Kenshi was a man in his late 20s. Every day, he would wake up at around 6 in the morning and get ready for work he got dressed in his suit. As he grabbed his suitcase and got outside. As he was walking to work, he kept having this feeling that someone was watching him. He's been experiencing this every day for the last 2 years ever since he got the job at the company. This feeling has always followed him whenever he was walking to work

[Kenshi] "Ughh..this feeling again. When will I stop feeling this every time I  go to work?"

He said in his head, but then he got to the office and clocked in. He was the first there as usual since he is the manager

as he logged on to his computer and started working. The clock ticks away, and Kenshi is absorbed into his work as his colleagues start to clock in

[Len] "M-morning mister. Kenshi"

A shy voice called out to him it was the new employee that just been hired a few days ago

[Kenshi] " Ahh, you must be the new employee here. Nice to meet you. I'm Kenshi, your manager, and since I have been assigned to teach you the basics here, expect to meet me often. "

He says in the friendliest way and holds out his hand for a handshake

[Len] "O-ohh okay then. W-when shall we start?"

She shakes his hand and introduces herself as Len Kamahito fresh out of college

[Kenshi] "I appreciate the excitement. We can start working now. Your desk is..desk 45 it should be next to my office, so if you have any questions, you can ask me. I'm happy to help you with anything. "

[Len] "Okay, thanks,"

With that, she bows respectfully and turns around to the door

[Kenshi] "Ohh, wait, before I forget, the computer password is 79224"

[Len] " Thank you, then I shall start working ."

As the day went on, Len regularly came to Kenshi's office to ask questions about how to do this and how to do that. As the day came to an end, Kenshi packed his things and clocked out of his office. As he walks back home, he stops by a convenience store to buy some instant noodles. As he got to his appointment door, he was suddenly met with a delicious aroma that would make anyone drool at the smell alone

[Kenshi] "Huh, the neighbours must be cooking something nice."

As he puts his key in the door and turns the smell, he suddenly smells, filling up his nose with the delicious aroma in his kitchen. He is a beautiful girl dressed in a white and red miko dress

[???] "Oh, you're back! Welcome home!"

[Kenshi] "Ohh! Umm, sorry, wrong door!"

As Kenshi steps back and closes the door, he notices that it was apartment door 373 his apartment

[Kenshi] "Huh? This is my apartment, then who is the girl??"

As he slowly opened the door, the girl greeted him warmly, introducing herself as Ibuki

[Ibuki] "Welcome home kenshi ~ I'm Ibuki. I am 843 years old and I'm a demigod cat spirit the heavens have blessed you to be taken care of by me"

[Kenshi] "H-how do you know my name!?"

[Ibuki] "I know everything about you

Well, since I was watching you from the day you were born Kenshi. You know me, don't you? From your dreams?"

Ibuki was sitting on the floor facing each other.

[kenshi] "So..let me get this straight. You are an 843-year-old demigod cat spirit..and you have been sent down to take care of me?"

[Ibuki] " that is correct."

[Kenshi] "And you have been watching me for how long?"

[Ibuki] "Well since the day you were born"

[kenshi] "Huh..and what was it about my family again?"

[Ibuki] "Well for many generations your family were mostly shamans and exorcists this fact has made many divine beings to form contracts with your family and in cases even marriage..as example your ancestor once fell in love with a divine messenger fox and eventually got married to her"

[kenshi] "Huh.. and so you want to form a contract with me?"

Ibuki's ears perk up a little her tail swishing before flicking. Her cheeks burn bright red

[Ibuki] "Well you see..while I was watching over you when you were little all the way to now..somewhere in the middle..I.. I.. f-fell in love with you..your kindness, devotion to your loved ones..it all made m-me fall for you.."

[Kenshi] " w-wait..what!?!?"

[Ibuki] " yes as embarrassing it is to say it..kenshi..will you except my humble request to date and eventually marry you?"

[Kenshi] "i-i uh..Ibuki..th-this is unexpected.."

[Ibuki] "it is..so what will you say? Will you except this maidens request~?"

[Kenshi] "umm...*sigh* okay..I except.."

Ibuki smiles softly before her tail starts swaying again

[Ibuki] "I am glad you except me..*She bows respectfully* I shall devote myself to take care of you..

[Kenshi] "wh-wha..n-no no need to bow.."
