Lia, my assistant entered my cabin. "good morning, madam". she greeted while standing in front of me " what do I need to do today?" I asked her while sitting on my chair thinking, I knew that I'd already had a lot of meetings but I was just curious on how many it was. "here, madam" she handed me the IPad she'd been carrying with her, "thank you", scrolling down looking at my schedule I saw a familiar name 'Ace Sanchez' I needed to make sure that it wasn't him so I asked Lia, " Lia, who is Ace Sanchez?" I asked her, curious to know if it was really him. "oh, he's the CEO of Sanchez Corp. madam" she said. gosh, really? a business meeting with that guy. maybe he already had forgotten about me, yea he can't remember me. I was trying so bad to tell myself that he can't remember me, I cleared my throat before I said something "so, when is the meeting?" I asked her while still scrolling on the IPad even though I was so distracted by the thought of me seeing him again, "this morning ma'am at 9:30" ****, do they really need to schedule it in the morning? I checked the time on the right corner of the IPad and I was just dumbfounded that it was already 9:20!! "why am I so unlucky today?" I facepalmed regretting that I became a CEO, but either way I'm still going to meet him anyway, right? "huh?" I was shocked that lia heard what I just said so I immediately jumped out of my seat like a kangaroo, I heard her giggle before saying something. "shall we go now, madam?" she was looking at her watch before turning her attention to me. "yea, let's go" she immediately opened the door for me, and she just followed me behind me we were now walking to go to the meeting room.

before I entered the room, I saw a man wearing a suit and beside him was his assistant. Lia opened the door making a sound that caused them to look at our direction, his dark blue eyes looked at mine, he was wearing a black suit with three buttons opened showing a bit of his chest which looked so good on him. as I scanned his face nothing much really changed, he's still handsome as ****. "good morning, everyone" Lia greeted them, giving them a sweet smile before his assistant said something "good morning, too" I and lia sat down facing them which was super awkward for me, why you may ask? BECAUSE I WAS THE GIRL THAT CONFESSED MY FEELINGS TOWARDS HIM AND GOT REJECTED!.

I again cleared my throat before greeting him "good morning, Mr Sanchez" I said with a smile, I knew he was that cold type but I didn't expect him to reply "good morning Ms Cruz" he said with his husky voice, is this guy trying to make me fall for him again? oh, shut up Luna you know that you have no chance. "let's start shall we?"

The meeting went pretty smoothly until I noticed him looking at me. 'why the hell is he staring at me?' I coughed to let him know that I noticed him, did he stop?, no!, he just kept on looking at me, It was already so awkward so I confronted him. "Mr Sanchez, why are you staring at me?" both of our assistants looked at me and Ace, confused on to what I just said. "you seem familiar, Ms Cruz" I was shocked, please lord don't let him remember me. I started to stutter while talking go them "N-no, I think this is the first time we met" he looked at me with one of his eyebrows up, making him look curious. God, really he didn't buy that? until he sighed and said that we should continue the meeting "I guess not, maybe I've mistaken you for someone else" he said. Thank you, Lord. finally, my prayers have been heard.

a few more hours passed and it was already 12 noon, it was time for lunch, finally! I was so fucking hungry. I was too excited that I accidentally stood and said "lia, is my lunch ready?" they all looked at me and giggled, of course, except for Ace, what can I expect from that guy? "ma'am, your lunch has already been prepared but-" she was suddenly cut off by Ace saying "are you already hungry, Ms Cruz?" he looked at me and I just sat down and rolled my eyes "no, continue" then suddenly my stomach growled, really, at this moment? I felt so embarrassed, gosh. "your stomach sure doesn't follow to what you just said, Ms Cruz" I was fucking embarrassed, I looked over at my lia and Ace's assistant and saw them looking away, laughing, "that's funny?" I looked at them racing my one brow, they both looked at me and said "no-no, ma'am" they were trying to hold their laugh, I saw them biting their lips, "laugh all you want then until your shift ends". I threatened them they immediately stopped laughing and Lia said: " Ma'am, are you already hungry?" I looked at her but before I could say anything ace said something "then come with us, we'll go have lunch together" what is he for real right now? I just wanted to eat my lunch peacefully with him around I don't think I can eat properly.

***but why am I affected, isn't he the reason why I was broken five years ago? haha, I'm so stupid I know it means nothing to him, it's just lunch because we're business partners. see you then, Ace Sanchez, not in this life but maybe in my next one. I hope after this we won't meet, ever.
