
Let her live the way she chooses.
Shachi sipped her tea again, this time with slower grace, like her silence carried more weight than her words ever could.
The air becomes heavy for Isha.
Isha finally spoke, voice low but steady.
Isha Singhania/FL
Good night, Chachi.
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
Good night, beta.
Isha nodded once to Mihir and walked down the hallway.
Both Diksha and Mihir looked at each other. Concerned.
The room was dim except for the bedside lamp. Mihir sat near the edge of the bed, sleeves rolled, half-absorbed in scattered paperwork. A pen sat rested loosely in his hand.
Across from him, Diksha leaned against the headboard, reading a book open in her lap.
They didn't need words. It was easy, the kind of silence that didn't demand filling.
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
*He glanced at her, hesitated, then finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.*
Mihir Singhania/FL's Chacha(Uncle)
The girls are arriving tomorrow.
Their shared silence, once soothing, had begun to hum with an unspoken tension.
The comfort between them had twisted into something uneasy, as if the air itself had grown heavier.
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
*Close the book without a sound and place it on the lamp stand*
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
*Reach over and turn off the bedside lamp*
The room dimmed, leaving only moonlight through the curtain.
Diksha Singhania/FL's Chachi (Aunt)
I'm sleepy.
She slid under the blanket and turned her back to him.
He remains seated, surrounded by loose sheets and unfinished thoughts, eyes fixed on nothing.
The room settled into silence.
