The Secret of the Alpha Twins

Episode 1

Cristal Rolfot believed she had it all. A mate who loved her as much as she loved him. A family that always looked after her. She was planning to have the Alpha's children, her mate Eishter Wold, Alpha of the Highlands. But everything started to go wrong when the months passed and, no matter how hard she tried, it seemed impossible to get pregnant. Talk started, everyone believed that Alpha Eishter's Luna was infertile. No one could conceive that the problem wasn't her... but him.

Sitting in the pack doctor's office, they had received the news that would change everything.

Alpha Eishter was infertile.

The problem had never been her, it was always him. They left the office in a melancholic silence. Not before the doctor tried to help them. The doctor owed it to his patients, he knew that the Alpha was obliged to bring offspring to his pack, so without hesitation he offered him options. He could adopt a baby or try artificial insemination.

The Alpha had flatly refused to have his Luna carry another's child, or to adopt a baby that would not carry his blood. They left devastated. Not before ordering the doctor never to say anything about the Alpha's little problem.

The days passed and Cristal had tried by all means to calm her Alpha. But he seemed to move further and further away. Her omega sobbed inside, feeling the Alpha's rejection. She wanted to help him and that night she had begged him for his attention.

He wasn't the only one who was suffering.

The omega whimpered disconsolately in bed. Calling her Alpha desperately. The pheromones of sadness that surrounded her had alerted the maids who served the Luna. The door was opened and the Alpha entered serious. The maids stepped aside and then the Alpha could see her. The omega got on her knees on the bed and stretched her arms towards him in need.

"Alpha..."

The Alpha felt the omega's call and was unable to refuse. He approached her, taking her in his arms. He surrounded her with his scent. The sadness emanating from the woman bothered him. It hurt his pride completely. He. An Alpha. He couldn't fulfill his omega. He couldn't fulfill his pack. Fury filled him completely. He pushed the woman and stood over her euphoric.

"Is this what you want, omega? Then I'm going to give it to you."

The servants fled in terror when they realized what would happen.

The omega whimpered when she felt the Alpha's hands tearing her clothes. He was brutish and without a shred of delicacy, his eyes dark as night looked at her and her omega whimpered in terror. This was not making love, nor anything like it. He was going to take her, to possess her. Regardless of everything she refused. That night the Alpha took her brutally, knotting inside her again and again regardless of the sobs that came from her lips. Regardless of the little woman's pleas, the Alpha never stopped. He unleashed all his fury on the omega.

The next day when they woke up, reality hit the Alpha. His omega lay shattered beside him, with blood and dried fluids on her body.

He had lost control. But his pride would never let him admit it.

The man summoned the maids and asked them to take care of his omega. He couldn't keep doing that to her. The council's pressure to bring an heir to the pack was driving him crazy. He had to make a decision.

A week later the Alpha and the Luna visited the hospital again, this time willing to make it a reality.

To inseminate the Luna.

The procedure was quick and satisfactory and just a month later the announcement was made: The Luna was expecting.

It was never said that the Alpha was not the real father of her children. It was a secret that the Alpha and the Luna as well as the doctor planned to take to the grave.

Cristal was happy, her Alpha pampered and spoiled her, the whole pack adored her, gave her gifts and flattered her. Everything was as she had always dreamed it would be. She couldn't be happier.

A month before giving birth. Her Alpha seemed to drift away again. He no longer caressed her swollen belly at night. He never came to sleep.

Her Alpha had moved away from her again. Cristal couldn't understand why. They finally had what they had wanted so much. Their cute pups were almost about to be born.

So why did her Alpha seem so upset?

She had noticed it. He had begun to look at her dismissively, she could feel his contempt and then one night she couldn't take it anymore and she said it.

"Alpha... is something wrong?"

The man next to her growled, as if the sound of her voice alone bothered him. He looked at her seriously across the table.

"I've been thinking about it too much Cristal... those bastards you're carrying in your womb are not my children. You forced me to accept this stupidity with your damned crying and your manipulation, we could have kept trying, but no... you were desperate to carry another's child. You're a slut!!"

The omega didn't see it coming. The Alpha on the other side swung his hand forcefully, hitting her in the face. A whimper escaped her lips, she covered her face with her incredulous hand. Her Alpha had hit her.

"I want you to abort those bastards. Now!! Those children can't be born."

Cristal looked at him incredulously, her hands protectively over her belly. They were her children. She loved them. She had felt them grow in her womb.

She would never let anyone hurt them.

"No," she whispered tremulously.

The Alpha looked at her furiously.

"What did you just say?"

The woman mustered her courage. She stood up, embracing her swollen belly with her hands.

"I'm not going to abort them. They are my children, you are not going to take them away from me!!"

The Alpha growled furiously. He approached her, ready to hit her again and she quickly moved away, fleeing from him. The Alpha let out a mocking laugh.

"You think you're very brave, slut. I don't care what you want, I'll tell everyone that those bastards you're carrying in your womb are not mine, that you're a damned cock warmer. Those damned children you're carrying in your womb are not mine and everyone is going to find out. Even if you don't want to, I will force you to abort. My Luna will not have someone else's children!!"

The Alpha left the house, slamming the door. The woman who had remained standing, fell to her knees unable to continue holding on. Her tears streamed down her face, her omega whimpered hurt inside, repeating again and again the Alpha's harsh words.

He wanted to get rid of her pups. She was never going to allow it.

Episode 2

Not even a week passed when the rumors began. The moon had deceived the alpha, and those pups she was expecting were not his.

Cristal hadn't even left her home. She didn't understand why her Alpha was doing this to her. Why lie like that. She had never asked for it. He made the decision to do the Insemination. He seemed happy with his children. So why? Why did he suddenly seem to hate them?

Cristal was asleep in her room when the doors were forced open. It happened so quickly that she didn't even have time to think or say anything. The guards entered and took her roughly, taking her with them.

And suddenly she was in the middle of the pack council being judged for adultery. No matter how much she screamed and begged, saying that she had never cheated on him. No matter how much she told the truth.

No one believed her.

The man who had been her alpha for more than 3 years rejected her without compassion. Looking as if she had really cheated on him. With those eyes devoid of emotions. As if she meant nothing to him.

They kicked her out of the pack where she had grown up, and all those who she once considered her family turned their backs on her.

Cristal walked aimlessly through the forest, still sobbing, unable to believe what had just happened. Her alpha had betrayed her, they had thrown her out without any consideration. Not caring about all the dangers she was exposed to. They didn't even let her take her things. She was thrown to her fate without any compassion.

She wandered through the forest aimlessly, feeling her body heavy. The pain of rejection and betrayal took her breath away, but Cristal did not stop. She kept walking in the hope of finding asylum. Even though she felt like she was failing. Although an immense void was opening in her chest. Cristal never stopped.

Night fell and the cold chilled her bones. Her body began to feel heavier and heavier, and unable to bear it any longer, Cristal collapsed.

Cristal opened her eyes that morning confused, blinked feeling the sunlight hit her face, looked around expecting to find herself on the forest floor, but to her surprise she was in a rustic wooden room, lying in a bed with a wool blanket on her body. Cristal settled into the bed worried. Where was she supposed to be?

She didn't even have time to think about it, the door opened and an old woman with white hair entered through it. Cristal looked at her confused.

"Who are you?... Where am I?"

The old woman came to her, taking a seat next to her slowly. Cristal settled in her place tightening her sheets fearfully.

"You woke up little girl. I found you passed out in the forest and I was unable to leave you there. I brought you to my home. You have slept quite a bit, you seemed very tired."

Cristal looked at her doubtfully.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Gilmort, girl. I am just an old healer who lives in the forest. You are lucky that I found you. Wild wolves travel through the forest at night looking for something to eat or someone to eat..."

"You... how did you bring me here?"—the old woman looked quite weak. How could she carry her here?

"Oh, I asked an old friend for help, but he's gone now. You have been sleeping for two days dear, your body is trying to get used to the rejection."

Cristal looked at her surprised

"How do you know?"

The woman smiled sadly

"It is not the first time that I have seen a pregnant omega being rejected by her alpha. It happens more than you think... you need to recover, those sweet babies you carry in your womb need you."

Cristal lowered her head sadly remembering everything. The hard and emotionless look that Eishter had given her. He, who had sworn to love her, had abandoned her to her fate without thinking twice.

Had he never loved her?

"Don't let that overwhelm you dear"—Cristal looked at her surprised—"Inside you have two reasons to keep living, you have plenty of love, you don't need any alpha, you already have two who will love you with all their heart."

Cristal looked at her belly stroking it and looked at the old woman in front of her questioning her words.

"Two alphas?"

The old woman nodded

"Yes dear, in your womb you are gestating two beautiful alpha twins. You don't need that silly alpha who abandoned you. He will be punished all his life, but you... you will have a bright and wonderful future."

The old woman looked at her with confidence and something in her gaze calmed the storm in Cristal's heart. Something in her gaze assured her that everything she said was true.

A wonderful future awaited her.

Episode 3

Cristal easily got used to life in that small cabin. The old woman Gilmort had welcomed her with love. She cared for her and taught her everything she knew.

The old woman worked as a healer, and little by little she was teaching her to be one too. The old woman went out to work every day and returned in the afternoons. She always came back with some fruit or desserts that she knew Cristal loved.

Shortly after her arrival, Cristal gave birth. Two beautiful twins with jet black hair and gray eyes like smoke. Whom Cristal called: Aiden and Adrien.

Just watching them grow, Cristal was also sure that two beautiful babies were Alphas. They were overprotective. Fair and loving. They took care of her as if she were their most precious treasure. Her children adored her. They cared for her with love.

Her two sweet children had grown quickly. They were already five years old. Cristal felt happy and fulfilled, she had a home, she had love, her children lacked nothing, they were far from that world of criticism and pain.

They had each other and that was the only thing that mattered to her.

One morning the old woman Gilmort woke up sick. Cristal and the children made sure to take care of her. The children adored the old woman. For them the lady was their dear grandmother.

Cristal had convinced the lady to stay home to rest. Although she insisted that she had many things to do.

But then a man appeared at the door of the small cabin. Cristal could recognize the seal that that man carried on his right shoulder.

The King's seal.

The man appeared ordering the old woman to go visit the king. Cristal knew that the old woman served the king. What she didn't know was that it was something so serious.

The old woman, unable to go, asked Cristal to do her the favor of going for her.

Her hairs stood on end just thinking about it. She had never seen the king's face, but she had heard everything that was said about him. He was a serious and stoic man. He did not tolerate faults and exploded easily. Everyone said that the alpha king had murdered his queen. That he was cursed and that's why he always seemed upset. He was never happy.

Cristal was unable to refuse to help the lady and go against the king's order. Someone would have to go in Gilmort's place. And that someone was unfortunately her.

Cristal left the cabin that afternoon with the royal guard. Not without first ordering her children to take care of the old woman.

"Take good care of Grandma, okay? Mommy will be back later."

"We'll take care of her, Mommy."

"And we're going to wait for you with the house all warm. You take care of yourself too, Mommy."

Her children hugged her smiling. Although they were small children, her children were very intelligent and independent. Cristal was confident that they would take good care of the old woman until she returned.

The road to the alpha king's territory was long and tedious. Her heart beat strongly in her chest, she was nervous and fearful. She didn't know what she would find in that place and she didn't even know what was happening to the king.

When they finally arrived at the place, Cristal was speechless. The mansion that stood before her eyes looked like a dream palace. White pillars and ivory walls. Paintings and stone sculptures with perfect designs. The guard beside her led her through long corridors.

Her heart seemed to want to jump out of her chest and the closer she got to that encounter, the more nervous she seemed to be. She sighed unable to calm her heart, when suddenly the guard in front of her stopped. Immense doors of a dark mahogany in front of them, the man gave two knocks on the door and a gruff voice on the other side replied.

"Enter."

That voice had made her hairs stand on end. and when the door opened, the intense smell of dark chocolate hit her like a wave in a furious sea. Her body swayed for a second feeling dizzy from the dominant smell that came from the room. They didn't give her time to recover from that shock because she was quickly pulled by her arm and almost thrown into the room. She staggered until she managed to stand inside the room and then she heard the door close behind her.

The bitter smell of chocolate was even more intense inside. Her omega was almost drugged inside, making her feel weak and submissive. A trembling sigh escaped her lips. She clenched her hands in her worn dress trying to maintain her composure and then she heard that voice again.
