Daisy Rossi
The chaotic storm. Younger sister of the infamous mafia king. She’s witty, loud, dramatic, and entirely unforgettable. Daisy has a knack for making an entrance — and for dragging people (especially her best friend) into situations far darker and more dangerous than they realize. Underneath her wild laughter, though, she’s fiercely protective, a little lonely, and secretly terrified of losing the people she loves.
---
Ian Carter (the Best Friend)
The calm in Daisy’s storm — until he isn’t. Loyal, witty, and stubborn in his own quiet way, Ian has been Daisy’s rock for years. He doesn’t belong in the mafia world, but fate doesn’t care. The moment he meets Daisy’s brother, his life tilts off balance. Torn between friendship, danger, and forbidden love, Ian discovers that his heart is far more reckless than he ever thought.
---
Alessandro Rossi (The Mafia Brother)
The King. Ruthless, strategic, and feared across the city. Alessandro rules his empire with an iron fist, a sharp mind, and eyes that miss nothing. To most, he’s untouchable — but when he meets Ian, a crack forms in the armor. Beneath the cold exterior is a man haunted by choices, hungry for something real, and utterly unprepared for the chaos of falling in love with his sister’s best friend.
---
Supporting Cast (to stir the drama)
Marco DeLuca – Alessandro’s right-hand man; loyal but wary of Ian’s sudden appearance.
Sophia Varela – A rival mafia princess with her eyes set on Alessandro — and absolutely no patience for Ian.
The Twins (Luca & Elia) – Alessandro and Ian’s future children (shhh, spoilers 😏💕). Loud, mischievous, and clearly Daisy’s partners-in-chaos.

Chapter One: The Night It All Began
Daisy’s POV
The Velvet Room wasn’t exactly the kind of place you take your best friend if you want a calm, normal night out. But then again, Ian was far too used to me dragging him into chaos. Besides, the Velvet Room had the best whiskey in the city — and the kind of crowd that made me feel alive.
I was perched on the bar counter, swinging my legs like a kid even though the bartender hated when I did that. The air was thick with smoke, laughter, and the bass of music that made your chest hum. I spotted Ian the moment he walked in — rain-soaked, jaw set, shoulders tense. He always looked like he didn’t belong in places like this, which was exactly why I loved bringing him here.
“Finally!” I called out, dramatic as ever. “Did you melt in the rain, or did the puddles propose first?”
He rolled his eyes, brushing water from his hair. “One day, Daisy, you’re going to die from your own dramatics.”
I hopped down from the counter with a grin. “And you’ll give the best eulogy of your life.”
But tonight wasn’t just about drinks or jokes. Tonight was… different. My brother wanted to meet him. And when Alessandro Rossi wanted something, the world rearranged itself to make it happen.
So, I leaned close and whispered, “Ian, there’s someone I want you to meet.”
I felt him tense. He always did when I hinted at my family. He knew enough to be wary. But it was too late now — the shadows at the back of the bar shifted, and my brother stepped into the light.
---
Ian’s POV
If Daisy was a storm, her brother was the silence before it — the kind that pressed on your chest and warned you to run.
He emerged like he owned the room, which, let’s be honest, he probably did. Tall, suit sharp, presence sharper. His eyes — cold steel grey, the kind of eyes that could weigh souls and find them lacking — landed on me. Not Daisy. Not the bar. Me.
And suddenly, my throat went dry.
“This is my best friend, Ian,” Daisy announced proudly, like she was introducing her puppy to a panther. “And don’t scare him, okay? He’s fragile.”
I shot her a glare. “Wow, thanks.”
Her brother didn’t smile, not really. But something flickered across his face — interest, amusement, I couldn’t tell.
“We’ll see,” he said simply, his voice low and smooth, like velvet with a blade hidden underneath.
And just like that, I knew I was in trouble. Not because he was Daisy’s brother. Not because he was a mafia king with blood on his hands.
But because part of me wanted him to look at me like that again.

Daisy’s POV
I could feel it immediately — the air around Alessandro and Ian was… charged. Dangerous. Like static before a thunderstorm. And I, naturally, was the lightning rod.
“Don’t look so scared,” I teased Ian as I guided him toward my brother. “He’s only slightly homicidal tonight.”
Ian’s jaw tightened. “You love this, don’t you?”
“Oh, adore it,” I said, grinning. “But seriously… just be yourself. Don’t—don’t do anything stupid.”
Yeah, easier said than done when my brother was standing there, hands in his pockets, watching Ian like he was a puzzle to solve. I wanted to laugh, and I wanted to hide him at the same time. Because Alessandro’s kind of attention? It wasn’t safe.
“Alessandro,” I said, the word rolling off my tongue like I was announcing royalty. “This is Ian. My best friend. Don’t scare him… much.”
Alessandro’s eyes flicked to Ian again, slow, measured, analyzing every little movement. I could tell Ian was squirming. And secretly, I was loving it — the chaos was just beginning.
---
Ian’s POV
Oh, God. Why was she smiling like this was a game? Because it was, wasn’t it? A game I didn’t know the rules to, but the stakes were terrifyingly high.
Alessandro’s eyes didn’t leave me. They measured me. Judged me. And yet… there was something in them — not exactly warmth, not exactly danger, but a pull I couldn’t deny.
I opened my mouth to speak. Nothing came out. Typical Ian, really — paralyzed by a man in a suit who could probably kill me with one finger if he wanted.
“Relax,” Daisy whispered beside me. “He’s dangerous, yes… but you’ll survive. Probably.”
I gave her the faintest glare. “Thanks for the pep talk.”
Alessandro’s lips quirked, almost imperceptibly. “You’re braver than you look,” he said, voice low and smooth. It made my chest tighten. And then he did something that I didn’t expect. He extended his hand. Not in threat, not in dominance… but in some weird, unspoken truce.
I took it. And in that moment, I knew nothing would ever be simple again.
---
Daisy’s POV
I almost rolled my eyes. They were like two magnets snapping together. And me? I was the chaos in the middle, watching my best friend and my brother dance around a fire they didn’t know would burn them.
Oh, this was going to be fun.
