I'm Emilia Li, an average 15 year old girl with many friends and a loving family. I'm intelligent, attractive, loved by all, caring, humorous, a school president and a perfect role model. So I wish. I'm none of those, no matter how hard I try. I'm the school nerd and loner. I get bullied everyday, People write on my desk " Loser! " “Ugly!”  "Get out of here!”. Everytime I look down at my table I can't help but cry my heart out. But they seem to laugh even more when I do!

"Class, This is the new student." Mr Tan mutters. Mr Tan is an excellent and clever teacher, but it's a shame he has no energy for teaching. He sleeps in class and tells us to self-study. "Hello everyone! I'm Lily Tran, I hope we’ll all be best friends!” She shouts with excitement, waving her hands constantly and jumping around. The complete opposite of Mr Tan. “S-she’s gorgeous!” they stutter, astonished.

One look at her and I already know, she’s hyper and superactive. But, maybe she’d want to be my friend... eh forget it. I don’t have enough energy for that stuff anyway. Pfft friendship, who needs it. I don't. Right? “You can sit at the back, behind Emilia” he mumbles half-asleep.

EH! EHHHH! She looks at the 3 empty seats at the back of the classroom back and forth. I could see she was struggling and was starting to feel dizzy. I raise my hand up slightly, hiding my face in my book. “Ah, thank you so much!” she smiles gently.

Her radiant smile, is this what it feels like to have a friend? My eyes widen, as she gets closer, everything they said was true, she’s a beauty! She looks like a model! Her glamorous blonde hair, glistering in the hot, blazing sun! The ideal hourglass figure! “Wow! I think she can even overtake “Prettiest Girl Of The School” and beat Emily’s perfect looks!” They gossip with each other.

Emily Li is my elder half-sister, she has long, glossy violet hair, but don’t be fooled by her appearance. Emily is a bully, she even had the audacity to speak up to the principal in front of not only the whole school but also in front of many important people, and of course she soon got suspended for a week. I look over my shoulder and see Emily slowly turning her head, glaring at Lily with a menacing, murderous intent, however Lily is unharmed and hadn’t even noticed. What an interesting girl!

A few hours pass by, the bell rings. “Class Dismissed” Mr Tan murmurs softly. I get up from my seat and head to the cafeteria. I order a cheeseburger and some fries. I have no friends, so I sit alone at the table. Even other nerds and loners, refuse to sit with me, acting as if they were better than me. One day I’ll have them know, my father and mother are very, very important people.

 I hear footsteps behind me, I turn around. My body stunned. The person behind me was Lily! “May I sit with you?” she says smiling cutely. How can she be so cute! I say yes unknowingly. She sits on the chair opposite of me and asks me if I want to be her friend. Of course I said yes, shaking my head furiously up and down. I was finally going to have a friend. I smile, for the first time in forever.

We laugh away, as the time passes rapidly. How time flies, since my birth I’ve always been despised, unwanted and the mistake of my family. But now all of a sudden, I made a friend, a friend that I will cherish for the rest of my life. And that’s for sure!

 I look around at my surroundings, and suddenly notice that Lily and I are the only ones still in the cafeteria! Even the lunch lady went on her break! My heart starts racing, i’ve never been late before, never in my life!

Trembling in fear! I reach out for my phone still quivering, and that's when I noticed my phone wasn’t there! “Nani! How could this be!” I cry. “What's the matter Emilia?” Lily questions confused. “M-m-my phone! Someone took my phone!” I weep stuttering. I stare at Lily awkwardly.

 “It’s 2:00!” she screams out of fear. I guess she was as scared as I was, it was her first day and she was already late to class. I should apologize to her, if it weren’t for me she would have already been in class. I grab her wrist and dash as fast as the speed of light.

 “Ow!” I yell rubbing my forehead. It seemed like I bumped into someone. “S-sorry!” I weep. My eyes widens! My jaw drops! I bumped into the hottest and coolest guy in school! Alex Lu! He’s so handsome and dashing! His smooth, dark blue hair! His strong, muscular body! His abs! His charming face! Am I falling for him?!

Is this what they call “Love at first sight”? My heart beating fast. My heart felt like it was about to burst out of my chest! I feel my cheeks getting red and hot. He was stunning! I couldn’t take my eyes off of him! All of a sudden, I find myself being dragged on the floor by Lily! Huh! Was i daydreaming? I shake my head. I must have been envisioning things!

“Why were you girls so late?!” Mr Tan demands in fury. He must have only had 1 hour of sleep last night, due to marking all of our homework again. “Sorry Mr Tan! It won’t happen again!” Lily apologizes with absolute sincerity. I take my seat.

 Ugh! Mr Tan’s classes are so boring! I start doodling in my sketchbook. I love to draw! I like to draw anime, since it’s easier to draw and looks exceedingly cute. A classmate of mine Rachel, who sits right next to me, strikes her hand up. Rachel is Emily’s best friend. Rachel soft, wavy violet hair. Emily considers Rachel as a sister.  Everyone says they are bound to be sisters and how they were long lost sisters. They all say I’m an extra.

 “What is it Rachel?’ Mr Tan yells with a stern face of regret. I’m family friends with Mr Tan, so I know a lot of things about him. I’ve always known he wanted to be an art teacher, but unfortunately he didn’t get the position and instead got a classroom teacher. Ever since then, he hasn’t been sleeping as well and has been depressed lately. Mr Tan detests Mrs Smith, the current art teacher.
