"Shin, do not go to the silent forest, there's a scary castle there" Nana shout-out and make me roll my eyes in annoy.

For a thousand times my grandmother warned me about the abandon castle near the silent forest, she mention about a ghost and wild animal there which make me get interest to check it more.

"She makes me want to go and take a look if she keep warning me like that" I murmured while start walking to the other direction but take a glance to where the Silent forest.

My grandmother is a British, she's living in the small town near the Sago, and honestly I don't know where it is exactly.

Shin...

Gasped, I turn around and see no one.

Who?

My name is Shin Yeoung , I am 7 years old and this is the first time I visit my grandmother with my mom. The truth is, I know the reason my mother take me here, looks like my parents will going on separate ways since my father had a new woman in his office, his secretary, typical.

I know for a young boy in my age, I shouldn't have known something like that but like my mother said, I am older than the other boy.

People call me genius, but it left me with no friends beside books.

No matter, with books I can go anywhere and be anyone I like so I don't need friends. Lie.

Sighed, I pick the dried branch before take a seat in the sand.

You see, Sago in near to the sea so beside hills, we can see the big blue see from my grandmother's house.

If only our neighbor is near.

How can my grandmother living alone here, in the middle of nowhere by herself?

Since my grandfather die, she rejects the idea of moving out to Korea with us.

Thank God, I brought one of my books here, I thought before lean on the sand and start reading.

It's only a minute before I heard an agony scream coming from behind me.

I stood up abruptly before take a look around only to get shock when I saw a man crawling from the Silent forest with blood in his clothes.

Oh my God!!

Gasped, I leave my book before running to where he lay on the ground.

Oh my God, what's happen to him?!

"Hey.. Hey.. are you okay?" I asked breathlessly from running toward him before kneel in front of the wounded man.

He frown and staring at me for a second before cough a lot of blood which make me gasped loudly in fear when I see more blood keep coming out from his mouth.

"Oh my God" I whispered in fear "I need to call someone" I said and try to move only to get stop by a hand and make me turn my gaze back to him.

"No.." He said and winced.

What?

"Don't speak" I shook my head quickly in respond when I see it huring him then open my jacket before wrapped it in his wounded flesh and push it to stop the bleed, ew.. ew.. ew... "You keep bleeding" I shout in panic, I never saw so many blood coming out from someone.

I raise an eyebrown when I hear a laugh in between cough coming from him.

"It's not funny!!" I scowl with a frown before hear howling from the wood that make me shivered.

Oh my God, what is that?

A wolf?

"What's your name?" I was shock when I hear he speak and feel a touch on my cheek.

Why he looks calm?

"Um.. Shi.. Shin" I tell him nervously while keep pushed my jacket in his bleeding flesh "You're bleeding, I need to make it stop!" I muse in horror to see more blood.

Oh God...

"Thank you, Shin"

Huh?

Frowning, I turn my gaze from the wound to his eyes.

He has a b;ack eyes, so dark that I never saw before.

And that's the last thing I remember before I was consumed to the darkness.

Until then little Shin. I'll see when you're ready.

Gasped...

I have to blink several time when realize that I am back in my room and it just another dream about the same wounded guy who walks out from the wood. 

Sighed, I sat on my bed before walk out to the kitchen to grab a drink.

When I pour the water, I took a glance to the clock and didn't surprise to see its only 2 AM, always the same time.

Should I worry? Scare?

I always wake up at the same time everytime I have dream about the man. No one believe me when I tell them, I've tried to confised them that it's like not just a dream but they thought that it because the stress in the school and also one of the effect I've got for every books I've read.

Since then I start living with it and never told no one anymore, even my parents.

Maybe they're right,  it just one of my wild imagination, perhaps all of the books I've read really make my mind going crazy.

You want to life like the story that you're the prince and there's a princess out there for you.

"Shin?"

I jump a little when the lights suddenly on and walk in my mother.

"You scare me, mom" I breathe while touching my chest which pound rapidly.

She smile before take a glass of water and turn back to me "Can't sleep?" She asked softly.

I just shrugged and shook my head, I don't need to tell her that I have another dream.

"Another book?" She rolled her eyes in accuse expression while I just grinned and lie "You do know that it's really late, I wish you're just coming back from hanging with friends, but.." She stop and sighed "Please, Shin, I know it's good to be smart, but I also want you to.."

"I know mom" I interjected quickly and saw her give me a small smile before nodded without no more comment, she know it makes me mad when she speak about the subject of me too serious as a teenager.

We just stood there and didn't say anything in awkward silence before she finaly decided to walk back to her room but not before tap my head like I'm a little boy.

"Oh yeah" She stopped on her track and turn her head back to my direction "Your father called and he.."

"I won't see him, mom" Again, I cut her in cold tone before she finish her word.

My parents finally decided to life on separate way, my father remarried with his girlfriend 3 months after the divorcement being made and I saw how my mother's life being torn with the news, so I never allowed myself to forgive his action, even though I know he always send me money for my needs, which I never touch, and I also didn't want to meet or hear any news about him.

It's been two years since my mother forced me to go meet him in the hospital when his new wife had the baby, like he said was my new sister.

I was 14 at that time and I have two step sister from him and his new mistress that I didn't want to acknowledge.

I hate him.

And I didn't intend to forgive him any moment.

"Shin" My mother sighed and touches my cheek. She know to not argue with me about him, I also know deep down she was happy for knowing me defend her, I know how sad she is when she knows the story about my cheating father, I saw and hear her crying every night in these years, thank God she stop crying him, he didn't deserved any of her tears.

He didn't deserve us.

"It's late, I think I'm going to go sleep" I said and backing away from her.

She give me another smile and nod "Night dear"

"Night, mom" I kiss her cheek and left her but before I walk on the stair, I turn around to see her sat in the dining chair with her head down.

Damn you father for making my mother like this, I curse and running back to my room.

"So, you mean.."

"That you can join the advance class with senior, Shin" He said calmingly with a proud smile.

The next day, when I heard the intercom calling me to go to the headmaster room, people staring at me and don't believe with what they heard, they thought of me being naughty, so the headmaster call me.

But, I never thought that I got this surprise.

My excellent score in math and history class make the teacher decided to put me in the advance class with seniors.

"Um.." I don't know how to react honestly because I already comfort in my class now.

"Aren't you happy, child?" He asked in worry and I just nod my head, do not know how to respond him.

I guess I am happy, but with senior?

I don't know how I can handle them.

All of my friends in class already hate me, because of me the lesson is getting harder and they hate me for that.

Why are you have to be so smart?

Can't you pretend to not know the answer?

Can't you not doing the homework?

"Shin?" the headmaster called and snaps me back from my mind.

I give him a small smile and nod in reassurrance  "Thank you for the opportunity. Can I go now?"

"Good luck, dear"

Walking out of the headmaster office, I wonder why I'm not feeling happy.

This is what I am looking for right?

That's why I tried harder than the other, right?

Why I always had this feeling that this life is not for me?

Like I have somewhere else to go?

Like I belong to other place?

Shiver when the winds blow my skin because it's almost winter and I should've worn my winter jacket now.

It just a wind. I tried to convince myself.

I get use to hear like someone calling my name, when the wind blows. At first I was freaking out, but it happen for years and I already get used for it.

"HIKE"

I turn my head and saw the football player been practicing and try to not wincing when their body hit each other.

"Why in earth those were legal?" I murmured before keep walking to my old Toyota car, where I use to park my car behind the gym.

I like being lonely and quiet when no one can't say something bad to me and just be myself with my own books and imagination.

That's why I choose this place to put my car because it nearest the library too, where I spend a lot of my time.

"Uff.."

I grunt when a ball hit my body and turning my head to see a guy jogged toward me.

"Hey!!"

Sighed, I look down and pick the ball before throw it to him.

He bulge his eyes and wave "THANKS"

I wave back and start walking again; I guess he didn't realize that he was talking to the biggest nerd in school.

.. (Meanwhile) ..

"What do you mean you reject her? You need a princess" The King yelled in anger after he heard the words his son tell him.

"Like I said before, I found the perfect one for me. I reject Evel because I already have my own princess (prince talking about Shin) to be my beloved one" I retort calmly with my eyes lock in challenging way toward him, I am the only one who could stare at him like this, he know I am more powerful than him,

My father or the king glares angrily before storm out from my office.

Sighed, I trying to reach him, but he never respond or even remember me. I guess he's way too young when I found him.

I was out of the castle when I feel her.

I know exactly he was my other half but he's still small when I forced myself to go out from the castle and ending by hurting myself just to meet him and know him.

I thought he's living in the small house that I know belong to an old couple before, but then one day when I decided to tell the news to my kings, he was gone. I can't sense him near me anymore.

I know he still alive but he's too far from me to reach him.

I try to use the wind to call him, but it was no use.

Growl, I hit the desk before follow my father.

I can't let him force me to marry someone that didn't belong to me.

I just want Shin.....

Gasped, I blinked several times before realize that I have another dream... in the Library?

I quickly collect my stuff after I put back the books that I borrow when realize that it 8PM already.

"Shit, how can I slept in the corner of the Library with books?! Mother going to be worry" I murmured and smile to the Librarian lady who widened her eyes.

"I thought you're left already, Shin" She said and wave when I pointed to my wrist to tell her I was late.

"Bye, Maria!"

I run to my car with phone on my ear.

'Shin, where are you?!'

I winced when I hear my mother yelled on the other line "Sorry, mom. I was in the Library and didn't realize that.."

'I should have know' She speak before I finish my word 'Are on your way back home or need more time to read?' She asked harsly, I know she wishing me to have a real life beside my books, but I am too odd to other people, I can't even speak without embarrassing myself so it's better for me to not interacted with other.

"Yes, I'm on my way back, mom" I sighed.

'See you then'

I start the car and start driving, people use to drive while they on the phone but I'm too smart to do that and make myself in danger.

Those dream with the same man and the place..

The place..

I think I know where is it, but where, I've forgot.

It's in the forest, always the same forest and the massive castle.

I know I've seen those place before, but where?

Is it from one on the books?

No, I know I've seen it with my eyes before.

I blinked when the traffic light already turn to green and quickly move my car.

I need to stop day-dreaming or thinking about the dream, I sighed and glad when I see my house near before park my car beside my mother's in the garage.

"Mom, I'm home" I shout and walk in the living room and saw her watch 'House'.

I take a seat beside her on the couch before put my head on her shoulder.

"Don't scare me like that again, I'm so worried, Shin" She said and I nod my head.

"Sorry, mom"

She stroke my hair softly "Text me if you want to do something after school, okay?"

"I will"

"Good, take a shower then, you stink" She teased and laughed when I rolled my eyes before running to my room at the same time her phone ringing.

"Eun ae Yeoung speaking.." I heard my mother answer her phone when I open my room and stop on my track when hear her shouted. "WHAT?!"

I put down my bag and running back down-stair.

"Mom" I shout and stop when I saw her face. "Mom, what's wrong? Who is it on the phone?" I run to the couch and hug her when I notice her crying. "Mom?"

"Oh, Shin a..." She sobbed and make me worry.

"What is it mom? Who's on the phone?"

"It.. It's the police" She choked when she try to speak.

"Police?" I asked confused.

She nodded "You're grandmother" She pause and take a deep breathe while I keep silently waiting for her to continue "They found her dead in her house"

"What?" I shout, shock with the news.

My grandmother, I know her, I think we visit her when I was young then she forbid me to come again on my 13 birthday by phone which makes mother and me confused with her, but she insist and push me to never come to her hometown anymore.

I know my mother asked the reason but never knew the answer.

"We need to go, but.." My mother speak and I know she remember that I was forbid to come.

"Mom, she's my grandmother, I can't not go!" I cried and she lock her gaze for a second before nod.

"You're right" She sighed with tears still on her "I'll prepare everything and call my office and your school about our absence" She said and stood up with the phone and I quickly run back to my room to prepare my stuff.

I quickly shove my stuff in one big suitcase that I always used when we're going together as family, before my father found another woman and when I walk to the bathroom, I heard my mother called her office then to the travel agent for our ticket before the taxi arrived in front of our house to take us to the airport.

I keep looking outside in the airplane because this is  the first I remember going to the place called Sago.

We stop in the Dulin before take a bus in two hour to Sago.

"I didn't remember grandma hometown was this far, mom" I comment to my mother who just give me a sad smile.

When we arrived in the bus station, my mother walk to the car rent, where she already make an appointment for a car that we sill use while we were there.

We shove our stuff in the passenger seat on the back before I follow my mother and jump inside the station wagon.

"Sago is a beauty small town, is it your first time going there?" the driver speak politely with a warm smile toward us.

My mother shook her head before she speak "My mother live there so it's not our first" She answer shortly and they start talking more when I decided to put on the headset and open a book to tune them.

But I guess I'm more tired than I think, so it only takes 10 minutes for me to finally close my eyes and sleep.

"Shin a... SHIN !!" My mother voice snap me and I have blinked my eyes couple time before get up from my seat.

"We're here, get up" My mother speak and I follow her to the small Victorian house with beautiful garden beside it.

Slowly I jump out from the car and look around.

Then I see it...

"Oh God.. Is that.." I whispered and close my mouth indisbelief with what I saw.

It was the forest that I kept dreaming.

"Is it possible?"

I gasped with racing heartbeat.

Even the wind sound clearer here.

They really calling my name...

"Shin?"

My mother's voice snap me back again and make me turn my gaze from the forest.

"Come, we need to go inside"

I nod and slowly follow her inside the house.

Shivered when the wind blow my skin.

I hold my own body when the cold hit me and quickly run inside the house.

What is it with this place?

Oh God...

It's like the wind calling me.

If only he knew someone of something watch him from afar since he cross the country.

He knows he's coming and this time he won't let go of him, not again.

This time he will claim what's his.
