Chapter 1

Stars were twinkling as jewels as the night sky.Everywhere was silence and calmness.

Sarah was lying on her bed.She could see the

pine,oak trees of the forest through her window.She had come to live with her aunt one year ago in Germany.Her parents died long time ago and she had been living with her grandma until her death.She had her aunt,

uncle and a cousin who had the same age as her at that new house..... Sarah stopped thinking when she heard a knock at the door.

Who could it be? she thought and went to the door and opened it.

It was Malcolm, her cousin.He became a Lieutenant at a very young age and was extreamly good at sword fighting.Malcolm was one of the most trusted ones of the general."Malcolm how are you? You weren't home for months"she exclaimed in joy.

_"I'm fine .What about you?"

_"I'm doing well these days"Sarah replied.

_"Sarah,I want to talk to you about something" he said.

_"Okey"

_"Would you like to go to a banquet with me at our General's palace the day after tomorrow?"

_"Certainly"she replied with excitement.

They talked for hours after that.What he said afterwards was like: They would stay at the palace for some days.Many noble families including the royal family members would be there.The first night was considered as the main banquet and the other days would be filled with various kind fun activities. Malcolm's father was quite unwell and his mother wanted to stay with his father and told

him to ask Sarah if was willing to go. He also

said he will introduce one of his friends to her

the next day.

The next day when Sarah came downstaires

to have breakfast she saw a man with brown hair sitting beside Malcolm.His body structure was soldier like and had a charming face.He must be the friend Malcolm mentioned before.Isn't it too early for guests to come at breakfast time?she thought.Malcolm introducd him to Sarah.

His name was Antonio."Are you thinking why am I here too early?" Antonio asked."Well....

Yeah" Sarah answered."Antonio has been here

since yesterday night.He was tired so I suggested him to take a rest" Malcolm said.

"She is really a cute girl" Antonio said to malcolm with a teasing smile.'What's going on

I don't understand a thing' thought Sarah.

After that her aunt served her breakfast.

Sarah was going to the palace with Antonio and Malcolm.Antonio's puspose of coming their house was to go together with them. They had almost reached the General's palace.She could see the turrets of the mansion.For some reason her heart started beating.....
