Chapter 1

I came earlier in the airport to wait for my daughter and her best friend to arrive but I recieve a text from her that there plane was delayed a minute ago so I went home.

The lights was off when I arrive at home which is strange because I dont remember turning off the lights. While I was walking inside I heard the doorknob being locked I started to feel anxious and scared, what if someone hired a killer to kill me or someone is holding a grudge on me so it want to kill me.

I heard footsteps approaching and me being stupid as I am stoped and look around I should run when things like this happens but no I didnt.

The noise stopped so I suppose the killer is in my back and if i turn around there will be news headline tomorrow of a Famous lawyer Eric Smith was found dead and was brutally killed by an unknown suspect and of course who would like that to happen so I ran quickly and being born lucky I bumped into the wall so the next thing to do to ensure that I will be able to live tomorrow is to scream and so I did.

The lights was turned on and there I saw my daughter dying in laughter.

Dad, I can't believe your still a scardy cat " she said while holding her belly and laughing so hard.

Ha-ha-ha very funny Katty what would you do if I really died in a heart attack because of this stupid frank of yours! " I got up from the and I noticed a woman behind Katty.

She was taller than Katty and she appears to be intimidating, her eyes was scary like its gonna kill you and devour you alive then I realized she was also staring at me.

My heart feel like its gonna explode by just staring at her and of course being a well known famous lawyer in California I didn't show her that I'm being intimadated by her. Katty found out that I was starring at her back so she turned around.

" Oh! By the way Dad this Raven, Raven this my Dad Eric " she looked at me blankly and I did the same.

" Have you guys eaten ? " I said to Katty to change the subject and get away from them

Arrrhmmm--- Dad don't you think its rude to ignore other people especially if its being introduced to you

What me ignoring her " I said pointing Raven. nahhh actually was I trying to ask you guys so I cook for you both besides I haven't eaten yet, so why would you think something like that. Katty seem to accept my excuse.

Okey do you want us to help you?

" No I'm good so you guys take a rest and I'll call you both if the food is done. okey? "

" Okey " katty said and kiss my checks. My daughter is really nice and sweet so I wonder how she got a friend like Raven they actually the opposite.

I went to the kitchen to start cooking and while I was cooking I felts some chills behind my back. I turned around and saw Raven watching me. She was leaning on the side of the doorway and I found it cute just imagine someone looking intimidating leaning of the side of the doorway nahh not cute its actually irritating.

" Do you need something ? " she didn't respond

" Are you deaf " still no response so I turned around and continued cooking and ignored her. When I was done cooking she wasn't there anymore. That girl is very creepy and weird if you ask me.

When I was done praparing the food Katty and Raven appeared.

"Hey Dad, is food ready "

" Yep, and wash your hands first "

" Geezz I know dad " I took a glimpse of Raven and surprisingly she was already washing her hands.

The dinner end up of Katty and me talking some random stuff and during that time Raven was silent and look annoyed but I pretend not to notice it. After that we said our good nights.
