THE ASSASIN

Dark & Mysterious

She moved like a shadow silent, unseen. One moment, the street was empty. The next, she was there, hood drawn low, eyes sharp as blades. No one knew her real name, but to those who feared her, she was simply called the Assassin.

It began in a city named Mistvale. The city was always so calm that no one believed danger could ever reach it. But the Assassin changed that. Her strike was sudden, her presence terrifying. The people of Mistvale could not understand how their peaceful home had become a place of fear. Panic spread like fire some fled, some froze, and others were simply lost.

Children cried as a chilling sound echoed through the streets. One boy was so frightened he collapsed where he stood. Families scattered, and Mistvale crumbled into chaos. Some escaped, and many did not. And through it all, the Assassin moved without mercy. No one knew who she was or why she had come. But she was not finished. She was already smiling, already dreaming of the next city to devour.

She moved on to another city Lunaria. It was a calm place, though floods sometimes swept through its streets. That night, the Assassin came while everyone slept. Everyone… except one.

A lone figure stood waiting. He had known this day would come.

“I knew the Assassin would come to our city,” he said firmly.

From the shadows, a cold laugh echoed.

“Well, well,” the Assassin hissed. “Someone knows about the city I devoured.”

The man straightened. “My name is Corvan Hale, and I will not let you harm my people.”

The Assassin stepped forward, pale hair glowing in the moonlight. Her voice was like ice.

“Well, Corvan… my name is Ravyn. And you cannot protect them. I am the shadow.”

Her laugh was sharp and cruel as shadows burst outward, sweeping through the streets and striking down the innocent.

“Run!” Corvan shouted. “Run away! I will handle this—RUN!”

But Ravyn only sneered. “They cannot run from me, fool.”

She surged toward him. Corvan turned and fled, dragging a few survivors with him. Some escaped into the night. Many did not. Lunaria, like Mistvale before it, had fallen to the Assassin’s wrath.

Soon enough, Ravyn’s laughter echoed across the land—loud and cruel. Her voice carried so far that nearby villages knew a city had fallen. Fear spread quickly, and the closest villages began to prepare in case she came for them next.

One such place was Willowbrook, which joined forces with its neighbor, Rosehollow.

The leader of Willowbrook, Eldric Thorne, and the leader of Rosehollow, Branik Hollowfall, stood together. Determined, they crafted a plan to stop the assassin. Their idea was simple but desperate: line the village with hidden weapons, set traps, and strike the moment Ravyn appeared. Backup weapons would be ready if the first defenses failed.

Both leaders worked tirelessly, their people alongside them. When the preparations were finished, Willowbrook bristled with secret defenses, waiting in silence. The villagers believed that, this time, they might finally defeat the Assassin, Maybe.

Willowbrook & Rosehollow vs Ravyn the assasin

The villages had finished their preparations, and their weapons were ready. Traps lined the streets, hidden blades lay in wait, and every villager believed they were prepared for the Assassin. But as the night dragged on and no attack came, their confidence wavered. Exhaustion crept in, and one by one, they drifted into sleep.

That was exactly what Ravyn wanted.

Perched in the shadows beyond the village walls, her white hair glowed faintly in the moonlight. A cruel smile curled across her face. Let them wait, she thought. Let them believe I will never come. That is when I strike. She could already taste their fear, and it delighted her.

But the villagers were not as foolish as she believed. Eldric Thorne and Branik Hollowfall had left behind a hidden weapon of their own design—an intricate mechanism built to detect intruders. If anything crossed its path, it would spring to life, launching a deadly strike before the enemy could blink.

When Ravyn finally stepped forward, the mechanism clicked. The air shifted as gears turned and steel bolts snapped into position.

But Ravyn only laughed, her voice slicing through the silence.

“You cannot trigger me,” she hissed. “I am invincible.”

The surrounding shadows writhed, as though alive, swallowing the moonlight as she prepared to unleash her fury on Willowbrook and Rosehollow.

Ravyn’s laughter grew louder, echoing like a blade across the village. Shadows spilled from her hands, twisting and writhing as they devoured everything they touched—walls, weapons, even the earth beneath her feet. She could almost taste victory.

But then, the villagers awoke. Shouts filled the night as they grabbed their weapons and unleashed a storm of arrows, spears, and bolts. Ravyn moved like smoke—slipping, weaving, dodging every strike with inhuman grace. Not a single blade touched her.

Frustration spread quickly among the defenders. Desperate, they released their most powerful weapon: a massive war-wolf, trained to protect the village since birth. Its fangs gleamed, its eyes burning with fury as it lunged at her.

Ravyn’s smile only widened. With a swirl of her shadows, she caught the beast mid-leap. Its howl split the night before her darkness swallowed it whole. The villagers froze, horror in their eyes.

One by one, they fell. Ravyn’s shadows consumed them without mercy, until the screams faded into silence. When it was over, only two figures remained standing—Eldric Thorne and Branik Hollowfall, their faces grim, their weapons drawn.

Eldric’s voice was low but urgent. “We can’t win this fight. Run, before she takes us too.”

Branik hesitated only a moment before nodding. “Alright. Quickly—go!”

They turned to flee, but before they could take more than a few steps, the shadows closed in. Ravyn stood before them, her pale eyes glowing in the dark. The two men froze, their hearts pounding as her laughter rippled through the night.

Yet instead of striking them down, she tilted her head, studying them like prey she had no interest in killing.

“Pathetic,” she sneered. “You are nothing. Useless. You could never defeat me.”

Her laughter rose, cruel and triumphant, shaking the air around them. And then—just as suddenly—she stepped back, letting the shadows part. Eldric and Branik were left standing, shaken but alive, as her laughter echoed long after she vanished into the darkness.

The back story

One night, the assassin was gonna devour another Tiny Village, but then something came across in her mind. She remembered the backstory of herself. She was a young little kid, and her mother died first because she got run over by a horse. The doctor tried everything to heal her, but she wouldn't wake up. She cried so hard, but her dad said to comfort her and said I'm here with you." One day, she was sitting with her aunt, and her dad was just having an adventure with his friends. They were rock climbing on actual rocks, and he fell, so he died. She got so frustrated that she ran out of the house and found a random knife she took and left her Village. That's how she became an assassin.

Once you remember all this, she sat there crying. She said, "Why did my parents have to die. That night, she didn't devour anyone she sat there doing nothing except crying. Someone in the woods found her, and then she was about to devour him, but he said, "Calm down, I'm here to talk. She didn't want to sit down, but all she said was, what do you want from a reason, or I will kill you. He sat down and said I'm a scientist." I just wanted to know you because everyone has been suffering just because of you. I know everyone is suffering, she said. The scientist said, "Then why are you doing this to the people if you know they're suffering.

Because my parents died and they got so angry so I thought of doing this to get Payback she said. The scientist said okay calm down." He just has a seat until me. Why are you getting payback because your parents died. Sorry, my name is Raven, and I was only just 10 years old when my parents' died. I'll tell you how my mom died because she ran over a horse. The doctor tried to do everything, but she wouldn't wake up. I was so sad I cried for about three hours just because my mother died and my dad kept trying to calm me down and said I'm here so don't worry your mom will be with us in our hearts. So I believed him but then one day I was sitting with my own for the day and my dad was going on an adventure with his friends the problem is they went rock climbing so my dad fell so he died so I got really frustrated so I left the house. When I left the house, I found a random knife, so what I did is take it, and then that day I became the assassin. I'm sorry for what happened with that. That doesn't mean you have to kill everyone just because your parents died because of these things, the scientist said.

I'm sorry for not introducing myself my name is Max the scientist I wanted to study you just make sure you're actually not a devil making sure that you're just a normal girl that just kills people. Raven said I'm not a devil I'm just a 15 year old girl.
