Whispers the Devil into the right ear of Roma, when he creeps up behind her, caging her in his broad and strong embrace.
Roma, who was still washing the dishes in her sweet home's kitchen suddenly got nervous and flinched a little,
She didn't expected the devil to suddenly creep up behind her.
The house is just the perfect space for two people to live in together, after Roma's mother ended up getting diagnosed with stage - III terminal anal cancer, the house has been empty ever since with her only.
Days and nights were spent in the hospital continuously.
Only one fine morning it took for her heaven to turn into the hell.
Her mother's condition was untreatable.
The only thing awaiting was her death with only a regret in her heart.
Leaving the young daughter alone in this lawless world.

Charming man with a smooth melodious voice breaks the thoughts brewing in Roma's head
He slightly confused continues asking once again.
This time with more serious tone and worry in his voice.
Lucifer.

Lucifer asks again, Seeing Roma silence his heart began to ache. there's tension in the air.
The panic and anxiety starts to overrule his better judgement
He wonders,
"have I done something wrong?"
"did I mess up, somehow?"
"I have to make it right no matter what!"
"I can't lose her"
"I can't afford to make a mistake"
Lucifer waited patiently despite his inner heart in turmoil,
Hoping for Roma to continue interacting with him,

He loves to tease her, loves to be the edgy one in their relationship.
Always wants to make her heart go thumping and pumping.
But even after all the teasing of the world.
In the end, he doesn't want her to get hurt, by him, especially. With his words and actions.
Anything that makes her uncomfortable hurts him. He doesn't want that.

Roma's words breaks the silence in the room only for the tension to grow thicker with each phrase.
Hearing that, Lucifer took a sharp inhale, his heart begin to feel slight hurt.
But he patiently listened.
"Maybe, this isnt the right time to play tricks and tease her"
He thought.
Roma continues as she ended up cringing a lot more she's like to admit.
the overly lovely display of actions, the romantic love towards her made her extremely uncomfortable to the point her skin crawled.
She has never been an active reciprocation target of love from the male population ever since she was a child
Safe to say it was her mother's slight overbearing and overprotective nature that dint allow Roma to mingle with males since she was a pre teen.
Fearing for her daughter's safety and her insecurity of not being able to protect her daughter should something happen to her in near future.
as well as a guilt of repeating the same mistakes the mother has made.
Roma insists, placing a hand on his chest blocking him from coming near her even more.

The pressure and uncomfortable feeling in her chest is growing

Roma's body language and the tone in her voice towards him, felt compelling.
It left him confused.
Just a moment ago she was being ok. Chuckling at his words.
So what did he do that made her recoil from him like he was some dirty rag?
